From your first enquiry at The Midland, your personal wedding coordinator will be by your side, helping turn your dream wedding into a reality. As a couple, you’ll spend your wedding night in our Bridal Suite, with stunning city views and luxurious furnishings. With a total of 312 bedrooms, there’s also room for your wedding guests to unwind at The Midland once the party is over, so you can re-live the whole day again over breakfast

Amazing exprience

Me and my wife got married here 3 weeks ago, we had several meetings in the run up to our wedding but on the day they were amazing! The wedding coordinator and her team made sure that everything an smoothly, they ensured all of the guests were looked after and went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing day. I would highly recommend getting married here!

Excellent service and stunning venue

The venue is absolutely stunning, however it doesn't stop there as the service is absolutely seamless. All of our guests commented how amazing the team are. Nothing was ever too much trouble. They made us feel so special I cannot recommend this place enough it will always hold a special place in my heart.

Incredible Wedding at The Midland!

We recently held our wedding at The Midland Hotel with the ceremony in the Trafford Suite, followed by the evening dinner and dance in the Alexandra Suite. We have been absolutely blown away. Our coordinator from the hotel Alicia is truly unbelievable and we are so grateful to her for delivering the day of our dreams. We could not recommend Alicia, her team and The Midland more- they truly work their magic and go above and beyond. Thank you so much! Xx

A wonderful wedding at The Midland!

What can I say really...everything about The Midland was perfect; from Alicia greeting us on that first day to the end of the night on our wedding day, everyone and everything about The Midland was and is exquisite. They make you feel so welcome and they are genuinely happy for you. The packages they offer are so helpful as they do out of season packages as well as the seasonal ones which was perfect for our March wedding. The decor is amazing but that goes without saying. The food is incredible and possibly one of the best meals I've had in my life and as my husband and I are both Muslim, they catered for our halal diet which was amazing! The organisation is outstanding and whenever I had any questions or wanted to set up a meeting it was very easy and straightforward, and there's always someone on hand to help out. I can't imagine my wedding being anywhere else and I am so glad and grateful that we chose The Midland to host our wedding day. There is absolutely nothing that I would change; it was perfect. Thank you so so so much to Alicia and the team; you truly made this day the best day of our lives. Love Raven and Alaa xoxo

The Perfect City Centre Wedding Venue

After taking our time to look for a city centre venue and even cancelling one location we weren’t particularly impressed with we were so happy to secure The Midland. From the perfect city centre backdrop, stunning interiors, good food and customer service we absolutely made the right decision.

Once we’d been introduced to our wedding co ordinator our experience with The Midland was super professional and easy. Just what we needed when planning a wedding.
Alicia was particularly professional, always on the ball and ready to respond to your every question and need. Her enthusiasm also ensured you felt excited throughout the build up to your special day. She’s a credit to The Midland.

The only issue we encountered and I made it clear at the time, I wasn’t happy with the chair situation. The Midland only offer conference chairs, not shown in the images. It’s costly to bring in your own which is an expense we budgeted for but they also can’t guarantee storing your chairs before the day, this can lead to weekend charges and the stress of knowing you’re still awaiting for chairs to arrive. Whilst our grievances were acknowledged we felt no one cared about how frustrating this was.

We want to thank the whole team for ensuring our day went without a single fault and creating some very special memories.

Excellent service in timeless classy venue

We were delighted with our experience at the Midland. It is a beautiful, stylish venue with a classic elegance. Being licensed for wedding ceremonies meant that we could have our whole day at the hotel, and being so central made it very convenient for our guests.

The service from all of the staff before and during the day was top notch. Special shout out in particular to our planner Alicia who was patient, helpful and efficient throughout, and also to pthe team who oversaw the programme on the day.

The hotel was fully booked on the weekend of the wedding, including the Australian Rugby League World Cup squad, but the service on the day was flawless. The meal was excellent, and the bar and waiting staff did a great job.

We've had nothing but positive comments from guests since the wedding about the food and the whole experience. I suppose there are cheaper options than the Midland, but we don't plan to marry again any time soon and we think it was great value for what we had.

