If you decide that you want your happily ever after to take place on this luxurious Grade II-listed estate, you will be spoiled for choice with ceremony and reception options. Experience nature when marrying the one you love in the hall’s outdoor spaces. At the old chapel door, Lartington Hall’s distinctive walls make the perfect backdrop for your first kiss as a married couple. Or, on a bright spring day, walk down the aisle on their perfectly manicured lawns. Taking a look inside, there are many opulent spaces. The grand chapel is ideal for a couple who love the style of a traditional church wedding with high ornate ceilings and stained-glass windows. The drawing room, with its delicate wallpaper and solid oak flooring, is an excellent choice for an intimate ceremony. The tall columns, dazzling chandelier, and marble fireplace of the ballroom would enchant any couple. Afterwards, it would also be the perfect reception hall. With the addition of a dancefloor and a bar, you and your guests can feel like you have been invited to a royal ball for the evening.

Cuisine
The award-winning chefs at Lartington Hall pride themselves on creating menus tailored to the guests' specific tastes. No matter the cuisine or serving style, they are happy to design it for you. The flavour and quality of ingredients are incredibly important and the chefs use only the freshest ingredients from the estate’s fields, gardens, and local producers. Their bar is equally top-quality. Premium cocktails, Northeastern cask ales, and an extensive wine menu are all delightfully served by their skilled bartenders.
Accommodation
Exclusive use of Lartington Hall’s 12 fabulously luxurious boutique ensuite bedrooms is afforded to couples and their wedding guests. A further 16 rooms are located in our courtyard. On the picturesque landscape of the estate, there is also a 5 bedroom cottage with its own courtyard and terrace. The interiors of the 17th-century architecture seamlessly combine carefully placed antiques and contemporary touches, such as four-poster beds, traditional roll-top baths, and heated bathroom floors.

The best day ever✨
The best day of our lives
From the very beginning, the service was absolutely impeccable. Nothing was ever too much trouble, every little detail was taken care of, and the whole team consistently went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. We felt completely looked after throughout the whole process and, on the day itself, we were able to simply relax and enjoy every second knowing everything was in such safe hands.
Our wedding coordinator, Jenna, was absolutely amazing. Every question, request and little detail was handled with such ease, and professionalism.
Bekka, our wedding manager, was equally incredible. Everything ran perfectly, and nothing ever felt rushed or stressful. As a DIY bride this was really important but Bekka went above and beyond to ensure everything was set out just as I imagined.
The food and drinks were absolutely insane. We opted for the extravagates BBQ which was absolutely delicious, we had ever guest commenting how good the food was. They even managed to please an incredibly fussy groom and father of the bride with absolutely no complaints.
Our day was genuinely perfect from beginning to end. The venue is breathtaking and everything I ever dreamed of. We honestly could not recommend Lartington Hall highly enough. If we could do the whole day all over again, we would choose Lartington Hall every single time!
Best day of our lives
From the moment we booked this venue we knew we had made the right choice. We were looked after by Paige, our wedding coordinator who was always there if we had a question or decision to make. She helped planned our perfect day and we are very grateful for that!
A special shoutout goes to Jamie, our wedding manager, and Amy. There are not enough words to cover how grateful we are that you both played such an integral part in our wedding day. Jamie and Amy made sure every single part of the wedding was set up beautifully and ran smoothly. We were in safe hands. Throughout the day, Jamie was there to look after us, kept us laughing and genuinely made us feel like royalty. Lartington Hall are unbelievably lucky to have two very special staff members who are dedicated to their job.
All our guests and suppliers have complimented the staff on how attentive, polite and hard working they were. The staff truly made our day perfect.
The venue is STUNNING, it’s clean and completely breathtaking. I am gutted I cannot attend again unless of course my friends or family pick this 10/10 venue! The food was sooo lovely and presented beautifully!
Take a bow Lartington - a venue like NO OTHER!! I cannot fault anything. The best day of our lives.

