I feel honoured to have gotten married at Castelvecchi as it really is something out of a fairytale. This venue is a piece of Italian heritage, a true traditional rustic farmhouse style villa but with elegant grandeur & timeless class. The views around the vineyard are simply indescribable & every single one of our guests commented on how special this place is. We had a 3 night wedding here in late July 2025 & everything was complete perfection. We attended the summer before for our food tasting, met the team and were able to explore the rooms. From the minute we found this treasure, Barbara and her team really did try to assist us in creating our perfect wedding.
The catering is honestly exceptional. Sofia and her team are fantastic and we were served incredible food throughout the wedding weekend. We chose to not use external catering and wanted to support the beautiful on site restaurant and I would highly recommend this. It almost felt like fine dining throughout our wedding breakfast and in 92 guests, not a single person had an incorrect meal or allergy missed. We also had just a wonderful time with the staff and by night 3, after a stunning pizza party, they were dancing into the night with us!
Although I hope to of course not marry again, I truly hope to have a reason in the future to hire and return to CastelVecchi - genuinely a piece of our hearts now lives within those gardens ♥️

From the moment we arrived the staff was amazing. Our guests felt very well taken care of and loved staying on site. The villa and grounds are wonderful and the food was excellent. The staff truly felt like part of our celebration and made for an unforgettable wedding for us and our friends and family.

This venue was recommended to us by our dear friends from Volpaia, and we couldn’t have made a better choice! The place is simply wonderful: surrounded by nature, a little paradise of genuine Tuscan land that creates a magical atmosphere—perfect for such a special day.

Barbara and Davide are exceptionally kind and accommodating, always ready to help and fulfill any request. Sofia and Lorenzo, who lead the catering, are two very young siblings but already incredibly professional from the very first meeting and also very kind. The entire team is extremely attentive, supportive, and dedicated to meeting every need.

On the day of the event, everything was absolutely flawless. We spent a weekend with friends that we will remember forever.

We got married at Borgo Castelvecchi this past July, and it was honestly the best decision we could have made. From our very first meeting with Barbara, we immediately knew it was the perfect match. Even though we live in Portugal, we always felt incredibly supported by the entire team. We never heard a single “no.” For every request, there was always a solution, and that made all the difference.

Without a wedding planner, but with the invaluable help of Barbara, Sofia, and Danielle, we were able to bring our dream wedding to life.

And the venue itself? Absolutely perfect. We had a truly immersive experience by staying at the Borgo for two nights along with our family. The moments by the pool and the pizza party the night before the wedding are memories we will never forget.

Everything was simply perfect, and we hope to return in the future to renew our vows in this special place.

Marta and Tom got married on September 27 in splendid Borgo Castelvecchi, an it has been absolutely magical! We were together when they chose the venue and we all fell in love with it.
From day one Barbara and Daniele were really helpful and responsive in helping Marta by giving her a list of known vendors as she has been her own wedding planner.
We have spent some special three days in Castelvecchi where we were all welcomed with great warmth. All the events have been perfectly organised, despite the crazy weather which has caused some last minute change of plans...all has been rearranged in a blink of an eye and seamlessly to make the day run smoothly.
The food was excellent thanks to Sofia and all her team!

We got married at Borgo Castelvecchi in July this year, and we still cannot get over how beautiful this location is!

We want to thank Barbara, Daniele and Sofia for being incredibly kind, flexible and providing the best service since day 1. During our wedding weekend we needed to make some adjustments; change the room list, add extra people to wine tasting, dinners and change the timing on the wedding day a bit. None of these points were any problem for Barbara, Sofia and Daniele. The staff saw solutions and made the changes without a hesitation. What we appreciate most is how friendly they were every day, and did not stress us as a wedding couple. They were professional and at the same time it felt like we knew them for a long time - we had some nice and funny moments together!

The food and wines were amazing. We travelled in Italy to different cities after the wedding, and we can truly say that the best food we had was at Borgo Castelvecchi! Many of our guests complimented the food we had, and especially the pizza and the dinner at the wedding day is hard to forget!

