Woodsome Hall, located just south of Huddersfield, is a 15th-century Grade 1 listed building, dating back to 1462 and is truly striking and steeped in history. It's thought to be the oldest building being used as a golf clubhouse in England and one of the oldest in the world!

There are a number of space options for weddings of all sizes, from 10 guests to over 100, and the Hall has a wedding license too. Apart from various rooms inside the clubhouse, there are options to install a marquee in a wonderful courtyard setting or on the lawn at the back of the building.

Woodsome also has a superb accommodation option for up to 16 guests. Our 8 twin-bedded 'Cottage on the Course' is situated at the rear of the 7th green and within two minutes walking distance of the main clubhouse. Each room features an en-suite bathroom, complimentary Wi-Fi, flat-screen TV, tea and coffee facilities, and contemporary, stylish interiors.

As you might imagine with a building so historic, there are plenty of opportunities for fabulous photographs of the big day.
