Set in the Herefordshire countryside between Ledbury and Ross-on-Wye, The Royal Oak is a country pub with a dedicated function room, making it a relaxed setting for weddings and celebrations.

Our refurbished function room can accommodate larger celebrations, with its own bar, patio doors and plenty of flexibility when it comes to how you arrange and decorate the space. There are exposed beams and a simple, natural feel, giving you plenty of scope to make it your own.

For smaller celebrations, our Library offers a more intimate space for up to 30 guests. There's also a garden and patio area, with views across the surrounding countryside.

We have accommodation on site for up to 13 guests across three options: two letting rooms, sleeping three and four respectively, and a self-catering apartment sleeping up to six. Further accommodation is also available nearby.

Facilities and Capacity

Our function room can accommodate up to 120 guests, with its own bar and access to the patio. It's a flexible space that can be dressed and arranged to suit your plans, whether you're looking for a sit-down meal, buffet or evening celebration.

For smaller weddings and gatherings, the Library can accommodate up to 30 guests.

There's plenty of free parking on site, and we're happy to welcome dogs too.

We're a food-led country pub, so food is a big part of what we do. Our menus focus on good, straightforward cooking, using local suppliers where we can, and we're happy to talk through options for your celebration.

We don't offer a one-size-fits-all wedding package. Instead, we'll work with you to put together a celebration that suits the size of your party and what you're looking for.
