We honestly couldn’t be happier with our choice of Adam as our wedding photographer.

From the very beginning, he completely understood the style we were looking for and was so open to hearing our ideas. We had a list of shots we’d love to recreate, and thanks to Adam, we managed to capture almost all of them beautifully. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble.

Adam travelled to Italy to photograph our destination wedding, capturing our relaxed pizza party where everyone got to know each other, our wedding day itself, and even our UK registry office ceremony. Looking back through the photos brings back so many amazing memories, and we’re so grateful he was there to capture every part of our journey.

He’s an absolute pleasure to work with. He made us feel completely at ease in front of the camera, communicated brilliantly throughout the whole process, and his pricing was more than fair for the quality of service and the memories he’s given us.

We genuinely couldn’t recommend Adam highly enough. If you’re looking for someone who is talented, professional, friendly and truly cares about capturing your day exactly as you imagined it, look no further.

We met a number of wedding photographers at various wedding shows before choosing Adam from A Knight’s Tale Photography. Some of the photographers we met were very theatrical and a little over the top, but what we immediately liked about Adam was how normal, genuine and down-to-earth he was. There were no cheesy follow-up emails telling us we were his “favourite couple of the day” or anything like that! His photographs spoke for themselves, and we instantly liked both him and his style.

Once we made our booking, we paid a 50% deposit and stayed in contact in the lead-up to the wedding. A couple of weeks beforehand, we met Adam at Romsey Abbey to walk through the day and discuss exactly what we wanted.

I had sent Adam a list of around 40 formal photographs that I wanted, which he was understandably a little concerned about as apparently that is quite a large list! However, I explained that many of them simply involved swapping different people in and out. On the day, we assigned our very chatty best man, Sean, to be Adam’s official helper and round everyone up for the photographs.

This worked brilliantly. Sean had the list, Adam worked with whoever happened to be nearby at the time, and he kept Sean updated on his phone with which photographs had already been taken and which were still outstanding. It meant everything ran really smoothly and, most importantly, we got all the photographs we wanted without spending hours standing around doing formal pictures.

We had originally booked Adam’s three-hour package plus an additional hour, but when we met beforehand he offered us an all-day option, which we decided to go for. I am so pleased we did.

Adam arrived with me and my bridesmaids at around 10am to photograph us getting ready, before heading to Romsey Abbey to capture my groom and his groomsmen. He then photographed our wedding ceremony inside the Abbey.

Adam mentioned that he hadn’t photographed a wedding at Romsey Abbey before, and I was initially slightly worried about whether the lighting might be difficult when he wasn’t familiar with the building. I needn’t have worried at all – the photographs inside the Abbey came out beautifully.

After the ceremony, Adam captured our confetti shot outside the Abbey and some lovely photographs before we headed to St John’s Gardens for more pictures and a celebratory glass of fizz. Some of my absolute favourite photographs of my husband and me were taken there. Adam captured us beautifully amongst the arches, flowers and greenery, and the setting looks stunning in the photographs.

At Chilworth Manor, Adam took our group photographs and, after the wedding breakfast, he took my new husband and me down into the woods during golden hour. The photographs he captured there are genuinely magical.

We even practised our first dance within a circle of trees, and Adam caught some wonderful action shots of us dancing. We loved them so much that we have had several enlarged to put on our wall. There were so many beautiful photographs taken around the grounds, gardens and woodland that choosing our favourites has been incredibly difficult. We are now creating a photo wall all the way up our stairs using Adam’s photographs.

One thing we particularly loved was Adam’s drone photograph of all our guests. It is a superb picture and something I would recommend to anyone getting married. Unfortunately, a couple of key people were missing from the shot – including my new mother-in-law, who had somehow disappeared at exactly the wrong moment! Adam was really thoughtful and suggested taking another large group photograph later when we sabred a bottle of champagne so that she wasn’t left out. He captured that moment brilliantly too, including the top of the bottle and cork flying through the air!

Adam stayed to photograph the cutting of the cake and our first dance and, throughout the day, also captured so many lovely candid photographs of our guests. We had around 115 people at our wedding and somehow he seems to have photographed nearly everybody, which is quite an achievement.

About a week after the wedding, Adam uploaded around 20 preview photographs to Instagram, set to a song of our choice. Then, once we returned from honeymoon, he sent us our full gallery containing more than 700 amazing photographs.

He also surprised us with another Instagram reel using some of our wedding photographs set to a song from Love Actually. It was such a lovely surprise and we had so many wonderful comments about it.

Adam’s service didn’t stop once the photographs had been delivered either. I contacted him about a wardrobe malfunction with my wedding dress where the cup lining was visible in a number of photographs. Adam went away and edited every affected photograph so well that you would never know there had ever been a problem. I was incredibly grateful.

I also asked him for another favour involving the photographs we had taken in the woods. As we were creating a series for our wall, I wanted to see some of the additional shots that hadn’t originally made the final selection in case they worked well as part of the sequence. Again, Adam was really helpful.

We were so grateful and impressed with Adam – from his communication beforehand, to the way he conducted himself throughout the wedding, to the quality of the final photographs.

Most importantly, his photographs tell the story of our wedding day beautifully. Looking through them takes us straight back to all the different parts of the day, and there are so many moments he captured that we didn’t even realise were happening at the time.

We are absolutely delighted with them. Rather than having all those beautiful photographs sitting in an album that rarely gets opened, we are creating a huge wedding photo wall up our staircase. When we have our Christmas party, I think it will definitely be a talking point – and I can already imagine our friends and family trying to spot themselves amongst all the pictures!

Adam was truly incredible for our wedding. His energy and humour didn’t just make us feel relaxed, but helped put the whole wedding party at ease too. He was also fantastic at helping coordinate the big moments throughout the day so we all knew we were in great hands.

And when the photos arrived, they were simply stunning. More than just beautiful images, Adam truly captured the emotions and atmosphere of the day, all of our guests loved them too.

Adam was the perfect wedding photographer. Met him at a wedding fayre where he really listened to what me and my wife wanted, and worked to our requests. On the day he was superb in managing the group photos, assertive without being bossy so we got the photos done in good time without annoying anyone. During the reception Adam captured excellent non-posed photographs, as well as some posed ones in some great locations he helped identify. The photos themselves have then all come out great, and really captured the vibe and happiness of our wedding. 10/10

We had the pleasure of having Adam as our wedding photographer in May.
We were looking for someone who would make us feel as relaxed as possible, as neither of us particularly like our photo being taken, and from the first contact Adam did just that!
Adam arranged a meeting prior to booking to ensure that he was the right fit for us. He suggested that we have an engagement shoot prior to the wedding, which really helped us to get to know him better and feel more comfortable in from of the camera.
We were looking for a short session for our late afternoon ceremony and Adam was happy to accommodate.
Adam blended seamlessly into our wedding party, despite only having small number of guests, and interacted with everyone to get the best natural shots.

I cannot recommend Adam highly enough. From the moment we met him to the moment we recieved our photos, our experience was flawless. He made us feel so at ease to the point we didn't know we were being photographed.

When we had our meeting with him to discuss who and what we wanted, he said nothing was too much trouble and accommodated our every need.

During the day he made it clear what he was doing and he made sure that all the photos were professional, such as the lighting and background were complimentary to the environment. No one looked out of place, each person was placed to compliment the picture.
