We offer a range of packages to suit different budgets and styles, from romantic rustic setup's to full-blown club quality productions. You can book an evening DJ set or full-day support, including microphones and PA systems for speeches and ceremony audio. Plus, our easy-to-use music and planning app gives you as much control as you like over your soundtrack, making sure every moment feels just right.

How far in advance should I contact you?

What is the length of time of the act?
We offer flexible options to suit your needs. Whether you require audio for the full day or a DJ for an evening reception, we have you covered. Our standard evening reception is 5 hours
How much time do you need to prepare for an act?
Minimum setup time required for the equipment is between 1 and 2 hours. Earlier arrival is preferred to allow ample time for light and sound checks. This ensures a flawless performance for you

Press Record Live were a pleasure to work with, from start to finish, curating the perfect set from our song choices that kept the dance floor filled all night. The rustic DJ set up looked just the part in our tipi too.
A huge shout out to Matt for accommodating the groom's last minute requests to sneak in those hospital radio jingles from the bride's teenage years - it was hilarious and such a great surprise.
We’re so pleased we found Press Record Live, and not only because we got a top class DJ at our wedding, but they also manage Soul Gravy, who were insanely good. They made a great team, were thoroughly lovely folks, and created a vibe that was perfect for us and our family. Highly highly recommend!

Fantastic DJ and set
Matt and Natalie were on point with their service, very friendly and flexible with their service, me and my husband planned every single song ranging from 70s/80s/90s/00s and asked for a “metal hour” at the end to indulge in our favourite genre. Matt organised the music perfectly throughout the night and it was a huge bonus to know he had similar music taste to us, the strobe light was very fitting towards the end! All our guests loved the music and had a blast. Thank you both for giving us a night to remember! Highly recommend!

Feet ache from dancing all night
Matt DJ-ed our wedding on 11.10.25 in York.
From the very first consultation call, through to the day, Matt was an absolute pleasure to work with. The app made it incredibly easy to select songs we wanted (and ones we didn't!) and Matt understood the vibe we were looking for immediately.
On the day, he arrived promptly and liaised with the venue directly to avoid us becoming the middle people, making it all very easy and stress free. He mixed songs expertly, kept the dance floor full and energised all night, banger after banger. He timed it all perfectly and had everyone chanting for one more song.
The set up was brilliant - the lights added so much atmosphere to the dancefloor as well.
It truly made the celebration - we all had the best time.

Perfect DJ for our wedding
Natalie and Ben were so friendly and helpful when we were planning the music for our reception. The vrbo app they sent us was really useful for putting our song requests on for different stages of the night. They’re great value for money, we went with the classic package which was perfect for us.
Ben was amazing at reading the room and adapting the music to suit, our dance floor was busy all night thanks to him. And he kept us in the loop with regards to timings when our night do started later than planned.
We’d highly recommend them!

Great service!
Press record live were amazing from beginning to end. Their planning app was great and the team checked in with us at various points to manage our expectations and vice versa. Ben our DJ really got our vibe and lots of dancing and fun was had. Thanks so much

Incredible DJ!
I just wanted to say a huge thanks for blasting out banger after banger at our wedding last Monday. Every single person had the best time!! You’re fab at what you do and you’re extremely personable which was hugely important to us when looking for vendors for our special day so thank you. Matt Made Our Day Unforgettable
Booking Matt from Press Record Live for our wedding at Wyresdale Park was one of the best decisions we made. From the very first chat he was warm, friendly and professional and really took the time to understand the kind of music and atmosphere we wanted for the day. It immediately made us feel confident that he would get it just right.
On the day, Matt was brilliant. He read the room perfectly, keeping everyone from our youngest guests to our oldest dancing all evening. Guests kept commenting on how smoothly the music flowed with no awkward transitions or sudden songs that cleared the floor as you can sometimes have. The playlist was a great mix of our favourites and classic hits and everything from announcements to special dances ran seamlessly. The rustic DJ booth fitted in beautifully with the style of our venue, adding to the overall look and feel of the day.
Matt was also incredibly easy to work with. Friendly, calm, and flexible he took away any stress about the music and made everything feel effortless. So many guests commented on how much they enjoyed the music and we couldn’t agree more. an’t thank Matt enough ! Not only was he an amazing DJ, he arranged regular catch ups and made a huge effort to understand the type of music I wanted!
