Harbour Hotel St Ives

Thanks to the Harbour team our wedding day was everything we dreamed of and more. We chose the Harbour hotel because we’ve had so many happy memories in St Ives and it holds a special place in our hearts. The setting is beautiful overlooking Porthminster beach (Where we had some beautiful photos!). The Harbour suite blew us away with the sea view back drop.

The events team were amazing from start to finish and so attentive to all our needs. Bliss, Abi and Kelsie completely blew us away. I felt like nothing was too much and they made wedding planning a positive experience. They were completely transparent and there were no hidden fees. 

On the day they helped us to feel so relaxed. Everything ran smoothly and all staff were friendly and approachable. They dealt and managed the 120++ excitable guests extremely well. The food and service were outstanding, with the chocolate brownie and pasties being a real hit! 

The team put Guinness on draft especially for us as we mentioned we had lots of Irish Guinness drinking guests! ( we didn't even have to ask!)

We stayed in the Harbour Hotel from Thursday to Monday with the wedding on Saturday. The events team upgraded us to a beautiful suite on the Thursday night to help fit all our extra wedding bits. The Bridal suite was absolutely stunning and made the wedding morning so much fun, with a bridal breakfast delivered to us whilst getting ready. 

The Events team also brought us a beautiful gift of two personalised 'Mr & Mrs' mugs. This was so unexpected and thoughtful! 

All our guests are still telling us what an amazing day and location it was! We wish we could do it all again! If you are considering booking this venue, do not think twice!

We had our main wedding at the Harbour Hotel in St Ives and honestly couldn’t have chosen a more beautiful location. The setting was absolutely stunning, and being able to have such a special day overlooking the sea made it even more memorable.

From start to finish, nothing was too much trouble. The team were incredibly helpful throughout the whole day and evening, and they did a fantastic job decorating everything for us. It looked absolutely beautiful.

The food was exceptional — really high quality, delicious and beautifully presented. We also loved that our guests were able to choose from different options rather than everyone having to have the same set meal. There was something for everyone, and all of our guests commented on how lovely the food was.

The staff were so attentive and helpful throughout, making sure everything ran smoothly and that we could simply relax and enjoy our special day. We were also lucky enough to get some beautiful photographs on the beach, which was the perfect finishing touch.y

Stunning location, made for some beautiful photos excellent value for money and Bliss was so attentive and helpful. We had our wedding at the beginning of August and it just ran perfectly. The hotel has the most beautiful backdrop to make your special day even more memorable. The day ran very smoothly thanks to the hotel team and there was no stress on the day. We could not have asked for a better day and wish we could do it all over again. If you're looking for good value for money, good food and drink, and a stunning backdrop St Ives Harbour Hotel is the place. We cannot wait to return to relive our special day in the future.

Bliss & her team are fantastic at communicating leading up to the wedding & the wedding day ran so smoothly thanks to them.
We have had lots of guests comment on how beautiful the venue was and how fantastic the food and service was too.
The team even left us a beautiful card and gift to come back to after the wedding day too which was really the cherry on top of the cake.

We had our wedding here and were absolutely blown away with the incredible staff throughout the process! From the first day of having a look around, the whole team were super. We don't live in St Ives and so communication via email was essential to making our vision a reality. Bliss and Maddie were responsive, friendly, helpful and professional. We couldn't have asked for more.

The venue itself is absolutely stunning, all our guests were so impressed with the service and quality food, drink and the overall organisation of the day. The photos that our photographer took have turned out stunning, not that he needed much help with the views over Porthminster beach!

Due to the spa at the venue too, I was able to have a spa day with my bridesmaids the day before and my new husband the day after our wedding which was just magical.

The bridal suite is large, luxurious and had absolutely everything we could have needed. Slippers, dressing gowns, gin & Ts, a stunning view, Nespresso coffee machine and pots, stunning bathroom, the list goes on.

If you're thinking of getting married here... DO IT you will have the BEST day

We got married here May 2026 and had the most amazing day, the venue was perfect as we were able to get married outside, have the wedding breakfast in one room and the evening party in another room, so there's loads of different spaces to cater for people who wanted to relax in the lounge or be in the middle of it all. The ladies in events were super friendly and helpful, they were quick responding to emails/calls before the wedding and gave 110% on the day, we barely had to think about anything on the day because they made it so easy for us and organised everything possible to make us have the best day. I'd recommend this venue if you are looking for somewhere relaxed, stunning views, attentive staff, and great food!

