Reviews for Isabella Grace Bridal
Fantastic dress experience, not a lot of veil choice
The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is because of my experience then trying to find accessories and a veil. This was a separate appointment with different staff, and there were very few options available. Only classic veil styles (no drape or cape), and none in the right colour for my dress (pale ivory), with no creative suggestions for what to do about it. I had a veil included with the purchase price of my dress so took one away anyway as a backup but ended up buying one elsewhere. More support here would have led to a happier experience overall.
A princess for the day.
I found my dream dress and felt like a princess on my special day.
The most amazing experience for buying my wedding dress
My first interation was before my appointment when store manager Nicky called me to reassure me about trying on dresses as a curvier girl and how wedding dress sizes are ridiculous! This instantly made me feel like I'd made the right decision.
When I arrived, fairly nervous, with my bridesmaids, we were treated like VIP guests. From a selection of 6 dresses prior to the visit, Sharon the assistant handed me 'Sally' by Stella York, the dress that drew me to the shop. I was nervous about trying it on first but Sharon said if it's what I'm drawn to, we should go for it first - what a coincidence she handed me the dress first!
The emotions came flooding out, I didn't know you could get 'the feeling' with a dress but both myself and my bridesmaids were in floods of tears and it's genuinely the most beautiful I had felt (before my wedding day of course).
Deal done, first dress and I said yes. Isabella Grace were amazing working with the order of dress, helping me understand measurements and how I wanted the dress to fit.
I can't recommend Isabella Grace highly enough. I've never felt more beautiful (and comfortable) than I did on my wedding day. They made an experience that I thought would be horrific into one of the best.
Dream Dress
Beautiful boutique that helped me find the ‘one’!
Once They Have Your Money, They Simply Don't Care – Avoid Isabella Grace
From the beginning, we were led to believe we were getting more than just a dress — we were sold the idea of a full bridal service. Carrie, the assistant, clearly implied we’d receive support from purchase through to the destination wedding, including help with packing the dress and in-house alterations (which we always understood would be at an additional cost). That level of service was a key reason we chose this boutique. But once the dress arrived, everything changed.
We were told the balance had to be paid immediately, with two options: collect the dress or pay storage fees. Veil fittings? No appointments available before or during collection. No flexibility, no care.
My daughter never even had the chance for the simple, memorable “She said yes to the dress” photo moment. When I asked during collection if we could take a quick photo with the sign, the response was: “Only if you’re quick.” It felt rushed, dismissive, and entirely joyless.
The alterations process was also misleading. While their Sales Agreement clearly states:
“Alterations. No alterations are included in the price, and these will therefore be at an additional cost,”
we were led to believe they would be handled in-house by their seamstress. That turned out not to be the case — and once again, told you need to find a seamstress.
Later, when I contacted the shop to ask what veil would suit the dress — which we bought from them — suddenly they had availability for an appointment. Clearly, only if there’s more money to be made.
Once Isabella Grace takes your money, the customer service stops. There is no accountability for misleading information, no flexibility, and no real care for the bride.
Yes, the dress was beautiful — but thankfully, Milla Nova has other suppliers.
The experience at Isabella Grace was anything but. I would not recommend this shop to any bride looking for genuine support, service, or respect.
