Mobile Sounds Wedding and Discos is an Multi Award wedding DJ and entertainment specialist based in Midlothian. We cover the East of Scotland, West Lothian, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Fife, East Lothian and the Scottish Borders. We have had brides and grooms from all over the UK, USA, and Australia , who have been married in the East of Scotland. We have brought the best elements from these weddings and incorporated them with our unique take on weddings. The East coast of Scotland is full of fantastic venues and castles.
We strive to provide a bespoke experience so couples and their loved ones can make unforgettable memories. Mobile Sounds Wedding and Discos understands how important your magical event is and will ensure you love every song you hear on your big day.

Services Offered
Mobile Sounds Wedding and Discos typically performs for up to four hours, giving you and your guests plenty of time to have fun on the dance floor.
Your DJ can arrange to stay on-site for longer if that better fits your needs. We will tailor the night to suit your tastes in music, equipped with state-of-the-art sound systems to guarantee a quality performance every time.
You can also hire a stylish photo booth, audio guest book, secret singing waiters, pipers, a sax player, ceilidh band or a ceilidh caller for your milestone occasion and we can work with these providers.
We work with couples which include LGBTQ+. We are an inclusive company and give our all to every couple.

We have 3 packages:
Intimate Wedding
Includes a personal consultation, small DJ Booth, a professional and experienced DJ, play out system, smaller sound system, and lighting effect to create a fun, memorable and lively atmosphere for you and up to twenty guests. Master of Ceremonies, Bride and Groom entrance From 3/4 hours.
Saltire Package 7pm to midnight
is a step up from our Intimate Wedding package and includes all the features of the intimate package, standard DJ Booth plus additional lighting effects, and a personalized playlist and up to one hundred guests. Master of Ceremonies Family Entrance Package, Bride Vs Groom Dance off and Mr and Mrs Package. From 5 hours
Tartan VIP package 4pm to Midnight
is the ultimate wedding disco experience, includes all the features of the Saltire package with extra consultations, Truss DJ Booth, featuring a professional sound system suitable for the venue, state-of-the-art lighting effects, and a dedicated professional and experienced DJ to keep the party going all night long, a larger playlist and take requests on the night for up to two hundred guests. Master of Ceremonies Full Entrance package, Music Bingo, Bride Vs Groom Dance off, Mr and Mrs Package
No matter which package you choose, we promise to deliver an unforgettable night of music, dancing, and celebration. We want you and your guests to be smiling and laughing.
The price range for our wedding packages varies depending on the package, add-ons, event length, location, and DJ's experience. Yes, there are add-ons that can be included in our wedding DJ package. You can add an extra time if you want to dance until 1am. Some of the add Ons we can offer can be found in the Service Guide.
Services that are included in the wedding DJ package are: equipment hire, delivery and setup. At the end of the night, we do the reverse, offsite preparation, limited travel. This adds an additional six hours, (average 11 hours per evening wedding). Need access to the venue from 5:30/6pm to be able to set up which can take from 45 to 90 minutes.
All venues require public liability which we have £10 million cover through my membership of AMPDJ and all the equipment has been electrically tested (PAT Certificate). Certificates available upon request.
I would be happy to provide you with an accurate final cost quote based on your specific requirements. If you have not already done so, please provide us with location, and times and a date if possible. Once I have received your detailed requirements, I will provide you with a timely and competitive cost for your consideration.

If you decide you want to book, I can send you a booking form with the bank details to pay the booking fee of £100. This secures the date, and I do not take any other bookings for that night. I will send you a Wedding Party Planner to make your night entertainment more personal; this is where you list your personal requests, including the entrance song and first dances. After 24 hours when the booking fee has been paid and the booking form returned, I will confirm the booking. Balance is due 60 days prior to the event.
