Thanks to the Harbour team our wedding day was everything we dreamed of and more. We chose the Harbour hotel because we’ve had so many happy memories in St Ives and it holds a special place in our hearts. The setting is beautiful overlooking Porthminster beach (Where we had some beautiful photos!). The Harbour suite blew us away with the sea view back drop.
The events team were amazing from start to finish and so attentive to all our needs. Bliss, Abi and Kelsie completely blew us away. I felt like nothing was too much and they made wedding planning a positive experience. They were completely transparent and there were no hidden fees.
On the day they helped us to feel so relaxed. Everything ran smoothly and all staff were friendly and approachable. They dealt and managed the 120++ excitable guests extremely well. The food and service were outstanding, with the chocolate brownie and pasties being a real hit!
The team put Guinness on draft especially for us as we mentioned we had lots of Irish Guinness drinking guests! ( we didn't even have to ask!)
We stayed in the Harbour Hotel from Thursday to Monday with the wedding on Saturday. The events team upgraded us to a beautiful suite on the Thursday night to help fit all our extra wedding bits. The Bridal suite was absolutely stunning and made the wedding morning so much fun, with a bridal breakfast delivered to us whilst getting ready.
The Events team also brought us a beautiful gift of two personalised 'Mr & Mrs' mugs. This was so unexpected and thoughtful!
All our guests are still telling us what an amazing day and location it was! We wish we could do it all again! If you are considering booking this venue, do not think twice!Harbour Hotel St Ives's reply:

We had our wedding at the St Ives Harbour Hotel and honestly, it was perfection from start to finish. The customer service alone deserves 120/100 — the team were incredible throughout the whole journey. From the planning stage, answering my endless questions, regular catch-ups, all the way to the execution on the big day, they were on top of everything and made us feel completely supported.
The venue itself was a dream. Sea-facing, bright, sunny, and beautifully spacious with both indoor and outdoor areas — you really can’t ask for more. Our guests were blown away by the view, and so were we.
And the food… absolutely delicious. Everyone kept telling us how much they enjoyed it.
Most importantly, it was a totally stress-free experience for me as a bride. I genuinely got to enjoy the day without worrying about anything, because the team handled it all so smoothly.
One of the sweetest touches was the little gift they gave us to celebrate our wedding — such a thoughtful gesture and something we’ll never forget.

A Wonderful Place!
Having the staff at The Harbour Hotel, St. Ives take care of everything was a brilliant experience. From day one, they made us feel right at home, and nothing was ever off limits. They went above and beyond in planning the day, including the vendors we chose and those they referred us to, and the day itself was orchestrated perfectly.
The hotel itself worked well for the vision Carrie and I had, with its sea views, colours, and friendly atmosphere. A short walk to the beach on the day made the sunset magical, and everyone enjoyed some sandy feet and took a short paddle. Your food was brilliant, and the service from the hotel staff, not just on the wedding day itself but throughout the entire lead-up, was fantastic.
In everything you did for us, you were meticulous and ensured we considered every detail. This gave us peace of mind on the day, and throughout that, you were fully on top of everything - you’ve done this all before, so you’re the experts!
The hotel rooms are perfect for wedding days, and, of course, they were clean, tidy, and all details were thought of.
We can’t thank you enough for making our special day memorable and one we’ll never forget. We wish we could relive it! 100% recommend you, your team, your hotel, and the location to anyone! We’ll be back soon! It has a special place in our hearts.

Our day was hand on heart, perfect from start to finish. We literally had to worry about nothing on the day. Abi was absolutely brilliant leading up to the day and on the day. Honestly couldn’t thank her and the team more. All the logistical details were taken care of, and it was genuinely a hassle free process from handover the day before to leaving the day after. So many of our guests said it was the best wedding they’ve been to ever and that the venue was absolutely gorgeous. We chose this venue for the views and the packages were really good and didn’t change across the different months of the year. It did help we had glorious sunshine all day. Wish we could relive this magical day over and over. And we loved the little gift from the hotel we found when we returned to our room for the night. The hotel staff were warm, friendly, relaxed and made the whole experience from start to finish enjoyable with zero stress!
For the beautiful views and within walking distance to the beach, I was expecting to pay over the odds, but it was a bargain!
We had quotes from various other venues inland and without the gorgeous setting, and they were all more expensive!

If you are looking for a perfect wedding venue with a perfect team, you MUST book the Harbour Hotel.
iIt was everything we could have dreamed of and more. From the very beginning, the whole team were incredible. Every single person made us feel supported, listened to, and completely at ease.
Erin and Abi looked after us with such care and professionalism, making the whole process effortless, even from 5 hours away!!
On the wedding day itself, Abi was simply perfect. We can still picture her beaming smile now! Every detail was nailed to perfection. We had a very last-minute change to the guest list, Abi took care of it straight away, so we didn’t have to worry for a moment.
The food was insanely good. Combined with the stunning setting and magical atmosphere, it truly made the whole experience unforgettable.Harbour Hotel St Ives's reply:

Abigail our wedding coordinator was outstanding! Her attention to detail, professionalism and calming presence throughout the entire process were truly appreciated.
From our very first meeting, the team were responsive, organised and truly invested in making our day perfect. Every question was answered quickly and thoroughly, no matter how small the detail.
On the big day, everything flowed effortlessly ,all we had to do was enjoy ourselves. It was clear that Abihail and the team were always one step ahead, anticipating needs before they even arose. Guests even commented on how smooth and organised everything felt.
If you are planning a wedding, we can’t recommend them highly enough. They truly went above and beyond to make our day unforgettable! Every member of staff we came into contact with treated us with such kindness and care.

Everything was absolutely perfect — from the setting and the service to the seamless coordination that allowed us to relax and truly enjoy every moment.
The venue looked stunning, and so many of our guests commented on how beautiful everything was and how well-run the whole day felt. Abi, Erin and the team went above and beyond to make sure everything flowed effortlessly, and we really felt so well looked after from start to finish.
We also have to mention the food — wow! Our guests are still talking about it. From the canapés to the main meal and dessert, everything was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. The chefs truly created a dining experience that matched the elegance of the day.
