Catherin, my incredible wedding planner, was nothing short of extraordinary. From our very first meeting, she took the time to understand exactly what we envisioned for our wedding and worked tirelessly to bring that dream to life. She thought of every single detail, things I would never have considered, and handled them with such grace, professionalism, and genuine care. On the day itself, she was a calm and reassuring presence, making sure everything ran seamlessly behind the scenes so that we could simply enjoy every precious moment.
The Barn at Pengelly was equally amazing. The venue was breathtaking, and the team there went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they were always one step ahead, making adjustments and offering help before we even had to ask. Every email I sent, no matter how big or small the question, was replied to almost instantly, always with warmth and reassurance.
Together, Catherin and the Barn at Pengelly team created a day that was not only beautiful but completely stress free. We felt so well looked after, and our guests could not stop talking about how perfect everything was. I can honestly say they went above and beyond in every way possible, and I will be forever grateful for their hard work, kindness, and dedication in making our wedding day truly unforgettable. -

Beautiful venue with a fab team!
Not only is the venue stunning with a beautiful glam room (a must for the day, you won’t be disappointed) the team at Pengelly are amazing!
They went above and beyond to ensure our day was seamless and everything we dreamed of. Nothing was too much trouble and we were treated like royalty. Would highly recommend this venue to everyone. -

We cannot recommend The Barn at Pengelly enough! From start to finish, the team made our wedding day absolutely incredible. The venue itself is stunning, and every detail – from the beautiful ceremony space to the amazing wedding cottages – was perfect. The cottages were worth every penny, offering comfort and convenience that made our stay so special.
The glam room was also incredible – it made getting ready so easy and enjoyable for me and the bridesmaids. The team went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly, and their support and friendliness made the day stress-free and so much fun.
Every guest commented on how wonderful the day was, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better venue or team to make our wedding unforgettable. Thank you so much to everyone at The Barn at Pengelly – we will cherish these memories forever! -

Wonderful wedding
Richie and I loved our wedding day at The Barn at Pengelly so much that we would love to be able to do it all over again. The day flew by in a blur but we were both aware that our wedding coordinator Emily was with us at every turn and made sure it all went swimmingly. The bar staff had a lot to contend with in the evening but took it all in their stride. Fabulous venue, beautiful grounds, massive attention to detail throughout and a gorgeous Glam Room for preparations and a Honeymoon cabin too. Gorgeous accommodation also bookable for guests and a fantastic outdoor space to celebrate with guests the eve before. Gazebo and bbq area etc. Wonderful that we were able to decorate and totally personalise the venue for ceremony and wedding breakfast. Would recommend to anyone who will listen!! -

Perfectly Personal - Mr and Mrs James ✨
The Barn at Pengelly was an obvious choice for our wedding. We wanted chilled out vibes with plenty of accommodation for our wedding party to make it feel like a holiday for them too - it did not disappoint!
All communication with the Barn was top notch and honestly, as a couple we felt so valued and like we really mattered. Emily, our coordinator, was the shining light in our day. She kept everything going and was so enthusiastic about us. Everything from the little touches to making sure we were fed and watered the day before. No stone was left unturned by her and trust me, if you have her as your coordinator, you will have the most magical day because she’s just so on it. We felt so incredibly lucky to have her.
The accommodation was incredible, spotlessly clean, nothing was too much trouble.
The day itself was beautiful. Us girls got ready in the glam room and although this was not included in the price, I feel lucky that I was able to have it as it really did keep me away from the hustle and bustle of the busier accommodation. It was the perfect spot to get ready with my bridal party and there was lots of space for everyone, make up and hair to do their thang! ✨
The honeymoon cabin was perfect too. The most enchanting way to wake up and spend our first night as Mr and Mrs!
All communication with the barn was the best thing really. They sent us little gifts in the post to let us know we were valued, little emails here and there and really, this is what stands out. You feel like you matter and each little event you were invited to made you feel you were part of a little community!
We loved getting married here, each little detail that mattered to us, mattered to you and we’re just so grateful. ✨ -
