I couldn’t recommend the Cottesmore more for an all day wedding venue. We had our ceremony and reception here and the day ran so smoothly with so many staff members there to help at all times.

I believe the value for money is amazing for how much food and alcohol our 93 guests got during the day. Constant smiles all day and no one was dissapointed.

Jackie and Julie in the events team were extremely responsive and helpful whenever we needed any help or to answer any of my many questions leading up to the day!

Luke, the bar manager, was amazing and even set out tables up the night before so our wedding morning was stress free.

What a great venue , from the initial call to the actual day! Complete professionalism from Jackie and Julie , nothing was an issue and plans were made without any problems. we were invited for a lovely tasting evening so we could decide on food and drink , any special requests were dealt with and any allergies catered for . Kerry in reservations dealt with all room bookings and looked after our guests .
On the day everyone remaked how lovely the food was , timings were spot on and the evening flowed with no issues at all. Rooms are beautiful and the breakfast is superb!
We would recommend this venue to any couple .

Julie and Jackie and the entire Events team at Cottesmore were brilliant. From the initial planning stages, they were responsive and supportive of all our wishes and gave us plenty of helpful suggestions, which took all the stress out of the planning such a big important event.

On the wedding day, Julie was so efficient at making sure everything was perfect and did everything to ensure our day was everything that we could could’ve hoped for!

We opted to have a winter wedding, but this was not a problem as the event space was very able to accommodate our guests inside as it was a very cold day. Despite this, we did still get to use the gorgeous Courtyard for our photos, as needed.

The catering staff on the day were very professional and made our guests feel so at ease and catered to all our dietary needs.

The food and drink provided was outstanding and we feel that this venue was very good value for money.

Cottesmore was simply the dream choice for our wedding reception for many reasons: its beauty and dreamy, lush outdoor greens and lake, the professionalism and flexibility of the events team, their comprehensive wedding package and catering and finally its surprising affordability in comparison to all the other venues in Sussex which we explored!!

As a bride who had an eye for detail; wanting a beautiful venue, great food and ample space for our guests to have privacy and yet enjoy a good party: I will certainly recommend Cottesmore!! The accommodation, recreational and spa facilities available were an added bonus and hugely complimented by our out of town guests.

Also the value of a supportive events team can never be overemphasised!! Jackie and Julie were exceptionally great at anticipating and meeting our needs! Nothing was too much for them! There were No hidden costs or terms and conditions set to catch the couple out!! (Something very common with other wedding venues!!). The couples needs were at the fore of every support provided!

We loved having our wedding here! The events coordinators are fantastic and all of the team here are lovely and thoughtful which really made our day special. This beautiful venue has a relaxed and characterful ambience. You can choose to get married inside or outside, we chose inside and it was an outstanding venue. We loved riding on a buggy to the lake for private photos. The food was fantastic with amazing feedback from our guests. We love the courtyard for private pre and post wedding drinks where there are also the hotel rooms for the guests. Overall, we can't recommend this venue enough and hope many more couples enjoy their wedding here.

Cottesmore is a fantastic venue, which allowed us to have the perfect wedding. We had 150 guests with many of them staying on site, which was important for us. The venue has 25 rooms (B&B) and 7 self-cateted lodges. Our guests (and us) were very happy with the cleaniness and quality of the accommodation. The room itself remained spacious with 150 guests with ample room for more people. The event room is a great asset to Cottesmore, having the bar, tables and dancefloor in one room means, less splitting up of guests in the day for maximum interaction between everyone. The bar is well stocked with reasonable prices. Prior to the day, the events team helped us plan the details and bring the day to life. This included help with arranging the accommodation, food/meal choices, an area for the coaches to park which took our guests to the church and back, courtyard drinks, etc. The flexibility of the venue meant we could have confetti cannons in the courtyard and shot as a 'sip and sit' as guests took their seats. The food and beverage team were incredibly helpful on the day and ensured that all welcome drinks were ready for our guests, shots for the sip and sit, wine, water and toasts for the speeches and wedding breakfast. They were on hand all evening to ensure quick service at the bar too. Overall, we honestly couldn't have asked for more from Cottesmore as a venue, plus it's hard working staff. I would highly recommend having your special day at Cottesmore.

