We had the most incredible wedding weekend at Agriturismo Antiche Dimore di Poggianto. We fell in love with the secluded Tuscan farmhouse setting, the beautiful views, and the charming accommodation across the property — it felt perfectly relaxed and very classic Italian.

Marina and Davide were amazing throughout the entire process. Communication was always easy, they were incredibly helpful recommending vendors, and so supportive of our own ideas. By the time we met them in person, it felt like seeing old friends.

The food was absolutely fantastic — from the welcome BBQ to the wedding meal and pizzas by the pool on Sunday. Our wedding cake was a giant tiramisu, which everyone loved! Davide also helped us choose the wine for the weekend, and they catered brilliantly for dietary requirements, including a vegan menu using vegetables grown on-site.

Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful the venue was and how relaxed the whole weekend felt. Marina and Davide created such a warm, welcoming atmosphere while still giving us space to enjoy everything at our own pace. We would recommend this venue without hesitation - it was absolutely perfect

The wedding was absolutely beautiful! We did not have a lot of time to plan (less than 6 months) and all accomodations were easily made to our preference. Marina was very professional and always very available and was extremely detailed. The venue is perfect for the Tuscan wedding of your dreams!

While planning my wedding in Tuscany, I read a million reviews before landing on Agriturismo Poggianto. Often, the reviews would say, that the guests arrived as strangers and left as family. I thought it to be an over-embellished description for a review's sake. Now that I have experienced it, I understand. We did in fact, arrive as strangers and left with a week of fond memories and love in our hearts for our hosts, Davide and Marina.

I was traveling from the US and have never been to Italy and pretty nervous about planning a wedding from so far away. Our stay and wedding were nothing short of magical. The view from the top of the hill on which the villa sits is breathtaking and kind attention from Marina and Davide made us feel right at home. The villas were clean and well equipped. The pool was also clean and refreshing in the hot summer sun. We were a little worried it would be too warm in the villa in August without air conditioners, but the thick stone walls kept it cool and the breeze every evening was perfect. Marina and Davide introduced us to a wedding planner who helped us plan the details of the wedding and made sure our guests were well taken care of. I highly suggest the Tagliatelle with Wild Boar sauce if you are also considering a wedding here.

We opted for the arrival dinner. This was a excellent decision. We were tired from a long nearly 20 hours of travel and on our arrival, Davide had cold water, excellent local wine, and a meat and cheese spread. The food and drink were replenished again and again as our guests arrived. We sat under the shaded restaurant patio overlooking a breathtaking vista of the ancient town across the valley. Marina and Davide welcomed us like old friends and welcomed us in.

We choose this location for a few reasons. The view (did not disappoint), owner experience with weddings, reviews, opportunity for community, and value. We had a limited budget but didn’t want to sacrifice our dream. Not only was the week spent at the villa and touring the region incredible, but our wedding day was also nothing short of magical.

Marina and Davide were warm, attentive, and flexible. The truly wanted to do anything in their power to make our experience everything we dreamed it to be starting with several video chats for initial planning. They connected me with their wedding planner, Patricia, who easily and patiently attended to every detail and stayed in constant communication.

The accommodations were clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable. There were plenty of kitchen items to cook for yourself and nearby grocery for supplies. The pool was clean and refreshing in the hot summer sun. Most nights, we opted for dinner at the villa. It was convenient and delicious. The tiramisu was the best we have ever had (and we’ve had a lot!). We left with Davide’s recipe.

We had a great experience and can’t wait to get back. We hope to get back to Italy again and stay again at Agriturismo Poggianto.

Marina and Davide are the perfect hosts. It was a pleasure to meet them and to be introduced to real Tuscan lifestyle. They served us gorgeous meals and delicious wines and entertained and helped. The flats are comfortable and well equipped. The whole area is beautiful and the view on the Tuscan countryside is stunning.

We were at DIMORE DI POGGIANTO for our marriage, we were warmly welcomed and the team there carried out a brilliant job, meeting all our expections and leaving our 40 people group very satisfied. We really could not have asked for more, the place is wonderful with an unforgettable view from the panoramic lodge, the food is excellent and the apartments large and comfortable.

We recommend this place absolutely and we promised we’d be back for one of our first anniversary.