Friendly, stylish and great value for money

We were thrilled with our wedding day at the Midland Hotel! We wanted a stylish and elegant affair at this classic venue and were delighted by the responsive and professional service provided by our plovely wedding co-ordinator Alicia Evans for whom nothing was too much trouble.

Incredible

I booked my entire wedding at the Midland, my in-house wedding co-ordinator was amazing from beginning to end and our day was spectacular from start to finish. I couldn’t recommend them more!!

Due to the pandemic the wedding was rearrange and the service was great. Once we had a permanent wedding coordinator all the planning went smoothly.

Eleanor was fantastic with organising the big day and staff couldn’t be more helpful. The bar staff were great on the night! The venue looked amazing !

Thank you sooooooooooooo much. You made our wedding journey so special and I was over the moon to see you on the Big Day, particularly when I was heading into the Ceremony

Your team were great on the day. I think there was a bit of an issue with some of our guests declaring food issues/allergies, which might have delayed things slightly - I do apologise for that! Everyone was lovely (particularly the 2 hosts - I’m sorry, I’ve forgotten their names!) - and I can’t tell you how many of our guests, who hadn’t been into the Midland, were impressed with the venue. Myself and Wayne will keep popping back for a drink/coffee and of course we’ll have to stay over for our anniversary on 28th April each year! I also bought the champagne afternoon tea for our parents J

I wasn’t expecting a refund! Bonus - thank you very much J

I hope to see you again Nina, you genuinely are an asset to the hotel - they’re lucky to have you.

We had a wonderful time

Many thanks for all of your time and support in planning our special day.

We had a wonderful time and both thoroughly enjoyed the day. We would both like to do it all again !!!!

Thanks for the refund – which we have now received.

• The meal at Mr Coopers was delicious and they were well organised with our tables and eating arrangements – thanks to them!
• Daisy was just fantastic and worked really hard to keep our timings on track – she was brilliant – please can you thank her from us?
• The bar staff in the Trafford Room (Donna – I think) were AMAZING! They were especially attentive to Darren and I which we both appreciated. I believe there was a complaint from one of the guests about beer – please disregard this … I think they were FAB!!!!

We had an amazing day

Good Afternoon Nina

We had an amazing day (went too quick)! All the staff were extremely helpful and made us feel at ease. I would also like to point out how personable they were with us, it really did make our day special.
Lots of people commented on what a great venue we chose. We would happily recommend to people who are looking to get married.
We really couldn't have asked for more.

Also thank you for helping us organise etc, you made it quite easy and clear (more Becky than me).

The most perfect day

Hi Nina

We are just returning from our ‘minimoon’ so I wanted to take a minute to email you and say thank you for everything. Our wedding last Saturday was the most perfect day. We enjoyed every second of it. The hotel and its staff made the day so easy and enjoyable and we wouldn’t change a thing about our big day.

Please can you also pass on our personal thanks to the staff running the event on the day. They were absolutely fabulous and treated us like royalty.

We considered a few venues when we were booking our wedding last year and I just don’t think any other venue would have even come close to the experience we had last week. Everyone should get married at The Midland!

We will be back next year for our anniversary.

Thank you again for all your help and kindness. I’ll bombard you with photographs as soon as I have the official ones back!

Wedding staff were incredible

Hi Nina,

Thank you so much for everything you did for us, you really are amazing!! We had an incredible wedding and all the staff on the day of the wedding were brilliant, they really helped to make the day so special!

The wedding food was fantastic and the service we received from all the wedding staff was incredible too (also the super lovely porter whose name escapes me. He helped us carry out our stuff and our wedding cake and he was helping me to get in and out of the wedding car).

Once again we can’t thank you enough, you’re an absolute star and you’ve helped us so much, I can’t tell you how much we appreciate it.

Thankyou so much for everything Nina we really appreciate all your help in planning our wedding and making sure everything went perfectly :)
Honestly we could not fault anything about our day in any way! Everything went perfectly and all the staff were wonderful, so helpful and went out of their way to make sure we were happy with everything. The food was delicious and they even kept the residents bar open for us until 6:30am haha!
Everybody has commented on how good the day was and how friendly all the staff were. We so wish we could do it all over again!!!
Aw yes we are having a lovely time - we were out all day yesterday on the beach with the dogs so we were all shattered by the time we got back!
