Facilities and Capacity

The gorgeous Georgian grade II listed Manor House offers so many options for your civil ceremony or civil partnership. The venue has stunning suites, The Ringwood Suite, Chatsworth & Portland, each room is exquisitely finished with period décor to provide a grand, elegant setting for your vows. The hotel is set amid 6 acres of formal gardens and 23 acres of parkland, with outdoor ceremony options of the Garden Pavilion and Italian Garden. This scenery looks spectacular in every season and is a perfect backdrop in which to say your vows and take your wedding photos.

Our beautifully landscaped gardens provide one of the most stunning marquee wedding venues in Derbyshire. Our Grand Garden Marquee is tucked away in its own private garden spot, with sweeping panoramic views over surrounding woodlands and lake. We offer range of packages including International and Asian celebrations up to a capacity of 400.

A memorable day

We recently held our wedding at Ringwood Hall in Chesterfield, and we honestly could not have wished for a more perfect day.

From the very beginning, Sophie and Chloe were absolutely amazing. They were friendly, professional and incredibly helpful throughout the whole planning process, making everything feel straightforward and completely stress-free. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they made sure every little detail was exactly how we wanted it.

On the day itself, everything ran so smoothly, allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment with our family and friends. The venue looked beautiful, the food was fantastic, and all of the staff were welcoming, attentive and worked so hard to make the day special. The grounds and different areas around the venue were also perfect for photographs and gave us so many lovely backdrops to capture the day.

We had the most incredible wedding day and made memories that we will treasure forever. A huge thank you to Sophie, Chloe and the entire team at Ringwood Hall for making our day everything we had hoped for and more. We would wholeheartedly recommend Ringwood Hall to anyone looking for the perfect wedding venue.

Amazing day

We got married on 11.07.2026 at Ringwood Hall and Spa and what a day it was absolute amazing weekend Friday we was greeted by our mc lyndon who from the very moment he meet us put us at ease talking about setting up then on the morning he popped in to see each of us multiple times to check in and make sure all was going to plan and we was staying calm. There was a mix up with sone food that was sorted before anyone noticed we had some guest turn up early and needed to be set a place and food sort again done with no issues and no one including the earlier guests know any different there was honestly none too much for them all the staff were amazing helpful and friendly especially lyndon then the morning after everyone asked how we was and help us get our stuff together and sorted 😀

A disappointing end

We had an amazing day however some things left us very disappointed. We had issues with our rooms including a sink and a shower not working and then a misunderstanding with all of our belongings which meant things got lost and people were away from the wedding and missed out on their food. After trying to resolve this I felt I was spoken to very badly by the manager, we came to a resolution and was offered refunds for our rooms. Over 2 months later I am still waiting for said refunds, despite multiple emails and phone calls. It’s very disappointing to have things end like this and leave a tainted view on our wedding day. So please be aware of the lack of professionalism and responsiveness.

Our wedding at ringwood hall Chesterfield

We chose Ringwood Hall as not only was it beautiful on the inside but the grounds were perfect too. We knew as soon as we pulled up in the car park to view it for the first time that this place was for us! The price is so reasonable aswell compared to other venues near by. I would also like to say a massive thank you to Oliver our MC for the day as he was great at everything throughout the day.

Amazing day

We had the best day of our lives. The venue is stunning!! We had our ceremony in the hotel & our reception in the marquee, it was everything we ever dreamed of. Much better value for money than some other, less nice venues in the area too.

Wonderful venue

We chose Ringwood Hall because it was not only a beautiful setting, it was accessible and had on-site accommodation. The whole team was really helpful, answering any and all questions quickly and efficiently. The staff on the day were excellent, and nothing was too much trouble. The food was fantastic (lots of compliments on the main wedding meal and buffet, and I loved the breakfast the next day).
I would highly recommend this venue. It is beautiful.

Ringwood Hall Winter Wedding

Great Venue, Great Staff, Great Food. Nothing was too much trouble. All our guests thoroughly enjoyed the day. There was so much food and the guests went up for 2nd (and even 3rd helpings!) as it was so tasty and lots of choice. The team at Ringwood could not do enough for us and the day ran like clockwork. If anyone is struggling to find a venue then go and have a chat with the team.

A beautiful venue with professional staff

We found Ringwood Hall by chance at a wedding fair but we were impressed with the presentation and the General Manager and arranged to visit. We just loved the place! We we ourselves a stretching target as we picked a date 6 weeks away. I wanted a Christmas wedding and this did not disappoint. The staff were really helpful and made this so easy to organise. On the day we had John the Master of Ceremonies who made the day run like clockwork. We could not have asked for anything better. The rooms were decorated beautifully with Christmas decorations and trees. The food was lovely. We had a choir singing carols and the grounds are beautiful especially for the pictures. I would recommend the venue to anyone. It made our day special.

Jen was outstanding!

Hi guysXX Just thought it appropriate to get in touch! We have photographed our first wedding in seven years at Ringwood today and it was a delight. Jen the MC was outstanding and a total credit to the business. We photograph between 45 and 50 weddings a year and as you can appreciate we sometimes struggle with some venues who are not willing to work with us the give the couple the all round service. With Jen this couldn`t be further from the truth - she was outstanding - please pass on my thanks

Fantastic!!!!!

Well what can I say! We got married here in December 2016 and it was fabulous and I`m so glad we choose Ringwood Hall as they really did make my dreams come true!
The entire day ran smoothly . The food was incredible so thanks to the chef! The rooms are clean, tidy and beautiful. The grounds are lovely & well maintained. Everything was perfect, they are grisly professionals at what they do. John our MC for the day was incredible - Ringwood hall look after this man as he is a credit to you and I cannot sing his praises enough.
Thankyou to everyone at the hotel for making our dream day the best I could imagine!

Most amazing day of my life, most amazing place

We recently (July 2014) had our wedding at Ringwood Hall, 1 word AMAZING!!!

From the beautiful building, gorgeous grounds and amazing staff that 1 word says it all. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff here and on my wedding day (and the further 2 days we stayed) i felt like my happiness was of the upmost important to them.

The wedding co-ordinators are first class (as with all the staff here) and made every inch of my wedding day easy and enjoyable.

I could gush about this place for ever, I will be visiting Ringwood at every oportunity open to me and am already looking at booking in for my birthday.

Thank you Ringwood Hall for making my wedding day truely magical, and to any brides or grooms out there who are considering Ringwood as your wedding venue...... book it, book it, book it!!!!!!!
