We got married here on the 3rd of October 2025 and when we tell you it was a perfect day, we mean it! Storm Amy may have been raging outside, but the wonderful people at House for an Art Lover made it feel like pure sunshine inside (shout out to Kate, Amber and Amy in particular). Our guests all commented that the food was wonderful (we agree). One of our vegan guests even told us how excited she was at having a choice at our buffet, and that all of it was delicious. We are so glad that we chose House for an Art Lover as the setting for the best day of our lives. If you are reading this while still considering whether you want to get married here, just do it. From the start, communicating with the engine works was easy. They answered emails very fast and we were able to go for a viewing within the week. The staff are amazing leading up to the wedding, they send you numbers from the vendors they’ve worked with before, a mockup timeline and plenty of photos for inspiration. Our day went absolutely perfectly and would highly recommend using this venue. If we could do it all again, we would change nothing

We planned our wedding 6 months out and quickly but thoroughly shopped around for the right venue for us. We quickly realised that BAaD was right for our day, with the help of Jess, who met with us and worked through everything. We had our hearts set on a venue and a day that gave us the ability to create a celebratory atmosphere with it being a little less formal. Because the venue is flexible and adaptable, we were able to create the right feel with an intimate ceremony followed by epic party vibes later. The little things like the Photo Booth, the LED screen add to the great location, fantastic staff and very cool venue. We are so grateful to Jess who was super cool throughout and made the day perfect for us. I didn’t worry once about timings or anything else. Couldn’t recommend this venue more. It’s the perfect Scottish/Glasgow spot to celebrate your special day.

We came to The Cruin for an open day and instantly fell in love. From the start Rebecca, David and the team were fantastic and very amenable to all our endless questions! Any request was listened to and ultimately delivered brilliantly on the day. Nothing was too much trouble. Even though it rained nearly all day, the team made sure everything was to our vision and ran smoothly. All our guests have said what a stunning venue it is and how amazing the food was. We’re so glad we picked The Cruin and we can’t thank you all enough for the most beautiful wedding day. It was everything we wanted and more.

The weather was shocking but that didn't dampen any spirits, everything went really well.

Fantastic, incredible, amazing. Everyone at the piping centre made sure our big day went perfectly. We're so grateful to all the staff, but especially Emily and Lauren who kept us on track throughout the day, and our piper who did a beautiful job piping my wife down the aisle. The team were very good with allergens and made sure all of our guests dietary requirements were taken care of. They were also just generally delightful and friendly, providing a wonderfully welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. I thought getting married would be more nervewracking but everything went so smoothly and we knew we were in safe hands. They were also incredibly LGBT+ friendly, which was very important for us as a queer couple with a lot of LGBT+ guests.

We cannot fault anything about our day! Everything ran smoothly and was planned to perfection. Tabetha and the team were fabulous and so accommodating - even with last minute tweaks! There is nothing we would change about our amazing day!
