We celebrated the wedding of our dreams here from September 4th to 6th, and it could not have been any better. Marina and her husband Davide are extraordinarily warm, attentive, and supportive hosts who made us and our guests feel so welcome from the moment we arrived.
​On Friday, all 37 of our guests arrived and we kicked off the weekend with a relaxed "White Party" and delicious local pizza (self organized). Saturday morning was lovely and laid-back, with most people enjoying the pool before the official wedding program began at 2:00 PM.
​The ceremony itself featured an unbelievable, sweeping view of the Tuscan scenery (See picture). Afterward, we moved to the other side of the main house by the pool for Prosecco and cake. The organization and decoration throughout the entire day were flawless.
Dinner started at 5:30 PM, and the food was outstanding—even the vegetarian options were a huge hit with everyone.
​The evening celebration was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The atmosphere was vibrant, and celebrating under the stars with our favorite people was truly unforgettable. We danced until midnight, then turned the music down slightly to enjoy great company outside for some more hours.
​On Sunday, as guests gradually departed, we stayed an extra night to relax, pack up, and help tidy without any rush.
This is an absolute dream location with exceptional hosts. 100% worth every penny!

I don’t even know where to begin with this review because nothing will do Marina, Davide and the stunning Agriturismo justice. I would recommend this venue 10000 times over for a wedding, an event or just a family holiday. We rented the entire property for a number of days and we genuinely had the most incredible experience and our wedding day really was the best day of our lives. Marina and Davide are so kind and helpful and made our stay so easy, their communication in the months leading up to our wedding was so reassuring and easy and they had helpful tips and ideas that enhanced our wedding by a mile. They go above and beyond to ensure you have the most amazing time. Davide even drove out during our wedding reception to buy some tobacco for guests who had run out! They felt like an integral part of our wedding experience and it wouldn’t have been as fantastic without them.

As for the location itself, IT IS STUNNING. The views are absolutely incredible, we placed our ceremony in front of the gorgeous rolling Tuscan hills. The stone building in front of the courtyard with he hanging festoon lights is what we’d always dreamt of for our wedding dinner and when we went to visit the venue earlier in the year, I cried when I arrived and saw it in person. The photos do it no justice, it is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. You have to visit it to see what we saw.
The rooms are all wonderfully equipped with whatever you need, we have a two year old and he was also well catered for with high chairs, cots etc.
We could honestly just go on and on we couldn’t recommend this place enough!!

What a place! We were lucky enough to choose here to get married. The event was planned for an entire weekend. We were drawn in by the location, setting, value for money, but mostly by the owner. She was simply outstanding, reaching a wonderful mix of professionalism and personalism. That is to say that she didn’t allow the professional aspects to overbear the relationship - you can expect the key details to be organised well, but also some fun bumpiness and flexibility in the minor or less important details. This was perfect for us as a chilled out, ‘do it yourself’ kind of couple. We also enjoyed a raft of practical and pragmatic solutions to our requests, such as bringing your own alcohol, total customisation of food choices, decorations, room layouts… the list goes on. This extended to the execution on the big day. Nothing was a problem and both owners (a couple) flexed the programme in the background, sought guidance at the right time with big decisions and couldn’t do more for us to make it all work. All of our guests thoroughly enjoyed the venue and we did too. But most importantly, we were so happy that we could share our special occasion with the owners and their staff, and we will without doubt stay in touch with them in the future.

We honestly had the most incredible time! Davide and Marina were the best hosts and couldn’t have done anything more to make our daughter’s wedding and our stay any better! It was honestly perfect!

Our stay, as well as the stay of all our family and friends, was absolutely impeccable.
Everyone was extremely professional, kind, and attentive to everything we needed throughout the entire experience.

All the food was wonderful. We booked the pizza dinner, the wedding buffet, and the breakfasts, and everything was simply divine.

The venue itself was beautiful, and all the rooms were clean, organized, and very well equipped. Without a doubt, we chose the perfect place to celebrate our wedding.

We will always remember this stay with great affection and gratitude, and we are truly thankful for everything you did for us.

We had the most incredible wedding weekend at Agriturismo Antiche Dimore di Poggianto. We fell in love with the secluded Tuscan farmhouse setting, the beautiful views, and the charming accommodation across the property — it felt perfectly relaxed and very classic Italian.

Marina and Davide were amazing throughout the entire process. Communication was always easy, they were incredibly helpful recommending vendors, and so supportive of our own ideas. By the time we met them in person, it felt like seeing old friends.

The food was absolutely fantastic — from the welcome BBQ to the wedding meal and pizzas by the pool on Sunday. Our wedding cake was a giant tiramisu, which everyone loved! Davide also helped us choose the wine for the weekend, and they catered brilliantly for dietary requirements, including a vegan menu using vegetables grown on-site.

Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful the venue was and how relaxed the whole weekend felt. Marina and Davide created such a warm, welcoming atmosphere while still giving us space to enjoy everything at our own pace. We would recommend this venue without hesitation - it was absolutely perfect

Simply the best choiche for an unforgetable day. We had perfect organization and assistance from the team, and with their excellent work we experienced our most beautiful day. It was much more than we expected.

