Press Record Live were a pleasure to work with, from start to finish, curating the perfect set from our song choices that kept the dance floor filled all night. The rustic DJ set up looked just the part in our tipi too.
A huge shout out to Matt for accommodating the groom's last minute requests to sneak in those hospital radio jingles from the bride's teenage years - it was hilarious and such a great surprise.
We’re so pleased we found Press Record Live, and not only because we got a top class DJ at our wedding, but they also manage Soul Gravy, who were insanely good. They made a great team, were thoroughly lovely folks, and created a vibe that was perfect for us and our family. Highly highly recommend!Press Record Live's reply:

From the start, Natalie was so organised and helpful. She guided us through everything which was exceptionally helpful as we’d never booked a DJ before. There was loads of packages to help find what suited your budget. The app we used was a dream and made planning our music so easy and stress free. We instantly felt comfortable and knew we found the right supplier. We booked for a ceremony & evening reception.
Matt was amazing and just perfect on the day! There was a last minute change for our ceremony to be indoors due to the rain and was able to adapt instantly! He listened to exactly how I imagined the aisle music to go. Taking us through into the evening, everything was timed perfectly! He read the room so well and kept a seamless flow of energy throughout the night. He was friendly, funny, and made us feel completely at ease. Even our last minute request of 2000s hip hop when the young ones decided to party on was delivered instantly.
We genuinely can’t thank you both enough! You made our day so memorable at Inn on the Lake. We will absolutely be recommending Press Record Live to anyone planning a wedding for high quality service, professionalism and value for money!! 💒 🎉💗🎶 -

We hired Press Record Live for our wedding and Ben was absolutely wonderful from start to finish.
We had multiple online meetings beforehand to go through music choices, which made the whole process feel easy and really personalised. Ben took the time to understand exactly what we wanted, and the mixing on the night was spot on – all of our favourite songs flowed perfectly and kept the dance floor full.
We went for the club-style setup, which was honestly insane and completely transformed the evening atmosphere. It felt like a proper party, and our guests absolutely loved it.
The glowsticks were also a huge hit and added such a fun energy to the night – everyone got involved.
We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ and would highly recommend Press Record Live to anyone wanting an unforgettable wedding party. -

We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ than Matt for our wedding! From start to finish, he was absolutely brilliant.
One of the highlights for us was the app. It was such a success and allowed us to easily inject our own style of music into specific parts of the evening. It felt completely "us."
Matt’s attention to detail is what really sets him apart. For the first dance he expertly looped the beginning of our track, which took all the pressure off and allowed us to get onto the dance floor at exactly the right moment.
He even looped our last song to keep the magic going just a little bit longer! We didn't want it to end!
We opted for the Rustic Package, and it was the perfect aesthetic match for our wedding theme. It looked incredible in the venue.

Fantastic DJ and set
Matt and Natalie were on point with their service, very friendly and flexible with their service, me and my husband planned every single song ranging from 70s/80s/90s/00s and asked for a “metal hour” at the end to indulge in our favourite genre. Matt organised the music perfectly throughout the night and it was a huge bonus to know he had similar music taste to us, the strobe light was very fitting towards the end! All our guests loved the music and had a blast. Thank you both for giving us a night to remember! Highly recommend!Press Record Live's reply:

We are so grateful to Press Record Live for helping make our wedding night unforgettable. Matt was absolutely wonderful — he kept the atmosphere electric from start to finish and read the room perfectly.
He worked seamlessly with our other suppliers, making everything feel effortless on the day. As a true one-man band, he set up everything himself and handled so many different elements without a hitch.
The music choices and DJ set were incredible, keeping everyone on the dance floor all night. And the cold sparks were stunning — they added such a magical touch to an already fantastic setup.

Feet ache from dancing all night
Matt DJ-ed our wedding on 11.10.25 in York.
From the very first consultation call, through to the day, Matt was an absolute pleasure to work with. The app made it incredibly easy to select songs we wanted (and ones we didn't!) and Matt understood the vibe we were looking for immediately.
On the day, he arrived promptly and liaised with the venue directly to avoid us becoming the middle people, making it all very easy and stress free. He mixed songs expertly, kept the dance floor full and energised all night, banger after banger. He timed it all perfectly and had everyone chanting for one more song.
The set up was brilliant - the lights added so much atmosphere to the dancefloor as well.
It truly made the celebration - we all had the best time. -
