Gorgeous rental dress, and the customer service was brilliant! They tailor the dress to fit to your height and size, a great way to have the perfect dress for your wedding. Very much recommend their dresses - a great selection!

Where do I even begin? I came to Cynthia with a very idiosyncratic dress design which was inspired from fifteenth-century manuscripts and she transformed by idea into the dress of my dreams! Everyone was gushing on the wedding day and the best part about the design is that I can now work with her on repurposing it for a regular formal gown by dyeing it blue. She is extremely meticulous when it comes to pattern cutting and thinking about how fabric is supposed to fall and affect one’s silhouette - the mark of a truly talented dress-maker. On an individual level, Cynthia is extremely friendly and funny and treats you like a friend. I especially loved hearing all her tales about the ups and downs and the drama behind wedding dress design. Unlike most other designers I’ve tried to work with, she actually responds to e-mails and fixed dates in calendars and working with her has none of the faff which is more common to other bespoke designers. :)

Choosing and designing my dress at Joyce Young was a pleasure from start to finish. Mary and all the other staff were so helpful and friendly, and the experience was one of my favourite parts of preparing for the wedding. It was great to have the flexibility to take elements that I liked from different dresses and combine them to create one that was unique for me. Kolin had an amazing attention to detail when designing the dress, in particular when attaching the individual pieces of lace on the top. The final result was perfect and really comfortable to wear. I also loved having different items that I could add or remove, such as the separate top and overskirt, to create several different looks during the course of the day. Thank you to everyone at Joyce Young for being such an important part of my special day! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Joyce Young to anyone looking for a beautiful and unique wedding dress.