You all made it so seamless, there was absolutely no pressure on us because everyone else had everything sorted to make it so special for us and our family.
Everyone is so lovely, patient, kind and couldn't have done more for us and all of our guests. Not one of you makes Lartington Hall feel like a business, just a special place to create the best day of people's lives. We can't thank you all enough!
Becca and Richard are just outstanding! Becca gave us our tour around Lartington and Richard was there on the taster evening and we were so impressed with them, so we were absolutely over the moon to get these two wonderful people supporting us through our day.
The bar staff were soooo friendly, chatty and attentive. All staff were wonderful and helpful. The rooms were amazing (obviously!!!) - thanks to the accomodation team for all of their help with this!
The food WOW, everyone is absolutely buzzing over the food (again obviously!!!). The best food we have ever had at a wedding. Wish we could eat it all again!!!

Stunning venue and wonderful staff, a dream day!
The planning process did have its stressful parts and there was sometimes quite a delay in responses which resulted in a lot of last minute admin which I had been hoping to avoid. For those with more time however I am sure this would not be as stressful. However it all got done and the day was seamless. Myself and my guests did have some frustrations with getting accomodation booked, however guests did get upgrades during their stay which was greatly appreciated.
Overall could not have been happier with our wedding venue and would highly recommend.
What a day!
The team both on the day and in the lead up to the wedding were second to none. On the day, we didn’t have to think about a single thing, they had everything sorted for us to ensure the day ran smoothly.
Elle in particular is absolutely incredible, she is a ray of sunshine and we feel so lucky that we had her alongside us all day. We had some last minute changes and she quickly sorted these out without any bother. Elle made our day so special and it couldn’t have been more perfect, we will always be so grateful to her! Thank you so much Elle, you’re unreal!!! 🥲
Jamie and Richard are also absolutely amazing and looked after us so well! We had so much fun, and were able to completely enjoy our day as they had everything organised and under control. The three of them are the absolute dream team, and a credit to The Apartment Group.
Lartington Hall is so beautiful and provides the most incredible backdrop for a gorgeous day. We planned an outdoor ceremony but due to the rain we got married in the drawing room instead, and it was absolutely stunning!!!
The food was amazing, the space is insanely beautiful, and the team are incredible. Our guests are still talking about what a gorgeous day it was, I just wish I could do it every single day!
If your guests are planning to book the courtyard rooms, I recommend booking these asap. More than six months before our wedding the rooms had already been made available to guests attending the wedding taking place the day after ours, so make sure you book them in early if you need them.

Wedding Perfection
From our very first visit to the venue we knew this was the place we wanted to get married. The attention to detail shown by staff on this visit was fantastic from having our favourite cocktails prepared on arrival to knowing the small details about how we wanted our wedding to look. We’d like to give a special mention to Elle who did our initial look around and had us sold on the venue in the first few minutes!
Once we booked Lartington, Paige was our wedding coordinator. She was brilliant, offering little tips and recommendations while still letting us plan the wedding we wanted.
The day of the wedding we were looked after by Jamie, our wedding manager and Richard, our master of ceremonies - both were incredible and no ask was too great. Jamie ensured our day ran smoothly and accommodated every request we had. Both Jamie and Richard made sure we were never left without a drink and even ensured our families were never without one.
Jamie spent the night before our wedding getting everything set up for us so we didn’t have to worry about it and could just enjoy the excitement of the build up.
The venue itself is absolutely stunning and we had so many remarks about how beautiful Lartington Hall is.
If you are looking for somewhere to get married, we would always recommend Lartington. The venue is a perfect backdrop but the staff make it the best place to get married - we can’t thank everyone enough!!

We had so many compliments from our guests on both the day itself and the venue, it really left a lasting impression on everyone. I was able to have my dream Bridgerton inspired wedding, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. It was everything we hoped for and more, and we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful or seamless experience.
