We got married at Borgo Castelvecchi in July this year, and we still cannot get over how beautiful this location is!

We want to thank Barbara, Daniele and Sofia for being incredibly kind, flexible and providing the best service since day 1. During our wedding weekend we needed to make some adjustments; change the room list, add extra people to wine tasting, dinners and change the timing on the wedding day a bit. None of these points were any problem for Barbara, Sofia and Daniele. The staff saw solutions and made the changes without a hesitation. What we appreciate most is how friendly they were every day, and did not stress us as a wedding couple. They were professional and at the same time it felt like we knew them for a long time - we had some nice and funny moments together!

The food and wines were amazing. We travelled in Italy to different cities after the wedding, and we can truly say that the best food we had was at Borgo Castelvecchi! Many of our guests complimented the food we had, and especially the pizza and the dinner at the wedding day is hard to forget!

The location itself is charming, romantic and the pool area is perfect when it’s a bit warm. We loved that the Borgo could accommodate all of our guests! The views were breath taking! All the rooms were nice, clean and there were fans in all rooms.

On the wedding day, the ceremony was located in the garden and the dinner in front of the main area and the party on the terrace. We loved that there were 3 different spots (all next to each other), because it was perfect for each part of the big day.

We truly recommend Borgo Castelvecchi to everyone who is considering having their wedding there! Staff, food, wines, location, facilities and the rooms are perfect. It was better than we could ever imagine! We felt that we were guests on our wedding because the staff have such a good control on everything.

We are planning to visit Borgo Castelvecchi next summer, just to say hi to Barbara, Daniele and Sofia and have a glimpse of the place where we had the best days of our lives.

We had our wedding at Castelcecchi, and it was truly the most magical experience of our lives. We stayed for three days with our family and friends, and the time we spent together there will be treasured forever. From the moment we arrived to the final goodbye, everything was seamless and filled with joy.

Marta and Tom got married on September 27 in splendid Borgo Castelvecchi, an it has been absolutely magical! We were together when they chose the venue and we all fell in love with it.
From day one Barbara and Daniele were really helpful and responsive in helping Marta by giving her a list of known vendors as she has been her own wedding planner.
We have spent some special three days in Castelvecchi where we were all welcomed with great warmth. All the events have been perfectly organised, despite the crazy weather which has caused some last minute change of plans...all has been rearranged in a blink of an eye and seamlessly to make the day run smoothly.
The food was excellent thanks to Sofia and all her team!

I found Borgo Castelvecchi on Hitched and knew immediately it was the venue for us. We knew we wanted all of our guests to be able to stay on site, and this is a huge perk of Borgo Castelvecchi. We flew to Italy to view it (I booked one other viewing as a sense check but there was absolutely no need!) and our search was complete. It is beautiful and rustic and laid back. The main villa is absolutely stunning and no threat of rain could have stopped us from eating outside in front of the villa under the lights. Daniele, Barbara and Sofia are so amicable and helpful and easy to work with; I didn’t have a wedding planner so together we worked the schedule and finalised all the details - I couldn’t have done it without them, especially Sofia. All the feedback from our guests has been to praise the food - so thank you Sofia and Lorenzo! Finally, I recommend using Instagram to find suppliers (music, flowers, photographer) who have worked at Borgo Castelvecchi before as it totally streamlined that process - and they were all fantastic and lovely people. Jealous of all those looking for their wedding venues in Tuscany and encourage you to choose Borgo Castelvecchi! ❤️

My husband and I looked into 45 different wedding venues all over Italy. Borgo Castelvecchi stood out to us the most as it can host up to 100 guests. The property is private to you are your guests for the duration of your stay not only is it stunning you have also have pool. Barbara and Sofia made all our dreams come true. The food was outstanding not a single complaint from our guests. The rooms were perfect and spacious and if you needed apartment style rooms with kitchens they have that available to you. Barbara and Sofia also helped us with corresponding with local vendors and sourcing them as well. We would recommend Borgo Castelvecchi.

