The Best Venue Ever
We booked The Fleece as our wedding venue and the entire day was utterly perfect.
From the first day we visited the Fleece, we were met by Carrie-Anne who put us at ease and helped with everything. Throughout our entire planning process, Carrie-Anne was always at the end of an email anytime we needed anything, big or small.
On the day of the wedding, the staff were early setting things up, making sure all of our little details were taken into account. They made sure not a single thing was out of place and made the venue look stunning for us.
Our guests throughout the day complimented the staff on how attentive and warm they were. We really couldn't thank the staff at the fleece enough. A big shout out to the bar staff who never stopped all day long, ensuring everyone was well watered by the end of the night also!
The food... WOW. I cannot lie, it was one of the best meals I've ever had. I speak for most of the guests saying this as so many guests commented on how good the food was. We had the soup, beef dinner and brownie and each course was perfect. Our evening food was equally as nice and many guests took away parcels of food at the end of the night, not wanting this to go to waste. We also had canapes prior to our meal which all of our guests raved about also. From start to finish, the food was 100/10!
The location of the fleece is ideal for anyone looking for coutnryside, peace and beautiful views. The grounds of the fleece with the beautiful summer flowers compliment the venue and the views at the back overlooking the countryside only add to this wonderful venue.
The rooms are stunning. A good size with all the ammenties you could ask for (even if they are a tad warm!)
Even though we didn't have the entire place to ourselves, you wouldn't have known any members of the public were there. No noise, no gate crashers, no fuss. From start to finish, the fleece ensured everything ran smoothly. The entire day ran on time and if there was any issues, we certainly didn't know about them. They made sure we had the most amazing day and we couldn't be more appreciative of eveything this wonderful place did.
If you're looking for a wedding venue or just somewhere to visit, go to the fleece. -

We got married in May but from the moment we booked our wedding at The Fleece, we knew we were in safe hands, but the entire team still managed to exceed every expectation we had.
From start to finish, everything was organised to perfection. The day ran so seamlessly that we were able to completely relax and soak up every moment, knowing everything was being taken care of behind the scenes. It was clear just how much care, experience and attention to detail goes into every wedding they host, and we genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
Every single member of staff was warm, friendly, professional and genuinely invested in making our day as special as possible. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and their kindness created such a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for both us and our guests. We felt so well looked after from beginning to end.
The food deserves a review of its own! It was absolutely incredible and has been one of the most talked-about parts of our wedding. We’ve had countless guests tell us it was some of the best wedding food they’ve ever eaten, which says everything. Every course was beautifully presented, perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious.
Looking back, our wedding day was everything we had dreamed of so if you’re considering booking The Fleece for your wedding, don’t hesitate. -

We'd love to thank all the fabulous staff at The Fleece for making sure we had the most magical day for our wedding on 21.02.2026. The staff team are incredibly efficient, friendly and attentive, everything flowed absolutely seamlessly! Huge thanks to Carrie-Anne and Becky who made sure every 'i' was dotted and 't' was crossed ahead of the big day. I was warmly greeted by Antonia when I first arrived, she made me feel very at ease, and it was blissful to glance around me at how beautiful everything already looked and take in all that was to come before walking down the aisle.
We used Your Aisle Style's Helping Hand package and the whole team ensured the venue was dressed to perfection, our whole craft beer theme brought to life but with very thoughtful tweaks and adjustments that made it even better than we ever pictured!
The food was all perfectly timed and stunningly presented, huge portions, lots of our guests commented on how delicious it was. I didn't get the names of our servers but they were all equally lovely.
The bar team were also fantastic, I should have noted down the name of the guy leading the shift but he had great craic and made sure that I got a drink on the house as the bride, firmly stating that my J2O thirst quencher didn't count and making sure I also had my free Aperol Spritz later on!
Our rooms were immaculate and the honeymoon suite was gorgeous, so romantic. Breakfast was yummy and well needed after all the alcohol and dancing.
Finally, how could we not fall in love with the venue itself. It feels so intimate, rustic and cosy, nothing large scale or over the top. The scenery is like something out of a film and makes for the most picturesque, beautiful photos - we knew after we visited that we simply had to get married there.
We'll remember our special day forever, thank you so much 💗

We got married at The Fleece Countryside Inn on 28th February 2026 and we honestly couldn’t have chosen a more perfect venue for our day.
From our very first visit we completely fell in love with the venue. The setting is absolutely beautiful, with gorgeous views that made the whole day feel really special. It instantly felt like the kind of warm, welcoming place we wanted to celebrate with our friends and family.
Carrie-Ann, Becky and the whole team were incredible from start to finish. Throughout the entire planning process they were so kind, helpful, responsive and organised, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Having such a supportive team behind us made the whole experience so much more relaxed and enjoyable.
The online planning portal they provided was fantastic. It kept everything in one place and made it really easy to keep track of all the details as the big day approached.
On the day itself everything ran so smoothly and we were able to just relax and enjoy every moment. The food and drinks were incredible, and so many of our friends and family commented on how amazing the venue was.

The most perfect day!
We got married here on 19.02 and honestly couldn’t recommend it more.
From start to finish, everything was incredible. The setting itself is just beautiful and made the perfect backdrop for our photos. Every picture looks amazing and we feel so lucky to have celebrated our day there.
The staff were outstanding all day, super friendly, attentive and calm. They couldn’t do enough for us and made everything feel completely stress free. The food was unreal as well, and we’ve had so many compliments from our guests about how good it was.

From the moment we arrived the night before the wedding, until we left the day after the wedding, the whole team was professional, attentive, and truly outstanding. We were made to feel so cared for and completely relaxed throughout.
All our guests raved about the food, even the chef guests! Everyone including vegans was catered for to the highest standards.
There genuinely isn’t a single thing we would change about the day — we just wish we could do it all again. Thank you to Carrie-Anne and her team. -

Where do we start? We booked our wedding day over two years in advance but boy did those years fly by!
I found the fleece here on hitched scouting out venues. We love a rural vibe so we decided we would make a day of it, we contacted Carrie and team to book a viewing. After she gave us a tour, talked us through what our day could look like, the package types - we slept on it for one night and booked it the day after. You need to see the fleece to fall in love with it! The views, the cosy vibes, gorgeous food and lovely staff make it.
From initial booking, Carrie and the wonderful coordination team made the plans running up to our day a breeze. We were simply told what was needed, everything was so well thought out.
The food was incredible and everyone looooved the food!
There are so many great things about this venue, I wish I could list them all. If you’re thinking about going to a fleece open day or to go view it with your fiance, definitely do. The package costs vary, however you won’t regret a penny spent - we don’t! It was so worth it to have everyone we love in one room, well fed and watered - with plenty of seating areas and space for dancing!
Lastly - the staff are so wonderful. The lovely coordinator who moved the screen to help me get my aisle timing right, Carrie and the coordination team - a million thank you’s. The lovely card from you all was so kind.

The venue is just so amazing. Its cosy and has so many hidden spots for the couple photos. The food is amazing and every guest was complimenting it afterwards. The views are insane and make the best photos. I can't recommend this venue enough. What really makes it special though is the team - Carrie-Ann is there every step opf the way and on the day the staff were amazing and were able to help with any last minute questions!
