We first met John at a wedding fair and it was our first encounter of a Toastmaster- and what a lovely, bubbly person to come across!

We had met a few more toastmasters following this, but nobody quite like John! We very shortly after booked John and had him booked for quite a while (at least 2 years!) before the wedding.

John was amazing at easing our nerves pre-wedding, from helping with explaining how things would traditionally go, to helping us tailor the day to what we wanted exactly.

At the wedding… we wouldn’t have been without him, from greeting everybody at the entrance to making sure he came and spoke to us throughout to see if there was anything the could help with. And with our group photos, he worked flawlessly to coordinate with our photographer to huddle people to keep things on track. No one could fault him, and everyone was complimenting him to us for many days after!

John, you are an absolute pleasure to be around and we are so glad that you were a part of our day. Thank you for everything.

John was absolutely amazing! We booked John only a few months before our wedding as we wanted everyone to enjoy the day rather than key members supporting organising and it was so worth it! Despite it being fairly last minute John was straight on organising meet ups. John was responsive and friendly from the get go, he answered any questions we had and was full of tips and tricks of the trade to support us! He was always on hand whenever we needed and even took a trip to our venue to get familiar with it before the day! On the day, everything run smoothly - as far as we know anyway!! Which means if it didn’t we had no idea as it was handled so well by John! Our guests loved him and he really did make sure our day ran as smoothly as possible! He took so so much stress of our plates but also our families plates which means we could all just be 100% in the moment! He was a top supllier and just so so fab!

John was by far the best addition to our wedding! His service was remarkable. He has a great ability to be able to accommodate to all guests and connect on a personal level. His level of attention he showed me and my wife was amazing, regular meetings and even face to face! He has a great sense of humour and can really light up a room with his personality.

I would recommend John to anyone who is looking for a toastmaster for their wedding, as it will make the day run so smoothly and will leave you stress free.

Never did I think about having a toastmaster for my wedding.. that was what I thought until I met John at an event. After he told me his role and then reflecting on my family and those members who were “in the toilet” “smoking” or just generally “outside chatting” and missed out on special moments at a wedding, I knew that he was a must!

From the moment we asked John to help us with our day he’s been a dream! He is always on his phone answering our many questions. We had a pre wedding meet to go through everything. He generally really cared about day and making it so special for us, even getting to know our bridal party.

Thank you John for contributing to our amazing day and being so lovely! You’re definitely a highlight from the guests! And I’m not being biased because he’s a Crystal Palace supporter. Having John at your wedding is definitely the icing on the (wedding) cake!

From our first Online meeting to our wedding John was professional, patient and caring. He made our day run so smoothly, our guests absolutely loved him! So much so some have already gotten in touch for their own events.

He ensured that the vibe on our day was exactly what we wanted, that our guests who needed a little extra care were well looked after and informed, worked really well with the venue team and photographer for the most efficient wedding photo shoot I've ever seen!

Well what can I say apart from that John is just amazing. From the first conversations over email John came across as such a lovely person. On speaking on video call John was highly professional but certainly down for a good laugh. We are a very laid back couple yet had a few questions for John which were answered quickly and professionally. John messaged me on the morning of the wedding which was really a lovely touch. John had spoken about a special task for our 7 year old son which made him super excited. Our son can be very wary around new people and he had decided to make a speech - I text John the night before the wedding to let him know this (we had previously spoken about it) just to give John the heads up. On the day John was truly fantastic! We honestly couldn’t have done the day without him. From welcoming people on arrival to ensuring everyone was ready for when I walked down with my dad. When it came time to welcome us into the room he stood with our son and let him bang the gavel and made a joke with our son. John really made him feel at ease and John bigged him up a lot to make him feel confident to do his speech. We had so many lovely compliments from our guests saying how lovely John was ensuring they were all okay etc. John really is the best of the best!! Thank you so much John.