I cannot recommend Borgo Castlevecchi highly enough. Our wedding weekend was everything we could’ve wished for and more. Barbara was incredibly responsive from the word go, always there to reply to questions on email or WhatsApp. The wedding itself ran incredibly smoothly. The catering supplied by Borgo Castlevecchi was very efficient and also incredibly delicious, our guests keep talking now about how great the food was! We stayed at Borgo Castlevecchi for four nights with our guests staying somewhere between two and four nights also, being able to have the place to ourselves felt like we had our own little village which made the whole weekend incredibly special. We spent the days hanging out by the pool, eating in the courtyard and having a wonderful, wonderful time. I honestly want to go back and do it all again, there is nothing that I would change. We visited Tuscany in 2023 to explore wedding venues, and the moment we saw Borgo Castelvecchi, we knew it was the one. The charm, the views, the atmosphere – it was exactly what we imagined for our wedding. Our 3-day celebration there was nothing short of perfect. The team was incredibly supportive and passionate about what they do, and it truly showed in every detail. All of our 70 guests, including children, were able to stay on-site comfortably, which made the whole experience even more special.

A huge thank you also to Sofia, Lorenzo, and the entire team at Ristorante Castelvecchi. From the welcome pizza party to the wedding dinner and light lunch, everything was absolutely delicious. They were so flexible and thoughtful – my husband is vegetarian and they made sure we had plenty of great veggie options throughout the entire stay. They even organized a birthday cake for one of our friends who was celebrating her birthday during the wedding!

Wow! I can’t say thank you enough to all the amazing team at Castelvecchi for making our wedding the best 2-days of our lives - a special mention to Barbara and Daniele for being so accommodating and being there every step of the way! There was plenty of food for everyone, so much so that we couldn’t eat it all! The guests enjoyed it all, especially the desserts and the big tiramisu which acted as our ‘wedding cake!’ Our wedding was so special and the beauty of the venue and the people who work there speaks for itself. We had wine tasting and a Tuscan BBQ the night before the wedding and then the wedding day itself consisted of a pool party, a light lunch, the ceremony, aperitif, an incredible dinner and a fantastic party! All the guests said it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to and although it was my own and I may be biased - I have to agree! If your dream is to get married in Tuscany with incredible wine and food and the most beautiful surroundings - please look no further. I would recommend this venue to anyone. The value for money is brilliant - much better than the UK and the service/contact we had with the venue itself was fantastic. Borgo Castelvecchi holds such a special place in our hearts. The most magical weekend celebrating our wedding! We truly cannot recommend Borgo Castelvecchi enough to anyone dreaming of a Tuscan wedding. From start to finish, Barbara, Sofia, Daniele, and the entire team were warm, welcoming, and incredibly supportive with every detail.

As an English couple planning from abroad, we had limited opportunities to meet suppliers in person. The team went above and beyond, not only helping us find amazing local vendors but also managing every aspect seamlessly. Their flexibility and dedication meant that any issues were quickly resolved, and they worked tirelessly to bring our vision to life.

The venue itself is breathtaking, full of character, charm, and surrounded by stunning scenery. The winery tour was a wonderful bonus for our guests; many enjoyed it so much they even bought bottles to take home after tasting the wines throughout our celebration. The nearby village is absolutely worth a visit too; it’s quaint, picturesque, and a must-stop for ice cream and pastries at Bar Sampoli. 😍

We kicked off the weekend with a pizza party on the first night, which was an absolute hit. The team took care of everything, serving up fresh pizzas from their traditional oven, each one delicious and not short on options. The chocolate dessert pizza in particular the kids adored!

The winery on tour was a great bonus for our guests who enjoyed a look around, and returned to purchase bottles to take home after enjoying it so much during our wedding day. The near by village is well worth a visit, quaint with incredible views and an absolute must to visit Bar Sampoli for their ice cream and pastries 😍

We had our wedding at Castelcechhi across three days from Friday - Sunday on the weekend on the 20th June 2025. The whole experience, from organising the venue logistics, rooming allocations for all our guests and everything else with Daniele and Barbara to the most organised and well run delivery of the food and catering managed by Sofia has been exceptional.

We had 70 guests spend three nights with us to celebrate our wedding and it felt like a dream. The venue is absolutely stunning and we were able to use so many different areas (courtyard, front of villa, terrace party area) for every aspect of our wedding.

We had a Pizza Party for our Welcome dinner, our wedding outside under the shade of the villa and stars in the evening and a relaxed pool party and BBQ on the Sunday.

We honestly couldn't of asked for anything more from this venue, the staff are so friendly, welcoming and flexible - allowing you to really make the weekend feel like you are living in a dream and able to achieve anything you want.
