The Grade II Listed, Palace Hotel is nestled in the quaint, stunning town of Buxton, with amazing views of the Peak District National Park. It is rich with history, dating back all the way to the 19th century, and stands as one of Buxton’s most revered and iconic buildings.

This hotel is an extremely popular choice for weddings all throughout the year, with its five acres of glorious landscape posing as the perfect backdrop for your special day.

Buxton has several local parks and gardens full of blossoming plants and vast greenery, ideal for post-wedding photos and romantic walks. The town also has a vibrant high-street of well-known shops as well as charming independent stores to explore.

Wedding Suites

The Palace Hotel has suites available for both civil ceremonies and weddings. There are a variety of suites available for you to design and decorate to bring to life that dream wedding you have always wanted. Opt for the High Peak Ballroom for extravagant affairs, the Cavendish Suite for intimate gatherings, and the Chatsworth Suite for somewhere-in-between. All these spaces feature stained-glass windows, tasteful decor, and overlooks the well-manicured grounds. We can cater to a maximum of 250 guests in one seating!

Our wedding packages also include a three-course wedding breakfast, complimentary drinks for guests upon arrival as well as your chosen evening buffet.

Our Bedrooms

Our wedding suites are the perfect place for you to spend your first night as a married couple. With wonderful views of the stunning surrounding rural sights, these rooms are the perfect place to spend the night after the best day of your life. We can also accommodate your wedding guests here the night before as a perfect place to get ready the morning of the wedding. For your guests, there are a range of rooms on offer, from singles, doubles, triples and family rooms. There are 186 rooms in total, so there is ample room for everyone you wish to invite. Additionally, your guests can also enjoy a special discounted wedding rate on their stay.

The Spa

Our gym and spa facilities provide a range of amazing facilities dedicated to wellness, relaxation and exercise. Whether you wish to work up a sweat in our fully equipped gym or take a relaxing dip in the pool before a facial, there is everything you could need here at the Palace Hotel Buxton. All wedding guests will have access to the facilities, subject to availability.
