The food was incredible!
We decided to have all veggie food as me the bride is veggie and a lot of our guests are not veggie, the guests were skeptical of all veggie food however everyone loved it and even requested any leftovers!
The food was unbelievable, so delicious and everyone was so a tentative to us in the day and nothing was too much trouble!
We had so many compliments on the food, the best food I’ve ever had and wish I could have it everyday 😊

You guys truly are the best of the best. The service and food for our wedding day, and all communication leading up to the day was phenomenal! We have had soooo many compliments, everybody was blown away! Thankyou so much for everything, we wish we could do it all again to have you back! You even went above and beyond making our toddler some chips to keep her going before the ceremony, a small thing on a big day that I will always be grateful for!

We got married in the 13th September 2025 at Sandhole Oak Barn and what can I say apart from Top Table is the best at what they do from the food to the event co-ordination of our day everything was just amazing! All of our guests commented on how fantastic the food was throughout the day which is one of the main things from a wedding guests remember, I still have people now telling me they could eat that meal again. Jake and his team were absolutely amazing on the lead up to our big day and everything went absolutely perfect. We got everything we asked for and more, they were so considerate of me and my husband all day making sure we had everything we needed. We can’t thank you enough for making our wedding the best day of our lives.

We can't thank Top Table Weddings & Events enough for catering our wedding at The Oak Tree Of Peover on 30th August 2025. They were fabulous from the start, catering to our every request. Jake was our wedding coordinator and was brilliant during the lead up, and on the day.

The breakfast received lots of compliments, especially for the custom TGI Friday's Sesame Chicken starter!

Top table has been amazing before, during and after our BIG day! True to name, they’re TOP! They have been there for us especially Jake (our coordinator) from the start which includes planning, meal tasting and decorations on the day. The staff never let any glasses go empty on our wedding breakfast and they were very attentive! Jake helped me calm my nerves down and assured me that the decorations will be fine of which it was! He also made sure the aisle song will be played at the exact moment! Food wise? It was spot on! Guests mentioned it was delicious! I highly recommend the team from Top Table - it made our wedding day smooth sailing and even more memorable! I was able to enjoy the day very well! Thank you guys!

Our experience with Top Table had both positives and negatives. The planning process was great – they were very responsive and helpful throughout. On the day itself, Lucy, our coordinator, was fantastic. She kept everything running smoothly and was a real support to us, which we truly appreciated.

The menu was very good. Both we and our guests especially enjoyed the dessert, the cheese table was excellent, and the evening BBQ was also a highlight. These touches made the meal enjoyable and memorable.

Unfortunately, the bar and drinks service was problematic. The management of the tab was unclear and, at times, felt questionable. When it came to paying, there was no proper breakdown of the charges, and beers that I had personally bought and pre-agreed to provide were still being added to the tab. I noticed this when ordering one of the beers I had supplied. When I enquired about leftover drinks, I was initially handed two boxes of wine, only to be told later this was a mistake. The cocktails, particularly the limoncello spritz, were also of very poor quality.

Another issue was with the vegan and gluten-free cakes. They were not displayed, and we were never informed that guests had to specifically request them. As a result, they went uneaten, which was very disappointing.

Overall, while the food was good and Lucy’s coordination was excellent, the lack of transparency with the bar and the poor handling of some key details left us underwhelmed.

Grace was excellent on the day, thank you so much! She was friendly and approachable, and calm, and made the day run smoothly and feel special.

The food was excellent - so many of our guests commented on how fantastic it was. All of our guests with dietary requirements and allergies were catered for (vegan, allergies etc). We really enjoyed the food tasting before the wedding and this helped us pick our menu. We were also able to order Asti for toasts instead of champagne and this was great. The canapes were delicious and served around the guests (and brought to us!), and the evening food was pizza which was easy to eat on the go!

We highly recommend toptable for a smoothyl executed day.

The thing that could be improved is having a set person who will run your day be designated to the planning earlier, as before this (maybe a month before the wedding), anyone would pick up emails and the repsonses. And this was quite often a different person. The reponses were quick, but it would have been nice to have one person overseeing it all that we could speak too.

The team at Top table went above and beyond from the start, throughout the whole wedding process they offered advice, support and lots of hand holding. They were able to fully cater to our needs. They made the room look amazing on the day above what we could have planned. Jake was amazing and made everything feel so relaxed and took the pressure off us. Grace and the rest of the team were lovely on the day and our guests commented on how amazing all the staff were.

The food was amazing. Everyone has commented on how lovely it was and the best wedding food they’ve had. They kept saying they couldn’t believe how nice it was considering how many people were catered for.

The team from start to finish were warm, friendly & professional, with a big shout out to Grace who coordinated the wedding day to perfection. We had the most magical wedding day and cannot thank you enough. I lost count of the number of guests who commented how lovely the food, service and team were. A perfect day. Thank you again!

The whole team at Top Table were exemplary from start to finish. It was extremely good value for the price paid and we couldn’t recommend them enough!

Quite honestly, we could not fault any aspect of the service. The food was absolutely outstanding and so were the staff. Nearly the entire wedding party approached us at one point during the evening celebrations to express their amazement at the food.

Prior to the wedding, we had an outstanding joke that no-one ever remembers the food at someone's wedding, and it's safe to say that that was most certainly not the case for our wedding!

Even now, 2 years later, we have multiple people recalling the food and service, and how impressed they were.

Top table provided excellent food for our wedding day at Sandhole Oak Barn. We chose the tapas menu and the food was delicious and it just kept coming. The food has been one of the biggest compliments we received by our guest. Our guests who had dietaries were well catered for and did not miss out on any elements of our day!

Grace was our designated wedding coordinator on the day and she was amazing! From the first zoom to discuss our plans to making sure the dessert table and guest book table were clothed so we could set them up the day before. Grace calmed my nerves and was a fantastic support on the day. She made sure we go canapés and stayed dry in the rain. She didn’t just check in with us, she looked after all of our guest. Thank you again Grace for hyping us up and helping us have the perfect day 💛

What can I say. Top table were so helpful from start to finish. Lucy and Grace who coordinated our day were so helpful, they took extensive care of all our guests (in particular our elderly guests) and the feedback we had off our family and friends was amazing. My sister said that whilst sorting the room and the cake in the morning they were proactive and really helpful and worked really well with her.

The food was perfect as we expected and all guests seemed to really enjoy their meal.

From waiting to give out drinks until after our group photo so we didn’t lose guests, to every other minor request throughout the day, nothing was too much hassle.

The experience we had with Top Table was amazing from start to finish. We were treated to a sample menu which was absolutely delicious before making our booking and when we chose our menu, the team went over and above to tie into our Italian theme. They were great at communication leading up to the event and the team were super responsive to all our questions, nothing was ever too much trouble.
On the day, we couldn't have asked for more! The service was impeccable and they kept the day (more than just the mealtime!) ticking like clockwork. They worked seamlessly with the venue and our other suppliers meaning the day was absolutely perfect! As for the food, our guests were bowled over and were so impressed -it's definitely going to stick in their memories for a long time! The food was just absolutely delicious and a really special part of the day, we can't thank the team enough and we would certainly recommend Top Table to anyone looking for amazing food, impeccable service and excellent value for money.
