The pair admitted they both felt extremely emotional when they saw each other. Olivia told OK! Magazine: “When we saw each other we just burst into tears. I was really trying to hold it together and compose myself”.

The tears didn’t last too long, though, as the pair partied the night away with their 200 guests, enjoying an eight-tier wedding cake and even a guest appearance from a certain former X Factor contestant… we’d expect nothing less!

The marriage of model and super-influencer Chiara Ferragni to Italian singer Fedez was big news from the moment they got engaged on stage in Verona last year. Their wedding, which was dubbed the royal wedding of Italy, took place on 1st September in Sicily.

The ceremony was open air and the pair read out vows they had written themselves. The reception was Coachella inspired, complete with fireworks, a stage, live musicians and a funfair. The bride wore a total of four dresses throughout the day, and the wedding was followed by a three-day celebration at the Dimora delle Balze – a boutique hotel with 62 acres of private gardens. Talk about a lavish do!

The Theory of Everything actress Felicity Jones married her boyfriend of three years Charles Guard in a star-studded wedding in Sudeley Castle in Glouchestershire in June. Among the guests were her on-screen husband Eddie Redmayne and his wife Hannah, and A-list pal Tom Hanks.

Felicity wore a Victoriana-style full-sleeved white dress with a sheer neckline and a frilled collar, while her movie director partner went classic in a three-piece suit.

The Rogue One star did ditch tradition in one way, by reportedly giving a bride’s speech (following in fellow 2018 bride Meghan Markle’s shoes perhaps…). The couple have kept schtum on any other details of the wedding yet.

The Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco tied the knot in June with her fiance Karl Cook in a horse-themed day at a ranch in San Diego. The couple had everything from a horseshoe-shaped altar made of flowers to their own horses on hand in the stables, which Kaley posed up a storm with.

She wore a beautiful Reem Acra white lace dress with a floor-length cape for the ceremony, followed by a gorgeous white Tadashi Shoji jumpsuit for the reception. The morning after the couple even posteda photo to Instagram wearing matching ‘KC’ denim jackets – now that’s a cute trend we’d like to see continue!

Kaley’s sister Briana got ordained online and conducted the ceremony, with her Big Bang Theory co-stars Johnny Galecki and Mayim Bialik (Leonard and Amy) watching on.

Despite Millie and Hugo being loved-up all over Instagram, social media was banned at the wedding. Made in Chelsea co-star Jamie Laing ignored the rule but only teased us with the inside of the men’s loos (they looked posh though). Other guests included Oliver Proudlock and his girlfriend Emma Connolly, Rosie and Lily Fortescue and Spencer Matthews and pregnant wife Vogue Williams.
