As a member of The Society of London Toastmasters, I bring a wealth of experience to celebrations. My expertise and planning skills will help you orchestrate a seamless, stress-free, and sophisticated event.

Having looked after in excess of 1600 events in a little over 15 years, I bring an unrivalled level of experience and expertise to the planning, coordination and execution to your day.

I believe that communication is the key to any great event, and I will work with you in order to ensure it is one you will never forget; whilst working closely with the team at your chosen venue on the day, you will be able focus on enjoying your day without any worries.

A Toastmaster's presence can distinguish your wedding from others and can present in many different forms. From a relaxed, easygoing, yet reliable individual with the ability to generate an atmosphere, you will never forget the traditional, ceremonial British Pomp; only a highly experienced Toastmaster can blur those lines and tailor their approach to your day.

Unbeknown to your guests, they will take away the worry and pressure of hoping a friend, relative or restaurant manager will carry out the role of the before mentioned. Trust your special day to the professional!

Discreet and efficient, if unforeseen problems arise, they are dealt with, often without the bride or bridegroom ever needing to know. It will give you peace of mind knowing you are entrusting your wedding day to the expert who knows exactly how you have planned your day to look and feel.

​I will be delighted to provide my Professional Toastmasters service for: weddings of all faiths, cultures, communities and civil partnerships.

In addition, I am experienced in and pleased to officiate at:

  • corporate dinners and dinner dances

  • civic luncheons and banquets

  • masonic ladies festivals

  • birthdays, anniversaries

  • awards ceremonies, conferences

  • sports club annual dinners

  • Official openings or a product launch

This is what you can expect from me, as your Event Host, Toastmaster or Master of Ceremonies:

  • I will meet with you at your home, reception venue or on a Zoom call to discuss your requirements. I will want to know every single detail of your day, that way, you have confidence that I fully understand how your day looks.

  • Once booked, I am contactable by text, phone or email, for advice and reassurance, right up to the day.

  • On the day, I will work alongside your reception venue management team, caterers, photographer and/or videographer and other vendors to ensure that your needs and timings are met and, of course, that your day happens the way you have planned it.

  • I will meet and receive your guests, welcoming them with any necessary information regarding the venue and/or the arrangements for your reception.

  • Organise your Receiving Line (if required) and the formal entry into the Wedding Breakfast.

  • Carry out Announcements, including the cutting of your Wedding Cake & your Speeches.

  • Assist with any presentations and ensure that all the presents and bouquets in available when needed.

    I can also:

  • Provide advice to the Bridegroom, Father of the Bride, and Best Man on speechwriting.

  • Discuss options with you; many things are possible, and with 17 years of experience, I can discuss with you and advise on any themes or happenings you want to take place on your special day.

  • If my Red tailcoat is too formal for you, then I am happy to wear a black tailcoat, dinner suit or lounge suit.

  • ​For Civil Ceremonies and Partnerships taking place at the same venue as your reception, I will also work with your reception venue to ensure that your guests are seated in your ceremony room at the correct time.​

Just fantastic!

Where to start… Mark was absolutely amazing - he kept our wedding day running smoothly and countless guests commented on how fantastic he was! He was also a complete joy to be around and we just loved having him there as part of our day.

Amazing Toastmaster

Mark was fantastic and we were really pleased he was able to be part of our day and made an already perfect day even better. All of our guests loved his energy and charisma. He was calm and very approachable which in turn meant we were able to take in every part of the day. Mark really knows his field as he made a few suggestions which really bought up the energy with our guests. Mark even helped me when my wedding dress got mud on it, he knew exactly what do.

The only Toastmaster you will need

We didn’t realise we wanted/needed a toast master until 6 months before the wedding. Baring in mind most suppliers were booked 18 months before hand, Mark was found to be highly recommended on all Wedding Sites we had found. He coincidently was then made a FANHAMS HALL recommended supplier a few weeks before our wedding!

Mark organised a meeting with me and my now husband to see if he felt he was a good fit for our wedding; we weren’t talking long before we knew he would be! Very funny, charismatic and witty we knew we were going to get along just fine. Mark had big plans for our wedding and helped to organise appropriate timings for the day through his many years on the job.