We rent the Agriturismo Poggianto for our wedding. The location itself is stunning with a beautiful view all over Tuscany. The accomodations are clean, typically furnished and comfortable to sleep and stay. The owners Marina and Davide are the most lovely and helpful people ever! Both were helping planing our wedding with their whole heart and genuinely wanted us to have a wonderful time. They tried to realize every wish or detail. Due to their amazing cooking skills, love and organisation, we and our guests had a wonderful weekend. We would definetly recommend it as a location where you can celebrate with the Italian spirit or just come for a relaxing holiday in nature! For our 25th anniversary, we invited 30 friends/family for a relaxed informal celebration weekend. It was over and above expectations; the location, the facilities (restaurant, apartments, pool etc.), the hospitality and support from Marina, Davide and their great team, and not least the fantastic simple/homemade food and drinks (apero, drinks by the pool, barbecue, dinner, prosecco, wines, grappa etc.).

I was there for my friends wedding. Fantastic place. The owners were very nice and accommodating. The pool was refreshing and clean the bedrooms were clean and plenty of room. The views were beautiful and relaxing.

We celebrated our wedding at this wonderful holiday home in the heart of Tuscany, and it was the perfect choice! The house can accommodate up to 55 people, and we had the entire property exclusively for ourselves, making it an unforgettable experience.

The house consists of several small apartments, which provided our guests with plenty of privacy and comfort while still allowing us to celebrate together. We would particularly like to highlight the hosts, Marina and Davide. They fulfilled every wish and supported us in all our plans. Not only did they offer excellent advice when selecting local vendors, but they also gave us the freedom to use our own, which was greatly appreciated.

One highlight of our stay was the pasta class that we were eager to do with our guests. Marina made this happen as well, and it was a fantastic experience for everyone!

On the wedding day itself, Marina and Davide prepared our wedding dinner, which was absolutely delicious. We are especially grateful that they accommodated vegan diet with special adjustments to the meal. Their warmth and professionalism allowed us to focus entirely on our guests and our wedding, without worrying about any organizational details.

Unlike other places, Marina and Davide genuinely made us feel like valued guests rather than just another source of profit. Their dedication to ensuring we had the best experience possible was evident in every interaction, and it truly set them apart.

What a fantastic choice!
Both myself and my (now) husband are both from the UK, and when trying to organise any wedding it is hard, let alone when it's in Italy!
Both Marina & David were fantastic, they helped from start to finish even though we would never expect them to. From assisting with formal paperwork, sourcing vendors and being incredibly responsive from the start. It felt we had know them both for ages!
The property is beautiful and accommodated all guests (the rooms were very spacious) & everyone was super happy and complimented the venue continuously. The pool was also perfect for those hot days with a glass of fizz.
We had a BBQ the night before the wedding and a pizza party the night after, and honestly we could not fault it.
David is a very talented chef and the food was so good everyone left so full!
Both Marina and David cannot be faulted, they were always there if we needed anything, and were lots of fun too! The wedding went so smoothly and with such fantastic scenery, you really cannot complain.

We celebrated our special day at Marina’s place on 25th May, surrounded by family and friends, and we couldn’t have chosen a better venue for our wedding. Agriturismo Dimore Di Pogianto is a piece of heaven situated in the Tuscan hills. It offers breathtaking postcard-worthy views, tranquility, and an exclusive, secluded setting that delighted all of our guests during their three-night stay.

The accommodation for our guests was very spacious, clean, and equipped with everything we needed. The property is huge, with beautifully well-kept gardens and various gathering spots, including a BBQ area, and a well-maintained pool that kept the kids entertained while the parents enjoyed a glass of the most delicious wine in Italy, recommended by Davide, of course. For those who extended their stay into a holiday, the beautiful locations of Tuscany, such as Florence, Siena, Pisa, San Gimignano and Arezzo, were just a stone’s throw away.

Organizing a wedding from the UK in Italy seemed daunting, but Marina and Davide made it incredibly easy. Marina ensured everything ran smoothly, from getting the right paperwork to reserving the municipality in Laterina for our civil service, handling translations, communicating with the DJ on our behalf, ordering the cake and flowers, and arranging for photos at La Rocca Castle after the ceremony. And let's not forget the food. To this day, our guests are still talking about the wild boar ragu pasta that Davide prepared, among other superb dishes, and the Grappa that Davide served to get the party started. Absolutely delicious.

It's hard to find a place that caters to everyone’s needs, but Agriturismo Dimore Di Pogianto can and will. Marina is a woman of her word, and she delivered everything she promised and more, exceeding our expectations. Thank you so much, Marina and Davide, for making us feel like family, for looking after our friends and family so well, and for ensuring that our day was the most special. We shall return!
