Licensed for civil ceremonies for up to 180 guests, there is a choice of ceremony rooms including our outdoor Wedding Pavilion, with its stunning backdrop, enjoying picturesque views across our parkland and lake for a truly memorable experience.
Our beautiful Kerry Suite provides a private space for you to celebrate and benefits from its own entrance and private bar with exclusive access to its own Terrace and our outdoor Wedding Pavilion, the ideal space for celebrations.
Bowood offers 43 luxurious hotel rooms and suites, including our exclusive Tower Room for newlyweds. Special accommodation rates are available for your guests where during their stay they can enjoy the use of our award-winning spa, dine in our 2AA Rosette Shelburne Restaurant and Bar, or even a round of golf on our PGA Golf Course.

Bowood is committed to creating memorable and magical weddings and you'll be supported by one of our friendly wedding coordinators, who will assist you in planning every aspect of your celebration. On the day of your wedding, our experienced on-site Operations Team will ensure that everything runs seamlessly.
Our talented culinary team is committed to delivering an exceptional dining experience, from the wedding breakfast and reception canapés to your evening buffet and with a variety of options to choose from, you can design your perfect wedding meal to suit your preferences.
In addition, we work with an amazing little black book of suppliers who we are happy to recommend to you. These are suppliers who have been tried and tested, ready to bring your ideas to life and make your vision a reality.

Meet the team
Hello, I’m Catherine.
My love for hospitality began during my college years—but truly, it started even earlier, when I worked at Bowood as a teenager while studying. That early experience sparked a passion that’s stayed with me ever since.
I went on to study Hospitality at university, which gave me a strong foundation in the industry and deepened my desire to create meaningful, memorable experiences for others. After graduating, I dove straight into full-time event planning, with a special focus on private events, celebrations, and most of all—weddings.
Now that I’ve moved back to the area, I’m thrilled to be back at Bowood, doing what I love most: helping couples bring their dream day to life.
With over ten years of experience, I’ve learned how crucial it is for every detail of a wedding to come together effortlessly. I work closely with each couple to make sure their day feels personal, beautifully thought out, and entirely their own.
I aim to bring warmth and a calm, thoughtful presence to the planning process, so couples feel supported and excited every step of the way. It’s an absolute privilege to help create moments they’ll remember forever.
