Hello, I'm Gemma Jay and I’ve worked in the Wedding & Events Industry since 2009 both as a freelance planner and as wedding and event coordinator in hotels and venues across the North East and have been involved in hundreds of weddings over that time, and won a handful of awards along the way! My Celebrant journey began back in 2018 and I'm now a full time Wedding Celebrant. I’m obsessed with all things wedding and love nothing more than personalising ceremonies to suit a couples individual style.

Your Wedding Ceremony should tell your love story and represent you as a couple. With a Celebrant led ceremony you have the freedom to fully express yourselves and create your vision for your celebration. With a degree in Performing Arts, I also specialise in themed weddings and cosplay and am happy to discuss and explore this option with you.

As an Independent Celebrant working primarily across the North East, I specialise in creating unique and memorable ceremonies for couples and families.

I will work with you to create the perfect ceremony that reflects your life and love for each other. Religious, or not, interfaith, quirky, spiritual, themed, outdoors, cosplay, you choose.

Together we will create a ceremony that is a reflection of who you are and provides you with a lifetime of magical memories.

I trained with and am a member of the Fellowship of Professional Celebrants and work within a set of standards for best practice and professionalism in Celebrancy.
