The Coin Laundry staff were calm, helpful and so positive the day before the wedding and on the day itself. They made us feel at home and were always ready to work with us and help in any way they could. The food was delicious both at the sit down meal as well as what was brought out as finger food in the evening. The room downstairs was great for dancing in, and the staff got the seating arrangements for the meal upstairs spot on and as requested. I’m the father of the bride and wasn’t involved in choosing the venue, but I’m very glad my daughter and her now husband did. Thank you Coin Laundry.

We had an absolutely wonderful evening and couldn’t have asked for a better celebration. The venue looked fantastic, everything ran smoothly, and all of our guests had an amazing time. The whole team were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout the evening. There wasn’t anything we felt was missing on the night. Everything was exactly as we had hoped, and we’re very grateful for all the effort that went into making it so special. FYI- The guests really liked the pizza!

Thank you for all you did on Friday for Hannah & Nicks Wedding, we were so lucky with the weather and the drinks reception in the garden was beautiful as was the hall, the event was spectacular and we have had so many compliments and thanks from guests for a great wedding. Please thank the staff for all they did.

We could not have picked a better venue & location for our civil ceremony and couldn’t have asked for better coordinators on the day and prior. Everything was great! From the moment we saw Balfour, Ella and the team were brilliant. The planning sessions and email exchanges meant we had complete confidence in everything that was happening, and Ella was so flexible to accommodate what we wanted from a range of food options, drinks (particularly alcohol free) and bringing in accessories and entertainment. On all of it they made it just work and Ella was personally amazing at helping us work through it all. The venue itself was exactly what we wanted. A fun location in central London that was exactly the right size for our 75 guests. It came with the lights and set up that meant it felt very cozy and the team did a brilliant job putting out our decorations. The upstairs area meant it felt roomy but also intimate enough for the size of our wedding. Overall we are so glad we chose Balfour St Bart’s - they did a superb job making our day what we wanted.

From start to finish, they were wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble for them! The venue is beautiful and the team did everything perfectly to the letter. Whenever we raised that something needed to be adjusted they were quick to handle everything. Charlotte even made sure that both my husband and I had our desserts as we wandered outside to more pictures whilst our guests were having dessert. Gabi and Tuesday were wonderful in sorting everything out and Charlotte was great in ensuring we were well informed of timings and making sure we knew where we were! I couldn’t recommend them enough for food and drink, we had so many compliments on the food! I am coeliac and asked if all my food could be made gluten free, they went one step above that and ensured everything (barring one dish that couldn’t be gluten free) was entirely gluten free, so I could eat anything with no worry of cross contamination. There was so much right, it would take a novel to say everything. In my opinion, there would be no mistake in booking The Fable for your wedding.

Got married here in March and couldn’t have had a better day. The staff were attentive and well organised, food was spectacular and it’s a lovely building. It feels like a real luxury experience and well worth the money. Head and shoulder above other venues we looked at!

We got married here in 2023. Everything was perfect and the team made sure the day/food etc was just as we wanted it. Particular thanks to Priya and Eva (Pegasus) for their hard work making our wedding day and lead up so special.

Just want to send a huge thanks to the team at 1 Lombard Street for making our wedding day so amazing. From the staff to the food to the venue itself, our guests were so impressed and I have received so many compliments since the wedding about how fab the day was. The team are amazing and so calm and helpful even at the most stressful times. I would 100% recommend this venue - it was just perfect for our wedding!

We hosted our wedding reception, dinner, and evening party at the Crypt at St Etheldreda’s, and it was nothing short of magical. Andy, the head chef, created a stunning menu that delighted every guest, perfectly paired with the impeccable service provided by the wonderful Benoit and his team. Nobody left hungry, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about the food and the flawless service. The entire evening was beautifully coordinated, everyone going above and beyond to accommodate every request. Whether it was finding a quiet spot for the bride to change into her party dress or arranging a private space for our 4-person band, the team’s pragmatic and helpful attitude truly took the pressure off. A big thanks to Amy for her help and support! We also chose to use the Cloisters, the Crypt’s outdoor courtyard, for our drink’s reception. It was the perfect extension to an already incredible space, where our guests could enjoy champagne and live music in a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere. The Cloisters also worked seamlessly for transitioning between drinks, dinner, and the evening party. We couldn’t recommend it enough! The Crypt itself captured the mood —a sophisticated, atmospheric, and intimate venue steeped in medieval charm. Weeks later, we’re still receiving compliments from our guests. It was the perfect setting for our celebration, and we’re so grateful to the amazing team for making our day truly unforgettable. Thank you for everything—you created memories we’ll treasure forever!