Me and my husband had our wedding here back In September it was the most amazing day, Cottesmore was out first choice out of 3 venues that we had looked at for our wedding, Jackie and Julie were fantastic, responsive, reliable and great customer service all of our guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to, I would highly reccomend this venue

From start to finish Cottesmore were excellent. Their pricing was very reasonable compared to other venues that we looked at and as it is a family run business, everyone is so friendly and it feels like they genuinely care about your big day. Jackie and Julie were always very responsive - guaranteed replies within a few hours and accommodated most of our requests with no questions asked! The wine and food tasting ahead of the big day felt very special and allowed us to get excited for our big day as the food is beautifully presented. Our guests commented on how convenient the venue is, given the availability of over 20 hotel rooms on site which is not always the case for other venues that are in the middle of no-where. We had the best day and whilst we are sad that it's over, we know that we can go back at anytime to visit and to enjoy a lovely hotel stay. Thanks to all of the team at Cottesmore for our beautiful wedding in August.

From our very first show round to our perfect day Julie and Jackie were absolutely incredible. No question was too big or small. All the big and small details were organised to perfection. The staff on the day were amazing and there from start to finish. Cottesmore is the most beautiful venue and we would recommend it to anyone over and over again.

The whole experience from start to finish was truly amazing can’t thank everyone enough for their help and guidance through the whole wedding process. Everything was so much more than I expected or could have hoped for from everyone and if I did it all again I would do exactly the same.

We recently got married and honestly just the most lovely perfect venue. We were blessed with great weather on our day too! All staff are amazing so friendly and this venue has the views, amazing scenery to get married outside or a lovely barn room to get married inside, just everything you need :) sad its over!

We got married here in August 2024 and to say it was completely perfect & incredible would be a complete understatement! Our day was everything & more than we could have ever imagined. The entire team at Cottesmore went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly & they completely aced it. If I could re do my day with them over and over I really would.
The entire time are so amazing and kind. The food is absolutely unreal and the whole venue itself is just absolutely stunning. Il never be able to thank them enough for making our dream day come true and I will recommend Cottesmore 24/7 as loud as I can from the rooftops they are that amazing!

From first enquiry at Cottesmore when we got engaged in 2021 through to the day itself in 2024, we cannot fault Cottesmore for their exceptional service. Julie and Jackie are an absolute credit to the venue and were helpful beyond belief. They answered everyone of our questions via email promptly and nothing was ever too much trouble. We had viewings with them around the venue on multiple occassions to help see how our wedding would come together, which was immensly helpful in the planning stages. The staff we had at our wedding menu tasting were so professional and welcoming, that we actually requested if they could work on the day of our wedding. Which they did and it was so great to see them there! The menu tasting itself was excellent, every dish beautifully presented and incredibly delicious. The meeting with Julie a few months before the day to discuss every element was extremely helpful. It allowed us to make sure we had covered all areas and that the venue knew everything we would like to happen and to be at our wedding. This extra layer of communication really put our minds at rest that our wedding was in the safest of hands. On the day every member of staff our guests and ourselves met were so impressed with their professionalism and kindness. We had so many guests telling us how impressed they were with the venue. Setting up on the morning of the wedding and the evening before was simple and easy, the venue allowing us to get on and get access to all areas we required around any other events happening there at the time. The hotel on site is such an added bonus and the staff in the Accommodations team were extremely helpful when trying to book in our guests. Being able to stay onsite and have everything we needed there kept the stress of planning to a minimum. They were super helpful with accommodating outside suppliers, such as the hiring of outdoor games and an ice cream tricycle in the courtyard. The venue itself is just beautiful, inside and out. With new improvements being added and made all the time to make it one of the best looking venues in West Sussex. It was the first one we viewed after we got engaged and there was nowhere else that we loved as much. It is excellent value for money and we actually spent less on the wedding overall than we had originally budgeted for! We really cannot fault Cottesmore and would reccommend them to any other couple looking for a high end wedding venue that covers all elements!

We would recommend Cottesmore as a venue, the events team were so helpful and were happy to help at any stage of the planning and day. The barn room and wedding breakfast room were lovely and the courtyard was great with the outside bar, even in the summer rain showers. The accommodation rooms were comfy, a good size and so lovely to be able to have guests stay and then see them in the morning. The food was exceptional, from the canapés, wedding breakfast, evening hot food and then breakfast the next day. We loved our day and would say you would have a wonderful wedding experience if you chose this venue.