Toastmaster John hosted our day 02.06.2025 at TTBB. We met John at a wedding in 2024 and instantly knew we wanted him to host our day. He’s service is second to none and we couldn’t be anymore thankful to him. From first contact, right up until our wedding day, John kept in regular contact, making sure he knew every small detail about our day. He’s professionalism, knowledge and advice couldn’t be beaten. John, we can’t thank you enough for all you did for us! If you are in need of a toastmaster - he is 100% your man!

John kept in contact with us from the early stages where we had a phone call and an in person meeting to discuss our plans and how he can help us. He really helped out the Mother of the Bride with her speech giving her tips and helping her practice which gave her so much more confidence. He was very easy to contact and was incredibly responsive.

On the day John did an incredible job of keeping all our guests informed of where they needed to be and lifting some of the stress from my Wife and I's shoulders. We had excellent feedback from our guests who loved not only his help but his fun personality

From the moment I first contacted John there was a connection the conversation flowed and automatically (after speaking to 10 previous toastmasters) I knew John was the one for the day! he checked in with me regularly in the lead up to the wedding, we had zoom calls, phone calls, texts & meet in person before the day! From our first enquiry, to meeting him at our venue a couple of months before, he stays in regular contact putting you at ease and genuinely cares about your wedding, going above and beyond for your every need for example checking over speeches which was a great help. I can not fault how professional and personal John was. I had the absolute pleasure of watching his service for a vow renewal and have to say this is the best ceremony and service I have witnessed. John was an absolute amazing addition to our Wedding Day on December 14th. John took the stress off of me entirely and worked so so well with all of my other vendors to ensure a smooth running of the day.
Before the wedding, John would often check in with us and make sure that we were ready to go. He went out of his way to offer with helping of writing speeches, proof reading things and ensuring that everything we wanted was going to happen.
John worked amazingly with our photographer - the two of them were the most amazing duo. Jo would photograph the moment whilst John went round and collected everyone for the next shot. They were amazing together - John is so helpful and so lovely.
All of our guests kept telling us how much they loved him and how polite and welcoming he is.

Toastmaster John is absolutely brilliant ! From start to finish he has been speaking to my husband and myself about our special day and how we wanted it to go. He answered any concerns that we had and was such a brilliant help with any changes we made throughout the build up and on the day. He is amazing with the guests and made sure everyone knew where they were supposed to be at the right time. He made the day so much easier on us which allowed us to enjoy our special day without any worries. Thank you so much John !x

We booked John for our wedding this year in September. From the moment John received my message through Hitched.com he kept up with the communication with me and explained very clearly what his role as a Toastmaster would be. After that initial phone conservation I warmed to John immediately and felt he would be a valuable asset to our special day. My fiancé at that time wasn't convinced that we required a Toastmaster for our wedding but I convinced him to have a conversation with John to understand how John could help us. We arranged a group call and John was his charismatic, personable and funny self and explained everything to my fiancé, how he wouldn't just be a Toastmaster who would make announcements but would liase with the suppliers there and take all the stress off us so that everything goes smoothly on the day. He even made recommendations and gave some good advice from his years of experience as a Toastmaster at weddings which we really appreciated. Needless to say my Fiancé really liked John and was convinced that he could really help us on the day.

John met up with us and went through the planning of the day, asking us questions to get to know us and to understand who all the key wedding party members were as well as getting contact information for all the suppliers. He even made a special effort to visit the wedding venue in his own time and familiarise himself with the layout so that he could understand our wishes and requirements for the day.

On the big day itself John was a superstar and looked fabulous in his Toastmaster uniform, he turned up early and although we were running behind schedule, John stepped in and was a great help co-ordinating with the catering team and the photographer to make sure things ran smoothly. He was especially great working with our photographer to help get guests lined up for the group photos. John mingled with our guests and also checked in with us and our wedding party to make sure everyone was ok. Our introduction into the wedding breakfast and announcements of the speeches were fun and memorable thanks to John. He added his own unique touches which made it extra special. We had the most wonderful day and John was an absolute delight to have at our wedding, all of our guests loved him and were impressed with him. We really cant thank John enough for everything he did for us on our special day. I wouldn't hesitate at all to recommend John, he really is the most fantastic Toastmaster and a credit to his profession!
