Mahoney Pics is an award winning Wedding Photography and Film-making company based in Ashton-in-Makerfield, Greater Manchester, but covering the whole of the UK.
Mahoney Pics is made up of Michelle and David who are a laid-back married couple who value attention to detail and quality service, with no fuss or drama. These two award-winning photography and filmmaking ninjas are ready and eager to tell the story of your wedding day with a collection of images or films you'll want to keep and treasure forever.
Services Offered
Mahoney Pics covers weddings throughout the United Kingdom and Europe. Michelle and David offer a range of wedding packages, ranging from their bespoke options to their full-day package, perfect for couples who don't want to miss a thing. All packages include a password-protected online gallery and a branded USB containing full-resolution copies of your edited images. You can also purchase prints, albums, canvases, and wall art.

My diary is open up to two years in advance!

Yes, uK and Europe where possible
What is the charge for travelling?
Travel within a 50 miles radius of WN4 is included, beyond this mileage is charged at 45p p/mile. Overnight accommodation may be required for events finishing after 9pm beyond the 50 mile radius

Trained as a dancer and then becoming an award-winning dance film-maker I bring a sense of movement and flow to my work
What kind of equipment do you use?
I use Sony mirrorless cameras with lenses for all photography and film work, along with discreet lapel mics for film-making, we use small cameras so we can be discreet and quick!

Yes, a Personal Password Protected Online gallery

Quality and fabulous
Michelle is EXCEPTIONAL. I had followed her on social media for a few years and I saw her photography journey grow. I had already met Michelle in a previous job and knew her as a lovely, bubbly and fun person with a great vision. I had already made my mind up to have Michelle when we got engaged. The write up on Michelle's website sums her brand up perfectly, she is a 'photographer with an abundance of positive energy to help calm your nerves, keep things on track and sort any issues so you're not stressing.' This is exactly what she did. She even compromised with our rainy wedding day and took some fantastic indoor shots. The best service and quality you should expect for your wedding, but with a definite added bit of fun and pwrsonality. Could not recommend her higher! Thank you again!

Above and beyond expectations!
We organised our wedding from New Zealand. Therefore most of our wedding research was done online.
Michelle’s bio caught my attention, out of the 20 I read she was the only one who felt right to contact.
We met in person two months before the wedding. We formed an instant connection and felt assured that Michelle understood our brief and would capture our special day perfectly. Michelle went above and beyond!
We love our photographs and our New Zealand family felt as though they where with us!

We knew that our wedding day had to be captured by amazing Michelle, she has the ability to get those real natural shots but also has a wonderful energy about herself, the get up and go to get guests together for those big group shots and even creative ideas to give your photos a unique aspect. We loved them so much we even had to ask her back to be the photographer at our big birthday celebrations. Highly recommend ✨

Amazing 😍 absolute best there is 💜
We started off with our engagement pictures done by Michelle after we won a session on Instagram and oh my God this was fate they were amazing and engagement pictures featured in our wedding and there is hand on heart no one else we would of chose to do our wedding pictures. She makes you feel so relaxed, played a massive part in our wedding in general because she is just Michelle and such a beautiful lovely person! We were honored to have her there with us and give us the memories of our amazing day! Our wedding was very intimate and to us Michelle was another family member. Would 100% recommend she is amazing 😍

Amazing photographer!
Michelle was the photographer for our wedding back in March. She is amazing we would definitely recommend her!!

Wedding photographer
Michelle was fantastic! We had a pre-wedding shoot where she got to know us and give advice on what to expect on the big day. She arrived to the wedding and got to work immediately, making sure she was floating between the bridal party and the groomsmen to capture every moment, we have some very special shots that tell the story of our day from both perspectives. She managed to get candid shots which caputured the essence of our whole day. We stop looking at them all. We have had so many positive compliments from our guests about Michelle and how friendly and professional she was. l already expectations were massively exceeded! We are in LOVE with out pictures.
