Photographing couples tying the knot fills me with so much joy. I get such a buzz from so many aspects of the day. I get just as excited about the day as you do!
My approach to wedding photography is pretty relaxed and informal. I prefer to shoot "incognito" and get those natural, paparazzi style shots, seizing those moments as they happen. Most of the time you won't even know that I'm there! However, I will still capture all of those little details you’ve planned, the portraits for your mantelpiece and of course those 'feel good' photos of you having fun.
Services Offered
Finding the right wedding photographer is such an important step of your wedding journey... and one you must get right.
I am hoping that if you are reading this, you already have a connection with my style of photography and like what you see. However, I will be with you more than your maid of honour, your parents or even your partner. I will be with you in the hectic parts of the day, the most joyus and the most intimate. I will be the one giving you the reassuring look of "you've got this" seconds before you take your first step down the aisle. I will be the one grinning from ear to ear in those little unplanned monents of overwhelming happiness (yes, I smile as I shoot!) I know how important captruing your big day is, and how important it is to get along with your wedding photographer. Therefore, all packages are tailored to you, from start to finish! All packages include high-quality and personal coverage of your beautiful day and a pre-wedding consultation to discuss your wedding plans (which can be done over the phone or face to face, whichever you would prefer).
How will I receive my photos?
The high-quality fully edited images are sent digitally via personal link sent to you by email which will showcase your photos in an online gallery. In your email you will also recieve a unique pin code so that you can download the images. There is no extra charge for this. You can also share the link with your friends and family. As well as your online gallery, you will also recieve a USB stick with all your images sent by post.
How many photos will I get?
For a full day, you will receive between 500 to 700 fully edited images. I always choose quality rather than quantity. I will choose the best from the thousands that will get taken on the day and more significant photos to tell your story.

I have always struggled with having my photo taken and have never felt particularly confident in front of a camera. But after being a bridesmaid for my sister and seeing the photos Lois captured, it really changed my mindset. Those photographs made me realise that even if you do not feel photogenic, you can still have truly beautiful photos. You just need a photographer who knows how to see people at their best and bring that out naturally. Lois does exactly that.
She is so incredibly kind while also knowing exactly when to take the lead. On a wedding day, when plans can change unexpectedly, having someone like Lois is so reassuring. She keeps everything moving smoothly while remaining calm and supportive, and you always feel like you are in safe hands.

We also were shocked to have received our sneak peeks back in less than 24 hours. It was so lovely to look through them together and relive the day so quickly. The final gallery exceeded every expectation we had, and we honestly could not be happier with our wedding photos. These are memories we will treasure for the rest of our lives.

The BEST photographer
From the moment we met you at the coffee shop 2 years before our wedding, we knew you were the photographer for us. Your work absolutely spoke for itself, but Will and I really wanted to have a photographer that we felt we gelled with, and after that initial conversation we knew we wanted to hire you! It felt like we were talking to someone we had known for years!
You put us both at ease on our wedding day with your warm presence (despite the fact it was freezing!!), and it helped us feel less awkward in front of the camera, something that wasn’t easy to do as we are awkward people!
I am leaving this review before we’ve even received our full gallery because I know it’ll be 10/10 as the pre-wedding photos, and sneak peaks, have been too.
You were hands down the best person for the job and we can’t thank you enough. I will be recommending you to everyone I know, and I really hope our paths cross again - maybe I’ll be a guest at a wedding you shoot!

Lois paid attention to all details I had given on my questionnaire. My Husband doesn’t like having his photographs taken, so we wanted mainly “in the moment” shots and wow, she did not disappoint! The photos we received are just absolutely out of this world, everything I visioned and more!

Lovely to meet you! I’m Lois... the girl behind the lens at Lois Brown Photography. I’m based in Sittingbourne, Kent, where I live with my husband Jack and our little boy, soaking up all the joyful, chaotic moments of family life. And yes, my married name is Tickle… but “Tickle Photography” didn’t quite give the elegant, romantic vibe I was going for!
Photography has been my passion for as long as I can remember. I’m all about capturing real emotion - the warmth, the laughter, the fleeting glances that make your love story uniquely yours. My style is natural, authentic, and full of heart.
When I’m not photographing weddings, you’ll probably find me running around with my cheeky little toddler or editing your gallery with a cup of tea and a good podcast playing in the background.
