Stately Home Wedding Venues in Durham

We honestly don’t know where to start because our wedding was everything we could have dreamed of — and more. We had such an incredible day that, if we could, we would do it all over again tomorrow! From the very beginning, the entire team were absolutely fantastic. Every detail was handled with such care, professionalism and genuine warmth, and it was clear throughout the whole process that everyone involved really wanted us to have the best possible day. A very special thank you has to go to Emily, our coordinator, who was outstanding from start to finish. She was incredibly helpful, organised and reassuring throughout the planning process, always on hand whenever we had a question and making everything feel so easy. Having someone like Emily behind the scenes gave us complete confidence that everything was going to be taken care of. On the day itself, Jamie, the Events Manager, was absolutely brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble, everything ran so smoothly, and Jamie somehow managed to make sure every detail was exactly where it needed to be while allowing us to simply relax and enjoy our wedding. We genuinely couldn’t have asked for anyone better. And then there was Richard, our Master of Ceremonies, who was simply outstanding. He played such a huge part in making the day flow perfectly and brought exactly the right amount of energy, professionalism and personality. He was fantastic at keeping everything moving without ever making us feel rushed, and he helped create the atmosphere that made the day so special. We also want to say a huge thank you to every single member of the venue team. From the people working behind the scenes to everyone who looked after us and our guests throughout the day, you should all be incredibly proud of what you do. The service, attention to detail and genuine friendliness from the whole team were exceptional. Our guests have not stopped talking about how amazing the day was, and neither have we! We came away with memories that we will treasure for the rest of our lives, and that is ultimately down to the incredible team who made it all happen. Thank you, Emily, Jamie, Richard and the entire team for giving us the most amazing wedding day we could have wished for. You were all absolutely outstanding. We genuinely wish we could do it all again!
