I’m Kizzy Riley, the celebrant behind With Kizzy, based in Darlington, County Durham. I create personal wedding ceremonies filled with warmth, colour and joy, with words that sound like you and moments that mean something.

My approach is creative, contemporary and relaxed. Think heartfelt promises, a little laughter and those lovely details that make your guests smile and say, “That is so them.” Whether you picture something beautifully intimate or a celebration bursting with personality, we’ll create a ceremony that feels right for you.

It all starts with getting to know you both. How you met, what makes you laugh, what you’ve navigated together and what you love about the life you’re building. You don’t need a dramatic proposal or a fairy-tale romance. Often, it’s the everyday moments that tell the best stories.

Working with me means having someone who listens, brings ideas and helps you feel comfortable throughout the planning. With a background in marketing, storytelling and events, I bring creativity and organisation in equal measure, giving the words and the practical details the care they deserve.

Together, we can weave in personal vows, favourite readings, music and symbolic touches such as handfasting or a sand ceremony. We can find thoughtful ways to involve children, welcome loved ones into the ceremony and remember those who cannot be there. Every element should have a reason to belong.

I welcome couples of all backgrounds, identities and beliefs, and I’ll take time to understand what matters to you. If being the centre of attention makes you nervous, we’ll plan with that in mind, too.

Alongside wedding celebrations, I also create vow renewals, an opportunity to honour everything your relationship has become and the adventures still ahead.
