The most incredible wedding venue

We are so pleased that we picked The Barn at Pengelly for our special day. Leading up to the wedding, the staff were incredible and made the planning feel so stress free with their regular check ins and open communication. We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding coordinator in the build up and on the day. Lauren was incredible and made everything run so smoothly on the day, ensuring that all the little touches we had planned were delivered seamlessly. Her calming presence was so reassuring and her excitement and interest in our wedding made us feel so valued.

The venue was simply perfect. We lucked out with the weather so were fortunate to be able to hold our ceremony outside, but felt reassured that we could move it indoors if the weather changed last minute. The grounds were so beautiful and perfectly landscaped. We loved everything from the lakes, the grand steps, the wedding swing and the palm trees, all of which provided the best backdrop for our wedding photos. We were spoiled for choice! We loved the extra little touches that the venue had, including love letters and charger plates to hire, a fire pit for toasting marshmallows, and ample space inside the venue which we filled with our band, Photo Booth and casino tables. The place was so spacious yet provided the best atmosphere for us and our guests to party all evening.

We wish we could do the day all over again. Thank you again to all of the team at The Barn at Pengelly and we highly recommend this venue!

Incredible

There are not enough amazing words to describe how utterly remarkable the team are, at Pengelly Barn. Throughout the process of booking, planning and experiencing our wedding, every member of the team have been outrageously wonderful. Queries were answered promptly, no question was too big or small… Catherin, our co-ordinator, effortlessly matched our attitude to our wedding day. She was relaxed, but at the same time, completely ‘on it’, which meant that we could completely relax and soak up our amazing day. All of the team are so approachable and friendly and cannot do enough for you. They took so much worry/concern out of our hands, and with pleasure! The venue speaks for itself, and our guests were all absolutely thrilled with their accommodation. It was such an amazing experience, to have the venue for two days because we enjoyed a gathering the night before at the Cottages and our guests were able to meet and connect before the wedding day, which made such a difference to the energy and vibe on the day. There is really nothing negative to say about our experience with Pengelly Barn and would wholeheartedly recommend them over, and over again. Thank you so much for everything that you did to make our day the best of our lives. Love Jade and Daniel x

Beautiful venue with incredible staff!

Our day was truly perfect thanks to this venue and the amazing team that run it. It is so beautiful and the on-site accommodation was amazing too. The staff were so helpful in the run up and were incredible on the day - cannot recommend this venue and team enough!

Our Wedding

The most amazing and seamless wedding thanks to the incredible staff. The venue is beautiful and it felt like we were in a fairytale. The day flowed perfectly, the staff are so helpful and keep you informed of exactly what is going on. I wish we could do the day all over again. We felt like we had a really expensive wedding but it was so reasonably priced even with the extras such as prosecco to toast and the accommodation.

The best possible wedding venue!

We can't thank the team at Pengelly enough! The venue is stunning (even when it rains all day like it did for us), but the team went above and beyond. It was a totally stress-free day and we loved every second of it! Everything about this venue and team is perfect, we would recommend them over and over again!

Wedding weekend

We had the most amazing wedding weekend at Pengelly. From the first meeting through to the checkout day they were brilliant, friendly, nothing was too much trouble and the venue is incredible.

The most perfect place for the most perfect day

I don't really know where to start!? Thank you isn't really enough.
We had the most perfect day, it was beautiful in every single way and I know that without a doubt this was down to the Pengelly and the Team. Everything was seamless, calm and just complete perfection.

Lauren, the venue manager was immensely calm, professional and organised, nothing was too much bother. She made me feel like getting married was easy, I am truly grateful.

From the most glorious grounds to the cottages where we had the most wonderful time getting ready, to the amazing attentive team on the big day.

I have had so much phenomenal feedback from our guests, many saying it was the best wedding the have ever been to. It was completely faultless.

Thank you to all at Pengelly, so, so much for enabling us to have the day of our dreams.

Amazing venue

We can’t thank the girls enough, especially Emily who went above and beyond for us. The barn was the only venue we visited and we set a date straight away as we knew it was the perfect venue for us. On the run up to the wedding Emily was on point and so helpful with everything! The staff on the day were amazing and made sure everything ran smoothly (even though I was running late)
I would also like to say thank you to Lauren who gave me a shot of tequila to settle my nerves as I was about to walk down the isle! These girls are a credit to the Barn at Pengelly!

We cannot express how amazing our wedding was! From the moment we booked this venue to the day we got married everything was incredible. Watching this venue grow from when we booked in 2022 to our wedding day on 20th June 2024 has been incredible, the amount of effort that has gone into creating such a stunning venue is insane! Nothing was too much trouble and the team will do anything to help you and make the planning and your day go as smooth as possible. Special thanks to Catherin for making sure our day ran without a hitch, it was stress free and so relaxed. I would recommend this venue to anyone I wish we could do it all over again.

If Carlsberg did wedding venues!!!

This place is stunning the staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble. It was such a perfect day the venue having it all in one space was brilliant and the ground are so picturesque!! Would highly recommend having any function here but especially your wedding the staff make it all run smoothly we didn't have to worry about anything. Also used Karen Fenner makeup artist, Sara Price celebrant & the amazing M2 Catering highly recommended all of those too!
