The Added Extra is decorative hire and photo booth service based in Cheshire, England. Their team provides fabulous decor and photo booths for weddings and events big or small to add that special touch to the occasion. Whether you have your heart set on neon backdrops or floral displays, their diligent and experienced team can provide all that and more for your special day.

Services Offered

The Added Extra offers a variety of bespoke designs and decor options to help you decorate your venue to your tastes. Some of the displays they provide include sweet carts, LED dance floors, backdrops, and 4ft LED letters available in different thematic designs. You can also hire up to five Selfie Mirrors which come with ample choice of props so you and your guests can delight in taking fun photos throughout your celebration. Their skilled staff members will be on hand to man the Selfie Mirrors to ensure that everyone in attendance is enjoying the event to the fullest.

Rustic sweet cart and photo box

The added extra were so helpful and provided us with the most perfect and great value rustic post box and sweet box with personalised sweet bags for our special day, which perfectly matched the rustic barn wedding style! Thanks again xxx

Amazing service - great product and hassle free

The Added Extra were a dream to deal with. We ordered a light up dance floor for our wedding and everything was super easy. Great communication, stress free and everything was set up perfectly on the day. The price was also slightly cheaper than competitors offering the same product. Brilliant quality and service!

Perfect hire of rustic sweet-cart and postbox

I am incredibly grateful to Added Extra for coming to my rescue after I was let down by another company. The sweet cart was a huge hit, filled with a variety of treats. The rustic postbox was a lovely addition for collecting all the cards. Thank you once again!

White LED Dancefloor and white Mr & Mrs Letters

We hired The Added Extra for our wedding and they were fantastic! The white LED dancefloor looked stunning and the white ‘Mr & Mrs’ letters were the perfect finishing touch. Everything was set up beautifully and on time – highly recommend!

Great supplier for our wedding!!

The Added Extra have SO many incredible things that you can add to your wedding day. We went for a curtain backdrop, dance floor, postbox and selfie mirror.
When I enquired the ladies were super helpful and easy to speak too, nothing was too much for them (and I emailed a lot!)
The morning of the wedding the gentlemen who set up were quick and efficient, during the day they put the dance floor up, you wouldn't even know they were there and the selfie mirror was AMAZING! everyone absolutely loved it, the props were great, the photos were great and ive just received a USB with all the other prints that didn't make the book. The young lady who worked the mirror waa lovely and so patient with our guests!
Honestly cannot recommend these guys enough and be sure to check out what else they have abailable. Thank you T.A.E

Fantastic Set up and service

This is the first time we have hired a photo booth for our Year 6's and it went down a storm. The children loved the selfie mirror. The set up is fantastic and the added extra of the LED letters really finished off the whole disco. The attendant was great and really worked well with the children. Would definitely recommend and we will be booking again next year!

Light Up Letters

We booked TAE as they were great value for money for the light up letters for our wedding and we knew that the letters would make the perfect backdrop for our dancefloor. From the first point of contact all the way through to our wedding, communication was fantastic and payment was a really simple process. We would definitely recommend TAE for weddings and functions.

Company 10 YEAR Anniversary

We used TAE to help with some decorations for our event. Was very last minute planning but they assisted with accommodating with our needs and was very pleasantly surprised with how well the decorations and sweet cart turned out.
Really helped to provide a focal point to the venue for guest to take pictures and have memories of the night.

LED Mr & Mrs with surname

We had the LED Mr & Mrs with our surname for our wedding two weeks ago. They were absolutely beautiful and we had SO many compliments from our guests about how amazing they were. We had some lovely photos taken in front of them and they were an essential to our decor! Hannah was brilliant and we received top quality service - thank you!!

Loved the extras

Booking a photo both you know what your getting but with these the little added extras didn’t go unnoticed. We had a full album of all of the photos of our guests along with a usb to save them all too. The girls who attended were full of smiles and laughs with us while taking the pictures. Such a great company

Easy to work with and reasonably priced

TAE have been very friendly, professional and responsive from the moment I contacted them - not pushy at all like some suppliers. The phone booth went down a treat with our guests as did the sweet cart! Thanks so much, we would definitely use you again and recommend your services.

AESG Prom 2025

Hannah was efficient, friendly & responsive throughout! All changes & queries were dealt with promptly & there were many …. It was a prom after all! We ended up with the sequin wall & the selfie mirror with pink ropes to match the colour theme!
The team that set up on the day were friendly & chivalrous ( lost count of the times the gents walked backwards down the stairs!)
The evening attendant ( apologies I’ve forgotten her name ) was extremely helpful! Suggested a few things to the girls and made them feel very comfortable!
