Set in 20 acres of parkland in the conservation village of Orton Longueville, this romantic getaway is perfect for soon-to-be newlyweds who desire a truly unforgettable wedding. Previously the estate of the Marquesses of Huntly, this 17th-century house has been renovated to provide a spacious, comfortable hotel. You and your partner are cordially invited to begin your married journey at this one-of-a-kind wedding venue.

The Great Room, with its refined splendour, makes the Orton Hall Hotel and Spa an unrivalled venue for your special day. The Huntly Restaurant, with its intricate carved panelling, is ideal for the smaller wedding. This stunning hotel is surrounded by beautiful wooded parkland for your photographs. If you are planning a large occasion, The Orton Suite would be a wonderful choice. When your wedding draws to a close, you can spend the night in one of the 70 en-suite bedrooms. With ceremony options indoors in our intricate conservatory and outdoors in our beautiful pavillion we are sure to have an option to suit everyone.

Excellent venue and Excellent people
However we did find that whilst in the main the reception team were very attentive and helpful there was one reception supervisor that was less so, when you are celebrating such a special time you would like to be greeted and assisted by people who are happy and helpful, not someone who will not even make eye contact with you. I am only mentioning this because on checked out I had been charged twice for my hotel room on the Friday night, the lady trying to help me need some clarity and the supervisor just didn't seem to want to help. I ended up on honeymoon still trying to rectify this. (not the best experience) however this has now been resolved by the reception Manager who sorted very quickly. It seems that just 1 person amongst a team of amazing people can leave a lasting impression. Please do not let this put you off as I say at the beginning amazing venue, amazing team and a great weekend was had by all.

For couples at the very beginning of their planning journey, a limited number of first wedding showrounds will be available with our dedicated Weddings Team on the day. These appointments must be pre-booked in advance.