He ensured that our day ran smoothly and boy did he knock it out the park. He made sure everyone knew the rules from a very demanding bride and was there to help with questions when needed. He orchestrated the bridesmaid and bridal entrances, making sure everyone started walking down the aisle at the correct time. He introduced us both to everyone and started off the party that was our wedding breakfast.

During the evening he made sure everyone was exactly where they needed to be at a timely manner and took no prisoners. He even brought his boombox outside and saved the day when our DJ said he couldn’t play Coldplays ‘a sky full of stars’ which we had hoped would be on during our fireworks.

If you’re unsure if a Toastmaster is worth it, take my word for it when i say they are. If you are unsure if Mark would be a good fit for your wedding, take my word for it, he’s the only one you will ever need.

An essential part of our wedding and a dream to work with!

Mark was an amazing toastmaster for our wedding. He was recommended by our caterer who has worked several weddings with Mark. Before the day Mark had a meeting with us and helped plan out our wedding timings perfectly, he also suggested a Whatsapp group for last minute planning with our caterer and decorator. This is just some of the steps that Mark did that was so helpful for our wedding, which on the day ran smoothly and perfectly to time - so we are so grateful to Mark for this!! Mark also managed to help with crowd manouevring and keeping photos to time too. He also just made us both feel so at ease when we were nervous, and was just so friendly and kind. We definitely needed a toastmaster for our day and we were so so lucky we found Mark; we would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone!

The great man in red!

We booked Mark to be our toastmaster for our Asian wedding reception at Manor of Groves with c. 350 people. He was outstanding from making sure all the suppliers were in place, welcoming the guests, running through the itinerary and finally dealing with an extensive photo schedule. He went above and beyond and worked tirelessly throughout the night to complete our dream wedding. He was very easy to work with and very much value for money.

I wouldn’t even bother looking for another toast master, Mark is the best around. He has been the toast master at my sisters weddings, ours and will be for my brothers wedding next year, it’s become a family tradition! He Takes all the stress away from you having to worry about anything on your big day and is just brilliant. I’ve been to weddings without toastmasters and having someone like Mark honestly makes it!!

Mark was absolutely fantastic. He made sure the day ran smoothly, made sure all our guests knew what they had to do, and took away all the stress for us. My dad is no longer with us, and Mark provided the reassuring presence that I needed.

Mark is an all round genuinely nice guy and extremely good at what he does he took the stress out of our big day I didn’t have to worry about a thing he had everyone organised and lots of our guests said how good he was and how friendly and welcoming he is I definitely recommend having a toastmaster and Mark is definitely the man for the job whenever we talk about our wedding people always mention Mark and how brilliant he was.

Thank you so much to Mark, he was so amazing leading up to our wedding making us both feel at ease, the planning call was brilliant running through our whole day with Mark, he noted everything down we wanted at our wedding and also told us some helpful hints and ideas. Now to the day, Mark ensured our day ran smoothly and on time, he was so professional but also fun and kept the guests going all day and night, he did everything we asked for and also some added bits on the day which weren’t even planned but you’d never know as they went so smoothly. Everyone said how incredible he was and he was most definitely a highlight of our wedding. If you are looking for a toastmaster who has a fun and energetic personality but also a organised and professional, then look no further. You need Mark for your wedding. Mark is a must

From the first message,zoom call and then the wedding day mark was a gem 💎!!!

Made the entire day run perfectly, mark came over for any little changes on the day or to run info past us which was great. All of our guests have mentioned how smoothly our day tan and that we had not kissed any little detail.

The best of the best!

What can we say, Mark was the most incredible support to both Nick and I on our wedding day. His professionalism on both the day and the lead up to it was impeccable. It was the hottest day of year topping 30 degrees and despite this Mark maintained his attire which was incredibly professional considering this. All our guests have said how great Mark was, they felt he was helpful and gave clear directions/instructions for timings and where people needed to be etc. As a couple, we are so glad we chose Mark to be our toastmaster, we found him to relaxed, easy to get on with and honest a lovely person. We would like to take the opportunity to say thank you again for being there with us and would not hesitate to recommend Mark to anyone getting married!

Absolutely incredible!

So incredibly grateful to Mark for making our day so special, he was so on it from the moment he arrived to the moment he left. He is a true gentleman and after going through my day with him in such detailed had 100% trust that my day would be perfect.
