Securing Sali as my make up artist for my wedding was my dream come true!! She was amazing from start to finish, from my make up trial to the actual big day!! Sali make me look and feel like a million dollars, which was key for me, as I can sometime lack confidence. On the day she was so professional, and kept my nerves at bay by making me laugh. Sali did my makeup for my wedding in October, alongside the makeup of my two bridesmaids! Our makeup looked amazing and lasted all day. I felt like the best version of myself, rather than looking like someone completely different.

Sali is a wonderful person to have around on the morning of your wedding. She is easy to get along with and is great to have a laugh with. She is also a calming presence when the panic sets in! She goes beyond doing makeup and also acts as a therapist, and a shoe doer-upper!

I first met Sali in 2016 when I booked her for my wedding.

I knew from the first contact I’d chosen the right make up artist! I had a wonderful trial and felt completely at ease, and walked out feeling like the best version of myself and with lots of tips too.
On the wedding day she accommodated a ridiculously early start to get my bridal party and I ready on time. She was an absolute joy to have around on the the morning of the wedding.

Fast forward 6 years… a divorce, a baby and another wedding to plan! The first person I contacted was Sali, I just knew I didn’t want anyone else for my make up.

We had another great trial and an even better catch up! The morning of the wedding was just as great, with Sali working her magic on younger bridesmaids and older family members, with age appropriate and beautiful results. She helped out with my dress and anything else we needed, bringing humour, reassurance and her fabulous self to what can be a stressful morning. I’ll always be grateful we had her around (again!)

Should I need her for a third time, I wouldn’t hesitate! But let’s hope not…! ❤️

Sali was incredible, from the moment I had my trial to the day she was super thoughtful, the wedding survival kit is such a fantastic touch. On the day she won’t just do your makeup, she will make sure you as a bride are looked after! She saved my day by being the only person to get me in my dress!
The makeup itself was absolutely stunning, I felt like me but better, it lasted so well, felt natural and not heavy.
I’ve since had my makeup done a few times since and everytime felt uncomfortable and caked and have not enjoyed it!

As soon as I got engaged (well probably even before that!) I knew I'd want Sali to do my wedding make up.
Having followed Sali's account from the beginning, I fell in love with her natural style make-up and her ability to draw out people's nature beauty.
But what is even more impressive than this, is that Sali is completely and unashamedly 100% herself all the time (no fake beauty counter conversations while you get foundation slapped on with a trowel here!)

I had my wedding makeup done with Sali several years ago.

We booked in a trial to discuss what look I wanted to go for and I had a fabulous time trying out Sali’s vast selection of products. She really listened to what I wanted and helped me to translate that into a beautiful look for my wedding day. I came away feeling confident and so happy with my makeup, I wish I could have kept it on forever!

On the day itself Sali came to my house to do my makeup. She was a wonderful person to have there that morning, she had us all smiling and laughing and helped any last minute nerves to disappear! Again my makeup look on the day was perfect, and it lasted well into the early hours of the morning, through rain, happy tears and dancing.

One bonus to having Sali do my makeup, was the knowledge that she passed on during my trial. I still use products that she recommended to me now 7 years later, they’re some of my favourites, and she taught me new techniques which have improved my makeup application day to day. Sali’s make up collection is 100% cruelty free, and she was able to recommend the best alternatives to products that I had in my own makeup bag.

I can wholeheartedly recommend Sali as a fab makeup artist and a lovely person that you will be so happy to have by your side on your big day.

Sali did a full trial followed by make-up on the day for myself, mum and sister in June 2023. We decided to go all-out and get a trial booked for everyone because my mum and sister never wear make-up at all, they wanted chance to practice not rubbing their face by accident during the day, and to make sure we all felt really comfortable with the MUA. Sali was spot on in combining their preferences and favourite colours in a way that was just stunning on both of them.

I didn’t think I’d have much of a problem picking out a make-up look with an MUA for my big day because I’m usually very laid back when doing-up my own face, make-it-up-as-you-go-along, doesn’t matter if it’s not perfect, etc. But when I sat in the chair in front of Sali in her Nottingham studio, that went completely out of the window, and I realised I actually really struggle with visualisation, and couldn’t picture how trends or colours that I love might look on my own face. What an awkward moment to realise that I don’t really know what I like! Sali was so calm about it, I went back for a second trial just the two of us and she really helped me work it out by going step by step through the process, helping me articulate what I did and didn’t like as we put the look together. Her patience was incredible, and I swear that’s the best my skin has ever looked!

On the day, Sali kept us all, a bunch of anxious introverts, relaxed with a bit of banter between the hairstylist and photographer, so that getting ready was a piece of cake. It was important to me not to be hanging around getting more and more nervous, they timed the hair and make-up perfectly and the whole prep-time went so quickly. Sali was hugely attentive to the mood and the nerves in the room too, and was incredibly grounding with lots of reminders to drink a bit more water, deep breaths, shake out the tension etc. She was an absolute superstar. My only regret is not making a note of the brand and shade foundation she used on me! Thank you x

I wish there was an option to give Sali 10 ⭐️! I have had 2 make up lessons & she did my wedding make up! I cannot get enough! She is one of the most caring & supportive people on top of being extremely talented! If you haven’t booked in with her what are you waiting for!
