The pair made their red-carpet debut as a couple at an Oscars after party in March 2024. In one of the photos, the pair can both be seen holding their hands over their mouths, indicating that they were finally revealing the secret of their relationship.

Despite the Barry Keoghan and Sabrina Carpenter age gap, the couple seem to be going from strength to strength, and it appears as though their connection is growing stronger the more time that they spend with each other.

Although the singer is always working late, she still manages to make the relationship work with her equally busy BAFTA award winning beau.

In his efforts to make her 25th birthday special, Keoghan also threw Carpenter an adorable surprise party, decorating the Brooklyn venue with yellow balloons complemented perfectly by Sabrina’s stunning yellow slip dress. Intentional or not, the colour co-ordination was perfection, so A* for effort Barry!

At Coachella this year, in true Taylor Swift style, she surprised the crowds by changing the ending lyrics of her song ‘Nonsense’, making direct reference to that infamous Saltburn scene. Coincidence, we think not!

Until this point Barry Keoghan and Sabrina Carpenter have made an effort to keep their relationship as private as possible. However, Carpenter has also revealed in a recent interview, after being asked about the challenges of navigating a relationship in the public eye, that she is in love for the first time.

Just when you think they couldn’t get more adorable, Carpenter was also spotted running into Keoghan’s arms after a show in Singapore during her Eras Tour leg. But Keoghan’s supportive boyfriend acts certainly do not end there.

At Coachella in April, Keoghan stood in front of the stage, looking as smitten as ever, and filmed Carpenter throughout her first ever set at the music festival, capturing a key moment within her career that she will undoubtedly cherish forever. It seems that she really does have him wrapped round her finger!

Was Sabrina Carpenter at Coachella?

Sabrina Carpenter performed at Coachella this year and caused quite the storm on social media! Not only because of her adorable outfits - many commenters on TikTok and other channels likened her to a 'real-life Polly Pocket' - and her flawless choreography, but also due to her reference to boyfriend Barry Keoghan.

Performing on the Friday night (19th April), she changed the lyrics to the outro of her song 'Nonsense' to reference Barry's iconic scene in Saltburn, singing 'He's drinking my bathwater like it's red wine', causing the crowd to go wild.

Barry was spotted filming his girlfriend on his phone during her Coachella debut - and it's not the first time he's been spotted supporting her. After she opened for Taylor Swift in Singapore in March, Sabrina was spotted running off the stage and straight into Barry's arms - cute!

Who is Sabrina Carpenter?

Sabrina Carpenter was born in Quakertown, Pennsylvania, and began her career as a child-star on the Disney Channel, first appearing regularly on our screens in a series called Girl Meets World.

After gaining a following for singing on YouTube, she was selected to compete in a contest called The Next Miley Cyrus Project, which ran on Miley Cyrus's YouTube channel and eventually gained Sabrina a spot on Girl Meets World. The show wasn't as successful as Hannah Montana, but she did manage to sign a five-album record deal by the age of 15 thanks to its success.

The teen sensation went on to make more music alongside her career in acting over the next few years, before finding herself in the centre of very public love triangle with her fellow Disney stars, Olivia Rodrigo and Joshua Bassett.

Olivia and Joshua had been dating a for a while before Rodrigo very publicly announced their breakup in her hit song 'Drivers License'. In the song, fans were quick to notice the lyrics that read "And you're probably with that blonde girl who always made me doubt". Rumour has it, that blonde girl was Sabrina Carpenter, who responded to this song with her own single 'Skin' shortly after.

Love triangle aside, Carpenter was now well and truly in the public eye, and went on to open for Taylor Swift's Eras Tour in Latin America, Australia, and Asia from August 2023 to March 2024. Her fame skyrocketed when she made her Coachella debut in April 2024, as she sang her viral hit 'Espresso' for the first time.

TikTok can't get enough of the popstar's catchy songs, and her latest hit 'Please, Please, Please' has made an even bigger splash, partially thanks to her new boyfriend Barry Keoghan's celebrity appearance in the music video.

Now, we're well aware that Sabrina Carpenter does not need any dance lessons. And nor does Barry Keoghan, for that matter. This year, TikTok went wild trying to learn Sabrina's unforgettable Coachella dance routine, whilst sliding across the kitchen floor Saltburn-style to Sophie Ellis-Bextor, so the pair could teach us a thing or two about dance moves.

However, that doesn't mean they won't need to practice and rehearse a show-stopping routine for their big day. When these two tie the knot, there will be high expectations for their first dance, so a little help from the professionals could go a long way. That's why we've chosen The Next Step Co. as the ideal dance teachers for this celebrity couple.

Based throughout London and Surrey, the company is equipped with professional and friendly instructors to cater for all your dancing needs. Lessons are available in-studio or from the comfort of your own home, and can be tailored to suit the couple's ability and style.