The wedding was absolutely beautiful! We did not have a lot of time to plan (less than 6 months) and all accomodations were easily made to our preference. Marina was very professional and always very available and was extremely detailed. The venue is perfect for the Tuscan wedding of your dreams!

Our daughter and son in law held their special wedding here and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The hosts are absolutely superb and so helpful, the accommodation is clean and comfortable and the food and service were top quality. It’s like you’re hosting a party in a typical
Italian home but with lots of class and glamour, stunning views and facilities

We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect place to get married. From the breathtaking surroundings to the beautiful venue itself, everything was simply magical. All of our guests were blown away by the charm and beauty of the Tuscan landscape—it truly felt like a dream.

The service was flawless from start to finish. Marina and Davi, the wonderful owners, went above and beyond to make sure every detail of our wedding weekend was perfect. Their warmth, attentiveness, and clear communication made planning so easy and enjoyable.

The food was absolutely delicious—authentic, fresh, and beautifully presented. It was a true highlight for us and our guests!

We feel so lucky to have celebrated our wedding in such a stunning place, cared for by such thoughtful and professional hosts. Highly, highly recommend. We will definitely be back to celebrate our anniversary at some point!

We couldn’t recommend Marina and Davide enough. They were helpful throughout the whole planning process. Over the weekend they were very flexible and response to our requests. The food was amazing, the venue was stunning. We can’t wait to return! All of our friends and family have been blown away by the whole weekend. We can’t thank you enough, David and Georgia.

While planning my wedding in Tuscany, I read a million reviews before landing on Agriturismo Poggianto. Often, the reviews would say, that the guests arrived as strangers and left as family. I thought it to be an over-embellished description for a review's sake. Now that I have experienced it, I understand. We did in fact, arrive as strangers and left with a week of fond memories and love in our hearts for our hosts, Davide and Marina.

I was traveling from the US and have never been to Italy and pretty nervous about planning a wedding from so far away. Our stay and wedding were nothing short of magical. The view from the top of the hill on which the villa sits is breathtaking and kind attention from Marina and Davide made us feel right at home. The villas were clean and well equipped. The pool was also clean and refreshing in the hot summer sun. We were a little worried it would be too warm in the villa in August without air conditioners, but the thick stone walls kept it cool and the breeze every evening was perfect. Marina and Davide introduced us to a wedding planner who helped us plan the details of the wedding and made sure our guests were well taken care of. I highly suggest the Tagliatelle with Wild Boar sauce if you are also considering a wedding here.

We opted for the arrival dinner. This was a excellent decision. We were tired from a long nearly 20 hours of travel and on our arrival, Davide had cold water, excellent local wine, and a meat and cheese spread. The food and drink were replenished again and again as our guests arrived. We sat under the shaded restaurant patio overlooking a breathtaking vista of the ancient town across the valley. Marina and Davide welcomed us like old friends and welcomed us in.

We choose this location for a few reasons. The view (did not disappoint), owner experience with weddings, reviews, opportunity for community, and value. We had a limited budget but didn’t want to sacrifice our dream. Not only was the week spent at the villa and touring the region incredible, but our wedding day was also nothing short of magical.

Marina and Davide were warm, attentive, and flexible. The truly wanted to do anything in their power to make our experience everything we dreamed it to be starting with several video chats for initial planning. They connected me with their wedding planner, Patricia, who easily and patiently attended to every detail and stayed in constant communication.

The accommodations were clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable. There were plenty of kitchen items to cook for yourself and nearby grocery for supplies. The pool was clean and refreshing in the hot summer sun. We were a little worried it would be too warm in the villa in August without air conditioners, but the thick stone walls kept it cool and the breeze every evening was perfect. Most nights, we opted for dinner at the villa. It was convenient and delicious. The tiramisu was the best we have ever had (and we’ve had a lot!). We left with Davide’s recipe.

We had a great experience and can’t wait to get back. We hope to get back to Italy again and stay again at Agriturismo Poggianto.

We had a dream wedding event with all our friends and families at this beautiful venue and spent there a great time.
Marina and Davide are the perfect hosts. It was a pleasure to meet them and to be introduced to real Tuscan lifestyle. They served us gorgeous meals and delicious wines and entertained and helped. The flats are comfortable and well equipped. The whole area is beautiful and the view on the Tuscan countryside is stunning.

We were at DIMORE DI POGGIANTO for our marriage, we were warmly welcomed and the team there carried out a brilliant job, meeting all our expections and leaving our 40 people group very satisfied. We really could not have asked for more, the place is wonderful with an unforgettable view from the panoramic lodge, the food is excellent and the apartments large and comfortable.

We recommend this place absolutely and we promised we’d be back for one of our first anniversary.

We rent the Agriturismo Poggianto for our wedding. The location itself is stunning with a beautiful view all over Tuscany. The accomodations are clean, typically furnished and comfortable to sleep and stay. The owners Marina and Davide are the most lovely and helpful people ever! Both were helping planing our wedding with their whole heart and genuinely wanted us to have a wonderful time. They tried to realize every wish or detail. Due to their amazing cooking skills, love and organisation, we and our guests had a wonderful weekend. We would definetly recommend it as a location where you can celebrate with the Italian spirit or just come for a relaxing holiday in nature! Communication was easy, details were beautiful and the nature is magnificent! We recommend it for everyone dearly
