Good evening ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls and to Trisha and to brother Jaja.

For those who don't know me, my name is Drew and I'm the best man.

First of all, I would like to thank the bridesmaids: Wita, Margaret, Marilen, Raiza, Ronalyn and Mary Mollie; and the Maid of Honour Regine. I'm sure everyone will agree that they are looking beautiful and have done a great job in supporting Trisha and getting her here today. Indeed, they are only outshined by Trisha herself, who, I must say, looks absolutely amazing.

As for Jaja, well, what can I say, you look okay.

No, I'm just kidding, you look good – I think at least without my glasses on. Then I'd also like to thank all of you for being here today. To see this many people here at a wedding outside the Metro amazes me, I still can't get over how far people will travel for a free meal and free drinks.

Seriously though, Jaja and Trisha, seeing this many people go to all this effort just to be here to celebrate with you today is a real credit to you both. Everyone can see that this is a wonderful place to host one of the most important day of your lives.

Almost everything has a price. But moments like these are priceless. Look at you ladies and gentlemen, everyone wearing their best and feeling their best and looking best. Jaja and Trisha about to embark on a lifetime of happiness and prosperity together. This is a sight to behold and I am just glad to be here in this special day.

Now, when my Jaja picked me to be the best man, I was excited because it sounded good but I did not know what it means so I asked Google. Now here I am. No one was happier than I was when Jaja met Trisha; seeing their romance blossom was like watching a fairytale unfold, and, sure, I know what some of you are thinking, ‘What fairytale's that, Drew – Beauty and The Beast?’

Knowing him very well, if he would rename it, it would be Beauty and the Best. He always believed he was the best at something. And I believe him too – he is right. For me he has been the best brother anyone could ever have.

Together with my parents he instilled in me discipline and excellence. The two pillars of success. He taught me how to talk politely, how to think brilliantly and how to act decisively. Thank you so much dear Brother. I know you'll do the same to your future kids with Trisha.

I would also like to thank Trisha's mother for single handedly raising her into a wonderful person. And of course my parents for bringing us up into who we are now. We wouldn't be where we are now without your continued patience and support. Let us give a round of applause to the newlywed's parents please.

But before I let you go let me end my speech with a quote “Marriage is not about finding a person you can live with, it's about finding the person you can't live without.” And my brother Jaja has found exactly that in Trish. Now, if you could all please raise your glasses – and toast – to the Bride & Groom!
