Lynsey and Josh tied the knot in an amazing tipi wedding with lots of homemade, rustic and reclaimed details. They shared their day with 120 of their closest friends and family, who attended the traditional church ceremony and danced the night away to a DJ and band in the tipi!
Husband and Wife
Josh and Lynsey first met in Josh’s parents’ hair salon, and were together for five years before Josh proposed to his future wife under the Puente Nuevo in Ronda, Spain. He had designed the ring himself, combining elements he knew Lynsey would love to create the perfect engagement ring.
The couple were engaged for eight months, and during that time they planned their perfect wedding which was an outdoors extravaganza, including a party in a tipi! They took a big gamble planning an outdoor wedding in the North West, but it paid off as it was hot and sunny all day.
They made sure their wedding suited them perfectly, with the groom eschewing the traditional suited look and instead going for a casual take on it, wearing smart trousers, a waistcoat and an open neck shirt. Lynsey and Josh even baked sundried tomato and herb bread in flower pots for their guests adding to the rustic, homemade feel.
