Honeymoons in Grenada
Known as the Spice Island due to it’s production of nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves, turmeric and mace, Grenada is the southernmost of the Windward Islands and has a rugged mountainous interior and a coastline of bays and secluded beaches perfect for water sports. One of the quieter islands in the Caribbean, it has kept its traditional charm and is a peaceful retreat from modern distractions. Following hurricane Ivan in September the island has undergone extensive restoration, trees and plants are beginning to grow and the friendliness and hospitality of the Grenadian people holds true. The hotels we feature sustained minimal damage and have now fully reopened.
One of the least frequented islands in the Caribbean, Grenada is perfect if you are looking for a secluded trip where you feel like the only two people in the world.
Full of mountainous bays and quiet beaches, it’s a great destination for a relaxing getaway. Visit the extravagant gardens that Grenada has to offer or walk hand in hand along one of the many white sandy beaches. If you’re feeling adventurous you could take a trip to one of Grenada’s crystal clear waterfalls or visit the beautiful Grenadian forests.
With beautiful beach side restaurants, hotels and bars, Grenada caters for all tastes and offers beautiful, unspoilt scenery for newlyweds to enjoy.
