The Copper Gazebo
For those who love the feeling of the outdoors without compromise. Framed by elegant white marble columns and crowned with a striking copper roof, this space creates a romantic, theatre-style setting where every guest feels part of your moment. Open, light, and effortlessly airy — it’s perfect for couples who want their vows bathed in natural light.
The Ponds Gazebo
Tucked away and quietly enchanting. A gentle walk across the wooden bridge leads you to a rustic gazebo, surrounded by water and nature. With wild ducks often wandering by as curious witnesses, this space feels intimate, peaceful, and beautifully organic — a hidden little world for your “I do.”
The Main Barn
For those who prefer a cosy, atmospheric setting (or simply want peace of mind with the British weather). Our converted barn blends rustic charm with subtle industrial touches, softened by warm lighting from drum cymbal features and delicate fairy lights woven through original oak beams. It’s inviting, romantic, and full of character — perfect for a ceremony that feels both grounded and magical.

The Marquee
Our reception space is designed so no one misses a second. Seamlessly connected to the barn, our beautifully lined marquee opens out through wide bi-folding doors — creating one flowing space where your guests can move, mingle, and celebrate together without ever feeling apart.
By day, it’s light, bright, and effortlessly spacious.
By night, it transforms.
Hidden within the soft draping of the marquee ceiling, delicate fairy lights begin to glow — creating a stunning starry night effect that brings a touch of romance to every toast, every laugh, and every dance.
And because we know British evenings can turn a little chilly… you’ll stay perfectly comfortable with built-in heaters and underfloor heating, keeping the atmosphere warm in every sense of the word.

What can I say about Bronwyn and the team at Hoad Farm Barn. We were absolutely moved by the space and the teams generosity allowing us to use their staff to help us create the perfect shot.
A pleasure to work with and a can do attitude if you are considering the venue for a wedding or a party you will not be disappointed.

Not the day I’d dreamed of.
Communication was so delayed
Staff didn’t prepare for wedding songs and every time I asked about it was told I needed to wait for a specific member of staff on my wedding morning….of all things!! Then was told there was a speaker and one of my guests could control it from the ceremony area!!! WHAT!!
Dirty sofa bed for bridesmaids to sleep on and no bedding just old stained bedding left on the bed from last use. Was told they didn't know anyone had used it otherwise would have checked it.
Place crawling with ants including the Airbnb unit we were getting ready in and when made owner aware was told they’d ’had trouble with grass ants this year’ had to throw some food away in the venue!! Why not tell us beforehand if was a known issue?!
When needed staff they were nowhere to be seen. They also stood and watched my bridesmaids put out the evening food which they told us they would do.
Staff cleared dirty plates into their house cellar which meant evening guests had to eat food off their hands and I didn’t know this had happened until I saw people eating like it.
Owner told my Dj they didn’t have the correct connection in reach for him in the marquee but ‘bride would just have to move his location to inside the barn’ so that it would work. Without even speaking to me first considering I’d made all the table plans etc already and paid for the printing. Dj purchased an extension to make it work where we’d made space for him.
Staff all left the venue on the day without telling us or even saying bye-we were looking for help and my third party bar staff told me they’d all gone home already.
Venue is beautiful, every single guest commented on it. Staff don’t have a clue what they’re doing. It just ruined my day and my memories of the day because I was running around doing all the bits they should have been-not to mentioned we asked them if we should pay someone to come and work there for the day and was told no because they would have 3 members of staff there to do it all.
We also emailed them regarding the issues and just got a careless email response from them wishing us well in the future.
All we see on social media is them congratulating couples and sharing photos after their day. We didn’t get any of this so starting to wonder if they were behaving like they did with us because of the money issue at the start?!
Just all very sad.
