Getting wed at Winkworth was the best decision we made. After what seemed like a long engagement, we discovered winkworth farm and instantly fell in love with the idea of eloping in a relaxing environment with lots of lovely views. After the first meeting with Mel, Jeremy and Tom, it was so clear that this was going to be an stress-free experience. They were prompt at answering any questions and helped in every way possible to ensure we had the best possible day. The team was so kind and accommodating and made us feel relaxed enabling us to enjoy the whole experience. Thoulstone Park was the perfect setting for our summer wedding. The venue was nestled in a woodland clearing surrounded by trees and nature. We chose to have our ceremony outdoors, as we wanted a serene and picturesque space for our vows. While it did unfortunately rain on our day, this added to the magic. In hindsight, we could have added a stretch tent to the area to provide our guests with a bit more shelter, but umbrellas worked well in a pinch. For the dinner reception, the venue featured a permanent marquee which easily fit our 110 guests. The woodland setting added a touch of simplicity and charm to the dining experience. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating and did their best to ensure our vendors and suppliers were able to access the area as and when needed. When we needed to add more items (we added an extra marquee to provide more shelter for our guests), they had no problems. Overall, the venue and hosts' commitment to an easygoing and customizable experience, along with well-managed logistics, made the entire celebration memorable and stress-free. Highly recommend this venue for a relaxed and personal wedding experience. ️