We found this venue from the hitched website while looking for 'package' weddings. We wanted an 'all in one' place where we could stay, have the ceremony and party and we were initially struck by the sea view image and immediately booked a visit. The staff were fabulous and friendly and we booked our date the same day. With just 6 months to plan and execute, the staff were super friendly and helpful every step of the way, answering calls and emails on every little detail. The day itself was perfect and our guests complimented how seamless the day felt which we totally agree with! The staff ensured everything was taken care of and helped in every way possible. The food was also a hit! Wedding food can often be a bit bland but the food was SO GOOD, again with many complimenting how surprised they were to have such tasty wedding food! It was nice to have a lot of space on the day and we were so lucky with the weather as we were able to wander down to the beach for private bride and groom photos. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone, we have absolutely no regrets and wish we could do it all over again! Naomi and Codi Morton

The day was everything we wanted and more! We are so grateful to the team at St Ives Harbour Hotel. Right from our first visit, everyone was so friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Nothing was too much trouble and you put any of our worries at ease. Special shout out to Bliss, Maddie and Kelsie who were always quick to respond to our questions and were absolutely fantastic on the day itself. You made everything run so smoothly! Our guests were all blown away with the venue, food and how well organised everything was. We are so grateful, even down to the lovely personalised mugs that were gifted to us on the day. It was absolutely perfect no problems whatsoever, everyone in the hotel was attentive right from the wedding planners to the maintenence.
The backdrop if the hotel is stunning, and caters for getting married inside our out which is what we did. The room was clean and well decorated and spacious with lots of amenities, couldn't fault. The food was superb 👌 and the champagne 🍾 the best I've ever had. All round it was a magical day and we are going back every anniversary.

We had our wedding at the St Ives Harbour Hotel and honestly, it was perfection from start to finish. The customer service alone deserves 120/100 — the team were incredible throughout the whole journey. From the planning stage, answering my endless questions, regular catch-ups, all the way to the execution on the big day, they were on top of everything and made us feel completely supported.

The venue itself was a dream. Sea-facing, bright, sunny, and beautifully spacious with both indoor and outdoor areas — you really can’t ask for more. Our guests were blown away by the view, and so were we.

And the food… absolutely delicious. Everyone kept telling us how much they enjoyed it.

Most importantly, it was a totally stress-free experience for me as a bride. I genuinely got to enjoy the day without worrying about anything, because the team handled it all so smoothly.

Having the staff at The Harbour Hotel, St. Ives take care of everything was a brilliant experience. From day one, they made us feel right at home, and nothing was ever off limits. They went above and beyond in planning the day, including the vendors we chose and those they referred us to, and the day itself was orchestrated perfectly.

The hotel itself worked well for the vision Carrie and I had, with its sea views, colours, and friendly atmosphere. A short walk to the beach on the day made the sunset magical, and everyone enjoyed some sandy feet and took a short paddle. Your food was brilliant, and the service from the hotel staff, not just on the wedding day itself but throughout the entire lead-up, was fantastic.

In everything you did for us, you were meticulous and ensured we considered every detail. This gave us peace of mind on the day, and throughout that, you were fully on top of everything - you’ve done this all before, so you’re the experts!

The hotel rooms are perfect for wedding days, and, of course, they were clean, tidy, and all details were thought of.

We can’t thank you enough for making our special day memorable and one we’ll never forget. We wish we could relive it! 100% recommend you, your team, your hotel, and the location to anyone! We’ll be back soon! It has a special place in our hearts.

Our day was hand on heart, perfect from start to finish. We literally had to worry about nothing on the day. Abi was absolutely brilliant leading up to the day and on the day. Honestly couldn’t thank her and the team more. All the logistical details were taken care of, and it was genuinely a hassle free process from handover the day before to leaving the day after. So many of our guests said it was the best wedding they’ve been to ever and that the venue was absolutely gorgeous. We chose this venue for the views and the packages were really good and didn’t change across the different months of the year. It did help we had glorious sunshine all day. Wish we could relive this magical day over and over. And we loved the little gift from the hotel we found when we returned to our room for the night. Forever cherished memories.

The hotel staff were warm, friendly, relaxed and made the whole experience from start to finish enjoyable with zero stress!
For the beautiful views and within walking distance to the beach, I was expecting to pay over the odds, but it was a bargain!
We had quotes from various other venues inland and without the gorgeous setting, and they were all more expensive!
The venue is stunning, light, spacious, and with those beautiful blue waters behind you, it’s the perfect place!
