Sharon the Makeup Artist

Sharon is an Irish makeup artist currently based in Sydney. Her experience includes working for makeup brands such as Benefit and MAC in department stores, before branching out to go freelance.

We love how chatty she is in her videos – and how many of them there are to watch! She covers everything you could imagine when it comes to makeup, but as she’s a recently married woman, we had to share some of her wedding themed makeup tutorials with you.

If you’re going to steal someone’s wedding makeup look, who better to copy than a makeup artist? Sharon’s actual wedding day look was super cool – we loved her lip colour (even if she thought it was too pink!).

Perhaps a more subtle or vintage look isn’t for you – that’s ok! Sharon explains how you can vamp it up on your wedding day with a sexy smoky eye. This look is great for a decadent 1920s style wedding, or a winter wedding with lots of glam details.

Hafsa is a London based makeup artist, and her YouTube channel is full of amazing Indian, Asian and Pakistani makeup looks, including the makeup she used for her own engagement party! There are also bridal hairstyle tutorials too, in case DIY-ing your wedding makeup wasn’t enough and you wanted to do your hair too…

Hafsa also has wedding guest makeup looks, so there are lots of options in case a full on bridal look is too much for you.

Pakistani Bridal Makeup Tutorial

Hafsa gives her model a super smoky eye in this tutorial. She explains it’s perfect for bridal makeup but would also work as makeup for a mehndi.

This look by Hafsa has been created as a suitable daytime wedding look for those who don’t want a heavy makeup feel but still want to look like a glamorous bride.
