We cannot recommend St Chad’s as a wedding venue highly enough – everything about the day was above and beyond. From start to finish, Darryl, Lesley and the team made the whole process feel completely seamless and stress-free. They were incredibly responsive to any questions we had, and so flexible in helping us create a day that we wanted. The venue itself is unique and full of character. All the more special for us as Durham is where we met and went to university. The outside space was beautiful and gave our guests plenty of room to relax and play garden games. The food was absolutely excellent – from the canapés to the wedding breakfast and evening food. The team made sure all dietary needs were catered to. It truly was the perfect setting for our day, and we feel lucky to have celebrated such an important moment in such a meaningful place.
