From choosing Nige as our celebrant for our wedding day he was brilliant from the start! Helped us so much with information and what we needed to do and was very professional and respectful. Brilliant for price range and did more than we could ask for to make our day even more special. I very highly recommend Nigel and he will make your day even better. We couldn’t have asked for anyone better to be a part of our special day!

Where to even start! Richard was PERFECT. From the first contact to meeting with him to go over everything and then finally on the big day, Richard was SO lovely. We genuinely couldn't imagine the day without him! He was very kind and very funny, which made what could easily feel like a very stiff and boring affair more engaging and fun! Between his genuinely warm and welcoming attitude and the beautifully bespoke ceremony, he had our wedding guests laughing and crying all through the ceremony. We were also quite lucky to have hired him to stay as our host master, as he made the transition into the wedding breakfast and reception flow beautifully, even with the hiccup of a late band! He kept great control of our small bunch and got them hyped and ready for a fun night. So many of our family and friends had to rave about how much they loved him. If you're in need of a celebrant who really cares and will strive to make your day feel perfect, we would undoubtedly recommend Richard. This is a man who truly loves what he does and executes it with care!

Penny was absolutely wonderful from the moment we first met! She was so patient and encouraging as we wrote our own vows, and she shared many wise words during our planning. She made the ceremony so incredibly personal and special! Our guests gave us such wonderful feedback, and honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect ceremony! Thank you, Penny, so so much!

Julie was amazing throughout - we didn’t originally choose a celebrant but so glad we did. Our ceremony was so personal and full of love and included our daughter too. From help writing our vows to just keeping us calm on the day, we felt we could ask Julie for any help we needed! Highly recommend - thanks Julie

Jo was an absolute dream on the day, the day before and all the days before that helping us get ready. She was warm, genuine and really interested in us which is what we loved about her from the start. It didn't feel like she was just doing a job, she felt part of our story. Jo created a chat to talk to us both, met us for coffee to go through the script and was always attentive and helpful. Particularly when we needed extra help with choosing handfasting cords and double checking our vows. She even recommended us having our dogs play a part at the wedding and afterwards, it was my favourite part. Her replies, even when on holiday were fast which eased our stress. Jo even helped set up our decor when she came for a rehearsal, was super flexible when I wanted different things and was brilliant with all our friends and family. We’ve had so many compliments on how well she delivered our ceremony and how thoughtful the script was. Considering at the start of wedding planning, the ceremony was our least interested part, it was incredible. We’re so so thankful we found Jo and grateful we have our own celebrant for all that comes in the future. Best decision we made for the wedding having Jo, so stop researching and just get her booked in. Trust me, if you want laughter, happy tears and all the love !!

Louise is truly amazing at what she does. She made our experience so personal and delivered a ceremony that had our guests laughing and crying happy tears. She managed to create a ceremony script that was individual to us and summed us up. She included all the important details of our story while making the ceremony engaging and seamless. We asked for something that combined both traditional vows and non traditional parts. She created a completely bespoke script. We asked for a pagan hand fastening and to encorporate our ring bearer doggy, she did this in a way that we feel no one else but her would have done justice to. She was always on time, always responsive and so personable and warm that we felt we could trust her completely with our important day. She even emailed a few days before to check on how we were feeling. If you want a celebrant you can trust, who can deliver a tailored, engaging, funny, heart warming ceremony, she is for you! Thank you Louise, words can't express how grateful we are.

We got married at Merrydale Manor in October 2025. The whole process of booking and paying for our registrar was very straight forward. Our registrar, June, reached out to us a few weeks before our wedding and very clearly set out how to complete our profile (which made the process incredibly easy) and provided some additional information about the day. On our wedding day, we both met with June and her colleague Richard prior to the ceremony. They we both very approachable and reassuring and eased our nerves. June did an amazing job at conducting the ceremony and included a personal introduction about how we met, got engaged, etc. All our guests loved it. When it came to doing our vows and personal promises, we both felt very relaxed and they went perfectly, thanks to June and Richard's calming nature. We both loved our ceremony, it couldn't have gone any better. And would love to do it all over again!

Gill recently officiated our wedding and we couldn’t have had a bette day. We felt Gill got to know us, understood us, who we are and what we wanted, and tailored the day, it was perfect. We’re not the most traditional of people and don’t like to conform to the usual wedding norms, Gill didn’t bat an eye lid The day went as expected, Gill was so lovely, and we would highly recommend her - thank you x
