We are so pleased with our stunning photos! John was very responsive and really listened to what photos we wanted captured. He is very reliable and never doubted his work because of his professionalism. We would definitely recommend him for other people’s weddings.

We got married in June 25 and John was absolutely fabulous! He was very engaged throughout the planning process and was very accommodating for the pre meet up (which was invaluable) and really great to have had the run through at the venues and time in person to discuss what we wanted for the day, the “must have” shots and how we wanted the more formal photos to be taken (so we didn’t miss things like the cocktail hour and being with guests). During our wedding day echoing what all others have said John’s energy was brilliant and we really did feel like we had time with our guests. He captured so many fabulous natural moments with all guests. As a slightly awkward couple and not naturally comfortable in front of a camera we was fabulous in making us feel comfortable and getting the images we wanted for our day!
The photos themselves are brilliant so much so trying to pick 80ish out of 1000 plus for the album took us ages as there were to many good ones! Lol the final album was beautifully presented and great quality with John capturing the stories and all the fun, silliness, specialness and giggles that was our day!
Highly recommend John. Will definitely be hiring him again for any big events in the future 🤩🤩🤩

John was absolutely brilliant throughout the whole process right from the very first day. His skills and helpfulness went far beyond purely photographing the occasion. From actually helping us plan certain layouts for the ceremony and reception to ensure that we got some much valued time to ourselves throughout the day he was dedicated and fantastic the whole time. John was incredible, not only did we get amazing quality photos, but the service he provides from start to finish is fantastic. Due to our own availability issues, we weren't even able to meet up with John prior to the Wedding day itself. Obviously we were nervous about this and the possibility of bad weather. Our pre meeting via phone call was all we needed to put us at ease. John had a plan for everything. On the day, John felt like one of the guests, everyone loved him. He was reassuring to my elderly parents, funny and charismatic with the adults andb friendly and approachable to the kids, he didn't make any of it seem like a chore. He took control when needed to make sure we got the photos we wanted, allowed us to relax enough to actually enjoy our day, came up with great photo ideas to make use of the great venue but also listened to our requests for certain photos that were important to us. I am recommending John to any of my friends getting married and I truly hope our paths cross again. YOU WON'T FIND BETTER THAN JOHN!

We met john at a wedding fair at Stoke place and clicked instantly. He was friendly and we got a great vibe from him. He was so chilled and didn’t cause us any stress in the run up to our wedding. He was always available to contact with any questions and made time for us to have a walk round our venue to give us ideas. He was very understanding and listened to our issues with family politics 😂 On the day John kept us at ease and captured so many amazing moments. We love our photos and we absolutely love our album. We hired John for our wedding at Stoke Place in December 2024 and it was one of the best decisions we made. John’s personality was perfect for us and his sense of humour really made it fun having our photos taken which was great for us as we aren’t usually the type that like to have photos taken. John met with us at the venue a few days before the wedding to run through what we wanted to do and as he knew the venue already, he was able to walk us around the venue and he had some fantastic ideas which we ended up using for photo opportunities on the day.

We have now received our photos and they all came out brilliantly. I enjoyed that he also included some of the sillier moments of the day that we wouldn't necessarily hang on our wall but they serve as a reminder of how fun the day was!

From the get go we knew John was the photographer was the one for us! He had a really easy approach and made us feel very comfortable, neither of us particularly like having our photos taken. He took the time to ensure he knew exactly what we wanted from our photos of the big day but reminded us throughout the day we can pause photos to relax and enjoy time with our guests. It can be quite overwhelming on the day but John made us feel totally at ease and we had so much fun! If you’re looking for some fun and relaxed photos alongside the more formal John is definitely for you! I would recommend him to anyone in need of a professional and easy going photographer. Right from the first meeting we knew John was our man, he said don’t hire me if you want formal regimented photos! We loved the thought of original, spontaneous photos with fun at the heart of the day. We are mature couple, believe me being an older bride is extra nerve wracking, but John worked his magic the photos are fantastic. All our friends and family loved being with John he puts everyone at ease and true to his word made our day fun and special. Highly recommend

We absolutely loved having John with us on our special day. We booked him after our first conversation over the phone as we felt confident he would deliver exactly what we were after, and we weren't disappointed. John knew our venue well and had all the locations for great shots planned ahead to provide us with wonderful lasting memories of our day. He captured our guests enjoying themselves, the beautiful scenery of the venue as well as a variety of shots that clearly show how much fun we and everyone else had. We had a great laugh and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. We also ordered a photo album which John compiled for us and we couldn't be more pleased with the quality and selection of photos included.
