His repertoire is varied and his style simply effortless and beautiful. Regardless of the individual couple's need, he is sure to offer an elegant and entertaining performance that will enhance the romantic ambience of any venue.

He provides coverage during wedding ceremonies and beyond, including events such as the breakfast and drinks and cocktail services. In addition to the aforementioned offerings, he also offers a customised evening DJ service to cover the entirety of the reception.

I offer a huge repertoire of songs ranging from up to date chart to rock, pop and dance music from the last 50 years, but I can discuss preferences prior to an event to keep your wedding personalised!

Lovely Pianist and Gorgeous Music
James is so professional and talented and came highly recommended by our venue - The Woodman Inn. As soon as we booked the venue, we also booked James as there was noone else I wanted or could trust to play the piano on the most important day of lives. Booking a musician, specially James, takes all the pressure off making sure the music is right for when the guests arrive and you walk down the isle.
James was so helpful, he was brilliant at communicating, he has a massive lists of recommended songs and was willing to learn any song not on his list. James played 'Only You' as I walked down the isle and every single guest was in tears. James played by favourite music by Coldplay and kept the guests entertained whilst we had photos and canapes!
Thank you SO much James - I will recommend you to everyone I know and would not hesitate to book you again for another event!

Perfect atmosphere, perfect music!!
From hearing James at a wedding open day and asking him to play a song that we wanted as our walking down the aisle song we both knew that we had to have James play throughout our wedding day!!
From Canon in D traditional music for my bridal entrance and then our songs that have meaning for the singing of the register to our drinks reception the music was just perfect, having piano music set such an amazing atmosphere and guests were that impressed they wanted James at their own wedding vow renewal.
During the wedding breakfast we were all singing along to the songs throughout and it was just brilliant! Any request guests had wasn't too much and he was just the best, such a genuine person and he really made our wedding unique.

We were lucky enough to have James play at our recent wedding. He was amazing from start to finish.

Perfect Soundtrack to our perfect day!
James provided the music for our entire wedding day. All songs were played to perfection on piano. He played at the church, throughout dinner and DJ'd at the evening do. An absolute professional and outstanding musician. Could not recommend him enough

Amazing Painist
We had the wonderful pleasure of having James play music for our wedding breakfast. We were very relaxed and asked for a relaxed atmosphere and asked him to read the room and play whatever her felt best. James understood the assignment and played very beautiful music that fit in with our vibe. The guests all humming or singing along and playing guess the tune.
We loved every minute of it ❤️ Would 💯 recommend James.

Magical atmosphere
The atmosphere created was incredible. It set our whole day of. James was super just got on with his job and set the scene for everyone. Truly magical and highly recommend what a lovely gentleman.

Talented, amazing, magical
James played his grand piano throughout our ceremony, drinks & reception and wow, he is so talented. We had so many comments from our guests about how outstanding the music was. The live music really made for a lovey atmosphere throughout our wedding day. Highly recommend James, we are so happy we booked him for our special day.

The perfect finishing touch
James is an absolute delight to work with. His playing and professionalism are second to none. The choice of music was brilliant and we trusted him so much we let him have free reign after a few songs. I wanted to walk down the aisle to something different and sent him a version of Taylor Swifts lover which is played even better than the version I sent over. Thank you James, you helped make the day the wedding of our dreams!

Wedding music
Played our ceremony music and wedding breakfast music on a baby grand piano, absolutely awesome, also DJ’d for our evening entertainment and kept the dance floor full all night. Cannot fault the service we received from James, we would highly recommend.

What can we say… truly talented James is great! We would book him again in a heart beat he kept our guests entertained during the drinks reception and meal with classic current and modern songs… if you haven’t booked James you need to!!! Thank me later 💗

Absolutely perfect
We had James play for our wedding on 11/09/21 at Wortley Hall, he played for the wedding entrance and ceremony , welcome drinks and wedding breakfast, he is fantastic at what he does as soon as I heard James play I knew I wanted him to play at our wedding. James has a large selection of songs to choose from old and new-something for everyone , he was very helpful, professional and a lovely guy! We would 100% recommend him. Perfect Addition
James is a professional and a lovely man. The music he played for us was unique & brought a special atmosphere to our day. Our guests were very impressed and paid compliments to the music and couldn’t believe some were dance, rock and pop tunes. Music to our ears
We had the honour of James, playing the piano for our wedding last month. From start to finish, he was professional, friendly and exceptionally talented. We had plenty of comments from Jess about how beautiful the pianist played. When I walked down the aisle, there wasn’t a dry in sight - and a lot of that was to do with the acoustic masterpiece that James was playing.
