Out of a large number of venues contacted, Emily was the ONLY one who actually took the time to create a personal quote. This made me think she could be the one to help me navigate the crazy world of Wedding management.
As it was my first wedding, I had many strange questions and requests. Emily was always there, quickly answering the phone or email. Honestly, there aren't words that can describe how wonderful this woman is! I never felt stupid or annoying; only supported.
The food!! Oh the chef is amazing and listens to your requests. He even made a very tasty menu for the most tricky of dietary requirements that pleased those special guests!
The day ran so smoothly! No issues! No complaints from the guests! And how could they find fault!? Emily and her team, which included Herbie and Lorna, ran the day and evening with such professionalism and experience!
Emily was always there for a supportive hug and huge contagious smile that just puts you at ease.
To say I wish I could get married here every month to experience the amazing food and such friendly, professional people, just doesn't do the place justice.
The bridal suite is the perfect size to get ready the day of. It consists of the main bedroom at the top of the mezzanine and at the bottom, a lovely large living area with pull out sofa. I would only request a phone to be put in so you can contact reception when you need more water or prosecco - heehee.
There is loads of parking, including electric car charge.
The garden isnt huge but beautiful with the gazebo and views over the fields plus a lovely area to set up garden games!
The ballroom was the room that really caught me, with its subtle 1930s decor. It was the perfect size for the ceremony and breakfast.
I liked that even though you dont have sole access to the hotel, you never are concerned that other guests will crash the area as you have the far left 'wing' of the hotel which has its own access to the bar, ceremony room and even the hotel rooms. So you get that feeling of being 'cut off' from other guests.
In summary, Emily and her team helped me make one of the most important days of my life, not just special, but magical. I am grateful to them and cant wait to go back in 5 years to renew my vows!!

Emily at the Hog's Back Hotel is second to none. She made the whole thing seamless and carefree. Genuinely couldn't wish for anyone better to oversee the wedding experience start to finish. She was my unofficial planner, confidant, and best friend while we were working on my dream wedding. Id trust her with any event, she honestly made our entire day and I cant thank her enough for the time and effort she put into our day.

From our first meeting with Emily until the moment we left, a couple of days after the Wedding, there is nothing to fault.
Throughout the planning, Emily was a constant support, she helped us choose the perfect package for us, without any pressure. We faced a few challenges nearer the date, Emily was quick to help and support us, assisting us to change things around, without any fuss. Made a stressful situation much easier!
The day was perfect, even though arrangements had to change, because of constant rain. Emily and staff seamlessly changed everything around accommodate everyone. The Toastmaster, included in the package, John Heasman, was excellent, absolutely brilliant. The staff were amazing, friendly, professional, efficient, helpful, each and everyone of them. They all went above and beyond.
The food, well, what can l say, it was exceptional. It was hot, it was tasty, it was filling. Not one guest complained about any of it, in fact the compliments were many. This included both the Wedding Breakfast and the evening buffet (which was plentiful).
A large number of Guests stayed at the hotel overnight and again they were extremely impressed.
We had the perfect day, despite the persistent rain and this was largely thanks to Emily, the staff, John Heasman and Enigma Entertainment, who supplied the evening music and photo booth.
We could not have asked anymore from anyone, we made the perfect choice when we trusted Emily and the Hogs Back Hotel with our special day.

We had the best day we could have wished for, this venue is amazing, we loved it from the first look, the staff are fantastic from Emily helping to plan our day, Jose from the moment we arrived the day before, George and Jack to name only a few , nothing was too much for them , the food was delicious, all our guests commented that it was superb! Our package included John the toastmaster, I highly recommend to include him! He helped to run everything smoothly, also enigma Disco were amazing! The Hogs Back made our day so very special ❤️ Highly recommend

We had a wedding package booked here ,with that came with spending the night before at venue in the Room at the Top , please check this room beforehand due to the number of staircase in the room , great if you have number of bridesmaid to help you get ready as this room has a large room plus upstairs too.
Staff at the venue were amazing nothing was an issue. Wedding coordinator Emily was amazing nothing seem a problem and our day ran so smoothly it was great.
Guest that stayed the night said it was great place and breakfast buffet on Saturday morning was great too.

We had the best time here for our son’s wedding. We stayed the night before the wedding and the wedding night and it was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble, the staff, food and drinks were fabulous. Emily looked after us leading up to the wedding and on the day and she really did go over and above for us. We all said we wish we could do it all again! We would definitely recommend this hotel for any celebration.

Hogsback is a picturesque spa and hotel perfect for all family and friends to celebrate with you. Kids loved the pool and everyone loved the fantastic view. Restaurant food was delicious.

Wonderful professional and communicative staff. Ballroom ended up looking great!

We hosted our wedding reception at The Hogs Back Hotel in October 2024, and it was the perfect day!

We booked our wedding with six months between engagement and the big day and we were concerned that we would struggle to plan alongside our full time shift working jobs and daily life with the children, but we really need not have worried.

We seemingly looked at every hotel in Surrey and Hampshire, and The Hogs Back Hotel by far offered the best value for money and the most included in the package price. They make it so easy!

The service we received from all of the hotel staff, but particularly Emily has been nothing short of exceptional.

The venue is beautiful, clean and modern and perfectly complimented our very neutral colour scheme. Most of our guest stayed over the night and were given a discount code to use for a discounted stay. The following day we were given private use of the garden room for breakfast and we all enjoyed a swim together in the spa which made a whole weekend of it for us which was lovely.

The food was exceptional and all our guests commented the same, both the wedding breakfast and the evening buffet.

From booking to wedding day we couldn’t have been looked after better by all of the staff and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Hogs Back Hotel more to any couple planning their wedding. We couldn’t be happier!

We really cannot speak highly enough of our experience planning and having our wedding at the Hog's Back Hotel & Spa in Farnham this September (2024).

Our wedding coordinator Emily was friendly, courteous and organised from the very start and was receptive to everything we suggested. Nothing was ever too much for her - and the same goes for the staff at the Hog's Back as a whole - and her communication in the two years leading up to the special day was fantastic.

We are Disney lovers and Emily ensured this shone through on the wedding day, helping to decorate the room and tables the day before and we were so impressed with how punctual the venue was with setting up and the process of the day itself.

Our guests spoke very highly of the venue, its staff and especially the food! If you are foodies like us, this is the wedding venue for you. The chefs are both incredibly talented and flexible, catering to a range of preferences and allergies. Our meal on the day was so good - we have even had guests tell us they are trying to recreate the French Onion Soup they had for their starter!

The hard work of everyone involved here was clear to see and in the likes of wedding coordinators Emily and Helen, you are in excellent hands!

I couldn’t recommend them enough, I had 8 weeks to plan our wedding due to illness in the family and they went above and beyond to do everything they could to help and organise it so we could have the most perfect day. All staff were amazing on the day, especially Gemma, Emily and Helen. Tom at reception made sure our guests that were staying, had everything they needed. They honestly were all incredible. All guests comments on how amazing the food was and how smoothly the day run, all just liked together nicely. The bridal suite was amazing, also has two floor so if you plan on staying there the night before to get ready with your bridemaids it’s perfect for this too. So good that my uncle decided to get married here a few months ago. You won’t regret having your day here 🥰

What an absolutely beautiful day. It’s a memory we’ll cherish forever. In our darkest times it’ll get us through. I don’t know where to start. The food was the biggest hit I think. Everyone commented on it especially the duck (it even pleased a fussy French guest of ours!) so thank you .. many said it was the best duck they had tasted. We were very impressed with front of house as well.
