There are a few different factors that will impact the price of a wedding at the Ulster Museum. Good news, though - this means that you can work with the various options to find something that fits your wedding budget, allowing you to exchange vows in a memorable museum setting.

All-day wedding hire in the Belfast Room will cost around £1,500, while you can expect to pay up to £3,500 for a full day of festivities spread across the Lecture Theatre, Belfast Room, Foyer, and Atrium. And all you need to do to secure your dream wedding date is pay a deposit. This can be £100 for the ceremony only, or £500 for receptions or day-long celebrations.

Other factors that will influence the cost of a wedding at the Ulster Museum include the time of year you want to get married, as well as what day of the week you choose. Once you've settled on a date, you can then choose the event spaces that best fit the size of your guest list.

To-be-weds can host just their ceremony or reception here or spend a full day among the magic of the museum's collections. If you opt to just host the ceremony at the museum, you can add a drinks reception afterwards for an additional fee to toast to your newlywed status.

Your wedding breakfast can be handled by the talented in-house chefs and catering team. You'll be able to work closely with them to design the perfect menu of food and drink, with some of the dining options they're happy to accommodate including high teas and sharing roasts.

Where is the Ulster Museum?

Finally, where is the Ulster Museum, we hear you ask? It sits at the heart of Belfast's Botanic Gardens, a 28-acre public park near Queens University in Belfast, Co. Antrim. The museum is about one mile away from the city centre, with street parking available on the roads surrounding the gardens.

You can also make use of the gardens in your wedding photography, but wedding photographers recommend that you book a license through Belfast council to make sure you can have the space to yourself and not be disturbed by members of the public.
