My partner and I chose Paul to lead our recent humanist wedding ceremony. All I can say is wow and thank you Paul. From our first chat over zoom, I knew he was the right person to tell our story with his lovely mix of geordie warmth, intelligence, kindness and empathetic approach, his calm and gentle demeanour and his cheeky sense of humour. Paul really listened and captured what the day meant to us so, so beautifully and was a joy to work with and very graceful amid my irritating red penning! On the day he really was a grounding and serene presence too. It was a real pleasure to work with Paul and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him particularly if you’re interested in taking a humanist approach to your wedding.

Alison is a warm, kind and caring lady who perfectly conducted our wedding ceremony. She spent time getting to know us before the ceremony and was very detailed with what she needed from us to ensure the ceremony was personal and true to us. She gave us time and opportunity to edit our ceremony script if needed and also very kindly printed off our vows for us. She’s very professional and friendly and was such a joy to work with. Thank you so much Alison for helping make our day so special!

I cannot describe what a fantastic ceremony Sarah delivered for us. She took the time to get to know us as a couple and this was portrayed in our very personalised ceremony. Sarah was so calming, she showed her experience and offered advice and ideas. Everyone loved our ceremony which had an Islamic element to it (not performed by Sarah) however the way in which she prepared ensured that the ceremony was flawless and just flowed. Everyone shared how great they thought Sarah was. Sarah incorporated everything that we wished for and more and no request was too much for her. She even found us Islamic poems for my children to read.. just perfect! She ensure that the ceremony had a romantic vibe with elements of comedy which was exactly what we wished for. I honestly cannot recommend Sarah enough. Thankyou so much x

Where to start…Sarah was amazing! The attention to detail, the engagement with the whole room but most importantly the love that Sarah put in to the ceremony made it one to remember! I have never laughed and cried so much at the same time. Thank you for everything and for making the wedding such a perfect day! ❤️

Rachael was our celebrant for our humanist ceremony and she was absolutely fabulous! When we decided on a humanist wedding, we found her in our area and after our first Zoom meeting, felt she would be perfect as our celebrant. She made the planning process so easy, and she spent time getting to know us and our story. She completely understood what kind of ceremony and wedding we were after, and she was brilliant at finding ways to include all the ideas we'd had! On the day, she was calm and professional, and delivered the most amazing ceremony - from our story, to the music, readings and wedding rituals, to the vows and promises we made each to other, the ceremony felt so personal and joyful. We had so many lovely comments from guests - that it was completely unique and unlike anything they'd been to before, which was what we wanted! We would absolutely recommend Rachael as a celebrant - our day was completely joyful, full of love, laughter and happy tears, and Rachael was definitely a huge part in creating the special day we had imagined.

Thank you so much for being a part of it! You kept it so stress free for us. Which is just amazing considering how close it was to the day. Your ideas and information you sent over put our minds at ease and even when we were nervous about saying our own words you helped and I am so happy you did because the words were beautiful.

One of the best decisions we made was having Jo as our celebrant for our Wedding in July. The ceremony was the thing we both were most nervous about, but those nerves vanished as soon as we met her. It felt like we had known her all our lives - and the ceremony she delivered is something we'll remember for the rest of our lives. It was so heartfelt, personal, and more than we ever imagined it to be. She is an incredibly special (and fabulous!) person and we're so glad she was such a big part of our day. To this day people talk about how lovely our ceremony was! If you're thinking about a celebrant - it has to be Jo! We can't thank you enough ❤️

Gemma was so helpful friendly and down to earth. We loved what she wrote for our ceremony, everyone one has commented on how lovely the service was. Gemma even help me and the bridesmaids finish off getting ready, even after the service she helped calm me down and was lovely. We couldn't recommend her enough

I stumbled on Joanne whilst on the hunt for the 'right person' to do our ceremony. I wanted someone articulate, confident, who was a natural and at home in front of an audience. When we first spoke nothing seemed to much trouble, in fact she welcomed doing things differently, if we so desired. There really was no right or wrong way to do it. Having been together 23 years, we probably weren't a typical bride and groom. But, with her indepth questionnaires, Joanne was able to get us thinking and ultimately provide her with content, which she could carefully craft, make sense of and write an interesting and often humerous intro, for our guests on exactly how we met. The service was filled not only with laughter, but great sentiment and love - exactly what we wanted. We felt Joanne was great value for money, for all her time and the calibre of the work she produced. Joanne made the whole experience of sorting out the service, easy and enjoyable.

We had the absolute honor of having Sarah as the celebrant for our special day in Northumberland. We had so many guest comments about the ceremony, saying it was the best and most romantic ceremony many of our guests had been to (including some with their own married children!). There were a lot of tears and also laughter which Sarah balanced beautifully! Sarah, just by nature, is a romantic, positive and warming soul to naturally bring life to your ceremony without effort or force. From step 1 of the process, she was incredibly engaged and really wants to understand her couple’s journey so she can curate the perfect celebration for you both without it being cliché. You do not feel like a number or a ‘booking’… she truly wants to make the day magical. We had a slight hiccup with a change of venue manger just a few days before our wedding, and Sarah was the first one there for the handover to support us in ensuring the new manager understood exactly what needed to be done. She was so supportive to our younger members of the bridal party doing readings and ring bearing on the day, which really meant a lot to us! Sarah is an all-round superstar celebrant and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. Thank you Sarah! Xx