The location itself is charming, romantic and the pool area is perfect when it’s a bit warm. We loved that the Borgo could accommodate all of our guests! The views were breath taking! All the rooms were nice, clean and there were fans in all rooms.

On the wedding day, the ceremony was located in the garden and the dinner in front of the main area and the party on the terrace. We loved that there were 3 different spots (all next to each other), because it was perfect for each part of the big day.

We truly recommend Borgo Castelvecchi to everyone who is considering having their wedding there! Staff, food, wines, location, facilities and the rooms are perfect. It was better than we could ever imagine! We felt that we were guests on our wedding because the staff have such a good control on everything.

We are planning to visit Borgo Castelvecchi next summer, just to say hi to Barbara, Daniele and Sofia and have a glimpse of the place where we had the best days of our lives.

I found Borgo Castelvecchi on Hitched and knew immediately it was the venue for us. We knew we wanted all of our guests to be able to stay on site, and this is a huge perk of Borgo Castelvecchi. We flew to Italy to view it (I booked one other viewing as a sense check but there was absolutely no need!) and our search was complete. It is beautiful and rustic and laid back. The main villa is absolutely stunning and no threat of rain could have stopped us from eating outside in front of the villa under the lights. Daniele, Barbara and Sofia are so amicable and helpful and easy to work with; I didn’t have a wedding planner so together we worked the schedule and finalised all the details - I couldn’t have done it without them, especially Sofia. All the feedback from our guests has been to praise the food - so thank you Sofia and Lorenzo! Finally, I recommend using Instagram to find suppliers (music, flowers, photographer) who have worked at Borgo Castelvecchi before as it totally streamlined that process - and they were all fantastic and lovely people. Jealous of all those looking for their wedding venues in Tuscany and encourage you to choose Borgo Castelvecchi! ❤️

My husband and I looked into 45 different wedding venues all over Italy. Borgo Castelvecchi stood out to us the most as it can host up to 100 guests. The property is private to you are your guests for the duration of your stay not only is it stunning you have also have pool. Barbara and Sofia made all our dreams come true. The food was outstanding not a single complaint from our guests. The rooms were perfect and spacious and if you needed apartment style rooms with kitchens they have that available to you. Barbara and Sofia also helped us with corresponding with local vendors and sourcing them as well. We would recommend Borgo Castelvecchi.

I cannot recommend Borgo Castlevecchi highly enough. Our wedding weekend was everything we could’ve wished for and more. Barbara was incredibly responsive from the word go, always there to reply to questions on email or WhatsApp. The wedding itself ran incredibly smoothly. The catering supplied by Borgo Castlevecchi was very efficient and also incredibly delicious, our guests keep talking now about how great the food was! We stayed at Borgo Castlevecchi for four nights with our guests staying somewhere between two and four nights also, being able to have the place to ourselves felt like we had our own little village which made the whole weekend incredibly special. We spent the days hanging out by the pool, eating in the courtyard and having a wonderful, wonderful time. I honestly want to go back and do it all again, there is nothing that I would change. We visited Tuscany in 2023 to explore wedding venues, and the moment we saw Borgo Castelvecchi, we knew it was the one. The charm, the views, the atmosphere – it was exactly what we imagined for our wedding. Our 3-day celebration there was nothing short of perfect. The team was incredibly supportive and passionate about what they do, and it truly showed in every detail. All of our 70 guests, including children, were able to stay on-site comfortably, which made the whole experience even more special.

A huge thank you also to Sofia, Lorenzo, and the entire team at Ristorante Castelvecchi. From the welcome pizza party to the wedding dinner and light lunch, everything was absolutely delicious. They were so flexible and thoughtful – my husband is vegetarian and they made sure we had plenty of great veggie options throughout the entire stay. They even organized a birthday cake for one of our friends who was celebrating her birthday during the wedding!
