We got married here on the 3rd of October 2025 and when we tell you it was a perfect day, we mean it! Storm Amy may have been raging outside, but the wonderful people at House for an Art Lover made it feel like pure sunshine inside (shout out to Kate, Amber and Amy in particular). Our guests all commented that the food was wonderful (we agree). One of our vegan guests even told us how excited she was at having a choice at our buffet, and that all of it was delicious. We are so glad that we chose House for an Art Lover as the setting for the best day of our lives. If you are reading this while still considering whether you want to get married here, just do it. From the start, communicating with the engine works was easy. They answered emails very fast and we were able to go for a viewing within the week. The staff are amazing leading up to the wedding, they send you numbers from the vendors they’ve worked with before, a mockup timeline and plenty of photos for inspiration. Our day went absolutely perfectly and would highly recommend using this venue. If we could do it all again, we would change nothing

We had our wedding at BAaD in April 2026. We knew from the outset that the day was going to be perfect but were blown away when it exceeded every expectation. In the run up to the wedding Jess was incredibly helpful and efficient throughout the full planning process. Every member of staff involved on the day was extremely professional and welcoming. The food was excellent, and the running of the day was incredibly slick. We have had so many rave reviews from our guest on the venue and the team. The team did an exceptional job (effectively turning the wedding into a garden centre with all of our decor!) - the space looked gorgeous from start to finish. We cannot thank you enough!

We really can't thank the team at The Cruin enough. From the initial booking, David and the team did everything to make the day perfect. Everything ran like clockwork and as planned. They really ae like a well oiled machine, the staff were locely and incredibly helpful, both in the run up to the wedding and on the day. The food was amazing and the portions were huge. Everyone has commented that it was the best food they have had at a wedding and there were a couple of chefs as guests who said the same thing. This really is the most perfect venue, being able to get married on the edge of Loch Lomond, with the sun shining was incredible and we will forever be thankful to the team at the Cruin for making the day so special for us. We are also especially thankful that they allowed us to bring some very lovely, and well behaved highland cows as guests

I attended a wedding on the Tall Ship back in October and it was just beautiful! It's so unique and honestly amazing how the ship was transformed for the ceremony and reception. The staff were all so nice also, nothing was too much, and the wee bar onboard had a nice selection too. Definitely recommend and hope I can come back to ceilidh down the deck again soon!

Fantastic, incredible, amazing. Everyone at the piping centre made sure our big day went perfectly. We're so grateful to all the staff, but especially Emily and Lauren who kept us on track throughout the day, and our piper who did a beautiful job piping my wife down the aisle. The team were very good with allergens and made sure all of our guests dietary requirements were taken care of. They were also just generally delightful and friendly, providing a wonderfully welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. I thought getting married would be more nervewracking but everything went so smoothly and we knew we were in safe hands. They were also incredibly LGBT+ friendly, which was very important for us as a queer couple with a lot of LGBT+ guests.

We cannot fault anything about our day! Everything ran smoothly and was planned to perfection. Tabetha and the team were fabulous and so accommodating - even with last minute tweaks! There is nothing we would change about our amazing day!
