Our time at Pentillie was absolutely perfect! Every member of the staff and team were incredibly helpful at ensuring everything went as planned and couldn’t have been kinder! The venue itself is picture perfect, every room is incredible and comfortable, having the place to ourselves was a luxury that will never be topped, our guests loved the swimming pool and exploring the grounds, and the bridal suite was absolute bliss! If you’re planning a Cornish wedding, you’d be amiss to skip out on this venue! 10/10

From our first viewing of Pentillie we knew we had found the place where we wanted to get married. The drive through the gates and into the grounds is so beautiful. We knew we wanted an intimate wedding so we viewed the Bathing Hut, and were just wowed by how stunningly scenic the drive down was. And the Bathing Hut itself is just magical! Our wedding manager Rachael was readily on hand with any queries we had. Rachael made the whole planning process completely stress-free, always so cheerful, and helped make the day flow like a dream. Thank you so much to Rachael and everyone at Pentillie for making our wedding day an absolute DREAM!

After a visit to Pentillie, we knew instantly it was the wedding venue for us! We wanted an intimate wedding of family and close friends, so Pentillie was the perfect size for us. We booked our wedding for a weekend in July in the hopes of taking advantage of the beautiful location and the pool!
Throughout the planning process, Pentillie’s communication was great and we attended multiple meetings at the venue and online. Any questions we had were always answered in a timely manner. Nothing ever seemed too big of an ask!

Rachael the wedding manager was not available on the weekend of our wedding (Our wedding was booked prior to Rachael becoming wedding manager) so we had Sammie on the wedding weekend. Rachael, Sammie and the whole team at Pentillie were incredible! Everything was taken care of and they couldn’t do enough for us!

Unfortunately the weather was not fully on our side, so we did have to go with our wet weather plan. Sammie ensured the Bathing hut was ready for our ceremony and even drove us down for the ceremony, as we hadn’t planned how to get there! The ceremony was perfect, even though it wasn’t the outside ceremony we had imagined.

As the weather cleared up, we were able to get plenty of photos outside and Sammie was on hand for transport around the estate, helping to move my dress and anything else we needed!

During our wedding breakfast staff were on hand to top up drinks and bar staff were incredible through the night. The following morning, everything was tidied away, you wouldn’t have known there was a wedding the day before.

Pentillie was the perfect venue for us and we couldn’t have asked for more! Thank you Pentillie for making our wedding day so special!

From the moment we drove down Pentillie drive with the breath taking views we knew we found what we where looking for our magical place to say I do. We received the most wonderful welcome and where put at ease right away that everything would be handled perfectly. All staff at Pentillie are super efficient. Chrissie is definitely the fairy godmother with Stephen close by working effortlessly together. We had some ideas of what we wanted (our own caterer, wedding photographer) and that we would like a Ceilidh band but no idea who. All this was sorted with contacts that Pentillie have used and trusted over the years. Nothing was ever too much trouble and was effortlessly coordinated. With them being their own unique team and own place we streamed line our dream wedding with what we wanted as a couple. This stress free experience from beginning to end was just amazing.

We have just had our wedding reception at Pentillie Castle, and it truly was the most wonderful day! From the moment we met, Pentillie's wedding co-ordinator Chrissie went above and beyond to make our dreams come true. She was always so friendly and happy to chat over even the smallest details, was incredibly helpful with all of our questions, and made every aspect of planning our Pentillie wedding into a really special and personal experience.
We were drawn to Pentillie's beautiful grounds and outdoor spaces which all lend themselves to stunning photo opportunities, but we were equally impressed by the indoor areas, which are beautifully decorated and we and all of our guests greatly enjoyed our time there. Our guests all said how much they loved their sytlish and elegant bedrooms and the amazing breakfast the next morning too.
On the day, nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. Stephen, Linda and all of the team were fantastic, working behind the scenes, looking after our guests and keeping the day running smoothly.
Pentillie is a magical place for a wedding and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a truly special venue. We could not have chosen a more perfect place to celebrate our special day!

We chose to have our elopement wedding at Pentillie for its unspoilt natural beauty - and we were not disappointed with our big day! Despite it being February, the weather was glorious. We married in the riverside building they call the "Bathing Hut". It has a large window at one end looking onto the Tamar and throughout the ceremony the sun streamed in. All we could see was the river and the glorious sunshine. They lit a fire in the fireplace for us and we were plenty warm enough despite the season. After the ceremony we had photos taken around the grounds of the castle which are absolutely stunning. Everyone we've showed the photos to has admired the setting. The staff at Pentillie are brilliant. They made it effortless for us to organise our wedding and they made sure everything ran seamlessly on the day. I cannot recommend this venue highly enough.

Thank you so very much for ensuring we had the wedding of our dreams. The day was absolutely perfect and we are head over heels in love with Pentillie and always will be. Lisa was an absolute superstar from the moment we first spoke and Matt had a lot of much needed patience with me on the day! You guys have something incredibly special there at Pentillie
