Helena is a makeup artist with over ten years of experience ensuring her clients look and feel beautiful on their big day. From beautiful glowing skin, flawless skin and soft-full glam styling, she can bring any vision to life. All products used are vegan and cruelty free.
Helena provides the ultimate, seamless experience for your morning. For larger bookings of over six people, a trusted makeup/ hair assistant will be on hand to help.
Services Offered
Helena Rose Mobile Beauty and Makeup use only the finest, award-winning products from leading brands, including Charlotte Tilbury, Nars, Delilah cosmetics and Airbase HD airbrush. They're known for creating flawless looks that work wonderfully under the camera light. Their services include:
- Wedding day makeup for primarily brides or anyone requiring makeup services on a wedding day.
- Bridal hair styling for the bride and all bridal party members.
- A trial for perfecting your wedding day look in advance.
- Nouveau LVL lashes (premium lash lift)
- Facials and skin care plans
- 10% off all beauty treatments prior to your wedding day (eyebrow, eyelash and skin treatments)

After consulting with you at your bridal makeup trial, a bespoke makeup look will be provided for you, taking into consideration your theme and how you want to look and feel on the day

With as much notice as possible as wedding dates get booked up quickly

What is the charge for travelling?
No charge for any venue within 10 miles of West Bridgford.
Further than 10 miles from West Bridgford will incur a mileage charge

30% to secure your trial date

Remainder of trial fee is due on the day of the trial

Perfect make up artist
Helena recently did the make up for myself and my bridal party.
Booking in with Helena was super easy, she was very responsive, quickly sorted a quote and invoice.
The trial was an amazing opportunity to spend a couple of hours trialling options, especially as someone that rarely makes a huge effort with my make up beyond the basics.
On the day Helena was incredible, listening to each member of the party to create a look they were comfortable with.
She also must be some kind of magician because in 34 degrees we all still looked great come the end of the night with make up firmly in place.

Wedding makeup.
Helena is chatty, bubbly and puts your mind at ease, felt very comfortable throughout. Helena worked her magic even in extreme heat, I had many lovely compliments on my bridesmaid hair and makeup! Thank-you Helena☺️

Laine did an amazing job!
We had a lovely lady called Laine who was arranged for us by Helena. Laine did a fantastic job of helping us all look and feel amazing on the day. She arrived on time with everything she needed. Laine worked really hard and had us all ready and looking fabulous in plenty of time. The whole experience was relaxed and fun. There was no rushing around or panicking. Everything was really chilled and a fantastic experience. My makeup stayed perfect all day and everyones hair lasted until the end of the night, even through all the dancing! Thank you to Laine - a very talented lady.

Brilliant make up and hair for my wedding
Brilliant from start to finish. Helena spent time to get the finer details right and was always happy to listen to any changes I wanted on the day. She was confident and bubbly which really helps to calm your nerves on the wedding day! Helena did my hair and make up on the day and I was thrilled with both. She even did my mums hair for me as she was stressing about putting fresh flowers in her hair and Helena just did it for free for her which was lovely. I couldn’t recommend her enough!!

Amazing morning!
It was such a lovely morning getting ready with Helena! She did my makeup, my mum's and my bridesmaids' makeup and she delivered high energy and great vibes to get our day started!
She made us all look so beautiful! She carefully listened to what we wanted and even freestyled when my mum didn't know what she actually wanted. Makeup was great all day and survived the hottest day of May for a wedding!

Let down by the artist
Booked this artist in March 2025 for a wedding in May 2026, all was going well and deposit was paid. Added additional services December 2025 and schedules and trial dates were discussed. Then received a text end of December informing us that she had double booked! She did offer to transfer us to someone she knew which we were happy to do but we asked for this persons details so we could see their work which we were told would be sent over the next day. After messaging twice we were then informed ten days later that this wasn’t an option as they were no longer doing weddings. Helena did say she was looking to try to find someone else but was struggling to find someone. Given the uncertainty we requested our deposit be refunded and this was received after chasing up again.

Amazing work
Helena did my bridal party and my make up and hair for my wedding on 23rd May. She is highly skilled and uses high quality products - i got so many compliments and my make up and hair looked perfect all day. During my trials she worked with me to choose something that complemented my dress and veil. She went above and beyond to make me feel at ease and is a genuinely lovely, bubbly person. I would use her again for any event.

Helena provides a high-quality and professional service. From the moment I met Helena, she instantly put me at ease with her friendly and caring persona. Helena listened carefully to what I wanted and was happy to requests when I struggled to find a specific style I wanted.
Helena was able to cater for my large bridal party and her warm-hearted nature helped make my wedding morning flow easily. Everyone in my bridal party, myself included, said how well our hair and make up stayed all day. My sister cried multiple times throughout the day and mentioned how well Helena had done with the make up as it didn’t budge at all.

An absolute gem 💎
I would 100% recommend Helena to any bride who is looking for a hair and makeup artist for their wedding! I met Helena in person at a wedding fair last year and that’s where I was able to fully see the services she offered. When I then saw she was on Hitched; I was so pleased to reach out to her to see if she was available for my big day. She is an absolute gem of a human being and is so lovely to speak to :) She works with you every step of the way to make sure she gets the exact look to what you are wanting for your hair and makeup. She made me and bridesmaids look absolutely beautiful for the day and we had such wonderful conversations with her whilst we got ready. I couldn’t recommend Helena enough! She did my wedding makeup as well as my bridesmaids’ and our mums’, and she was absolutely amazing from start to finish. She was so lovely, patient, and really understood that I wanted a natural, fresh finish.
Even during the trial and on the wedding day, when I wasn’t quite sure about certain things, nothing was ever a problem — she took her time and didn’t stop until everything was perfect and everyone was happy. One of my bridesmaids even said it was the first time she didn’t have to change her makeup afterwards because it looked so beautiful and dewy!
