The charming courtyard, complete with its elegant fountain, reflects the character of the original farm buildings dating back to 1884, adding a touch of history and romance to your day.
Whether you dream of an intimate celebration or a grand affair, our venue can accommodate up to 150 guests for your ceremony and wedding breakfast, and up to 200 for your evening reception. With breathtaking views and timeless elegance, Cottesmore is the perfect place to begin your forever.

Getting Ready Prep Room
Start your day in style in our luxurious Getting Ready Room, designed for comfort, convenience and lots of smiles!
Features include:
- 5 make-up stations with mirrors and hairdryers
- A spacious dressing area with hooks for bridal gowns, dresses or wedding suits
- Full-length mirror, hand basin and a cozy sofa with coffee table
- Portable Bluetooth speaker for those all-important tunes
- Handheld steamer

🥂Drinks Reception
Our charming courtyard makes the perfect setting for sipping a chilled flute of bubbly or glass of summer Pimms and sampling our delicious canapés. Your own private vintage Horsebox bar will be open to serve your guests drinks before and after your wedding ceremony. It is also a great place for memorable photos and that all important confetti shot.
🍴Wedding Breakfast
Our Challis suite has been designed with a contemporary feel in mind. It is adorned with mirrors, chandelier lights with light wooden floors and a calming interior. Floor to ceiling windows overlook our French styled courtyard complete with original fountain. The Bar is in the same room, which is high up on everyone's wish list and open until 12.30am.

The Best Day!
Wedding review
There were just a couple of minor things we weren’t entirely happy with…
The wedding coordinators had said the getting ready room wouldn’t be open until 9am. So times were a little tight for my makeup artist as she had 5 makeup’s to do. They wouldn’t let her in slightly earlier to even set up quietly so she was ready for 9am. However we did respect this rule.
But on the day the receptionist opened the getting ready room at 8:30am which was great.. but would have been nice to have known earlier so the make up artist could have set up and been ready earlier. Also conflicting since we had been told a firm no on it being open before 9am…
One other thing was the evening food was not labelled and so our guests weren’t sure on the allergy advice. Therefore not much food was eaten.
However despite these small things, we had a gorgeous wedding day and I would recommend getting married here :)
Review of Cottesmore Golf & Country Club - Wedding Venue
We chose to stay the night before with close family & friends which was lovely.
Jackie & Julie were great from our initial meeting until the end of our special day. They were great with communicating with us throughout & really knowledgeable & friendly.
Accommodation was lovely & having a balcony meant we could pop in & chat with our bridesmaids & friends which was so special.
All the food we had was lovely & bar staff & waiting staff were professional & genuinely looked happy for us!
The 'Getting Ready Room' was a lovely touch & again meant I could spend precious time with my bridesmaids before the service & friends could come & see me before the service for a little cry.
So many of our guests commented on how lovely the venue was & having the interconnecting doors for each of the three rooms was great - another big plus.
Cost-wise this venue was cheaper than others we had looked at & certainly delivered! We would both 100% recommend this venue for others.
